Re: I managed to invite 1 of my friends to invest in bitcoin

today as usual I went shopping to my neighbor's shop, to buy groceries, for daily needs.
and when I got to the store I saw the shopkeeper holding a cellphone,
and at that time he immediately asked me and while pointing at his cell phone, and said what ad is this, ma'am? and at that time I immediately smiled, apparently on his cellphone there was an advertisement for an application for buying and selling bitcoin and crypto. and at that time I explained that it was an advertisement for buying and selling bitcoin exchanges. and at that time he asked me what is bitcoin? and I explained to him as best I could that bitcoin is an asset for the future, and we can invest in it, and I also explained that I also invest in bitcoin, and after that he finally got interested in investing in Bitcoin, and downloaded the exchange app and he immediately ask to be guided by me to buy bitcoin, and to be honest I'm happy because my neighbors invest in bitcoin just like me..

and I also before he invested, had warned him earlier, that investing in bitcoin is very risky, profit and loss.
and i also suggest to join this forum to learn more about bitcoin.

because honestly I myself am still a beginner. what do you think everything i do
is it wrong or not?
Great! Glad to hear your neighbor is interested in Bitcoin. It's always great to spread awareness and educate people about different investment opportunities. Just remember, as you mentioned, investing in Bitcoin can be risky so it's important to do thorough research and consider all options before making any decisions. Best of luck!

A user named "rainydayyfunds" lost 223.97 bitcoins today.

Bet: https://www.bustabit.com/bet/1272263935

Definitely one of the craziest bets I've seen in a while.

Good call, I deleted it 2 days ago too. It's a shame what happened to this company, but that's normal if it's operated by clowns.

This thing about the Tether documents was just another FUD. There're plenty of threads about it. However if you some of you HODL USDT and feel scared about their funds, then just switch to DAI. Problem solved.

Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"?
by
ZZ8ZZ
on 27/11/2020, 12:16:03 UTC
Up to now, 2017 is definitely the "Golden Year of Crypto",we all know that year was so unbelievable. But in the future, i hope 2017 is not the best .

This year has also been fantastic if you look back the way we started this year and where we are today considering all this is happening in between of pandemic. So I would consider this year as well equally important as 2017 was and also this give us light further than bitcoin still can surpass ATH in coming days/months.
Bitcoin will definitely hit new ATH, but 2017 is different. 2017 can be said that the world is getting to know crypto and where people start investing massively in crypto. I think 2017 is a special year for crypto and blockchain
I'll never forget this year my man. It was definitely a good idea to get people (who never knew about crypto before) to invest into BTC and get involved into the crypto world. Many people said that 2017 was the wild west of cryptocurrencies where the FOMO was so huge that even shitcoins used to skyrocket like crazy. However now people are way more educated about crypto and as you can see only reputable projects go up while shitcoins haven't made a move since 2017.

Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS

on 27/11/2020, 12:10:30 UTC
I remember of a friend who gave up his studies and went all-in on AMP coin (Synereo - if you remember the project). By saying all-in, I don't mean that he invested any money on it but all his time. He worked as a programmer for them and used to earn $300 worth of AMP each month. He did this for at least 3 years, the project did well and he almost became a double millionaire when the spike occurred in markets during 2017 when BTC was $14k and reached $20k. But he kept the coins as it is, didn't sell them when I even advised him to do so and later when the crash happened, the project itself came to an end putting all his work and savings under the grave. So, you need to know when to sell as that's too an important part of trading.
Same here with the DeepOnion shitcoin. Got free airdrop worth of 18K USD when BTC was at ATH back in 2017. Didn't sell a single coin cuz of greed and also I was a complete noob in all this trading stuff. Decided to HODL and now the coin is completely dead. However, I kept checking out the project from time to time and earlier this year I saw that they're getting delisted from many exchanges so I said to myself: "That's it, I'm withdrawing everything" and I managed to withdraw $700 which I put into BTC, made it to $2500 with trading and now I sold everything when BTC was at 19,2K USD. Valuable lesson learned Smiley

Re: WOMAN WHO CREATED A FAKE BITCOIN STILL ON THE RUN. WILL THE POLICE GET HER?
by

In my opinion she was just a figurehead, dummy but not stupid. Nobody knows the real masters of this scam and who stood behind the scene but to run such a scheme you must have big money too.
Exactly this! I'm from the same country where "Ruja" is from (Bulgaria)  so there're plenty of news in our own language which no one bothers translating. My country is famous for 1 thing, that no matter how big of a scam you pull, you can always get away with it and that's exactly what Ruja did. However same as you after reading numerous of articles, I'm 98% sure that she's not the mastermind behind it but most likely her brother or someone even more influential who's standing above them and pulling the strings.

Phah where are you reading this FUD?  Grin The second king after Bitcoin is Ethereum idk what these delusional people are talking about, but trust me OP.. Ethereum is going to reach new and new heights in the future simply because the dev team behind it never stops working. All these tokens would never exist if it wasn't for Ethereum so idk what people are saying but an ETH "dead" or "overthrown" is never going to happen.

If I were you I'd not put my money anywhere right now and sorry if I'm wrong but you are not a professional trader right? No sane person would suggest you to invest in alts or BTC right now when everything is going up like crazy.. yep you might make some profit but it's a double edged sword investing when the market is going up.

Re: Is this the long awaited bull run?
by
ZZ8ZZ
on 25/11/2020, 21:42:09 UTC
If that's not a bull run i don't know what else you can call it lol  Grin BTC is rising indeed but what about alts? If you were here during the 2017 bull run I'm sure you can clearly see how this bull is way different than the previous one. Let me give you a hint: In 2017, every reputable alt and shitcoin used to follow BTC like crazy, now it's not like this. Only reputable projects are growing and everything else with a dead dev team behind it is just staying still in the shadows  Grin Which alts can be considered "reputable" is another story tho  Wink

Re: What happens to my bitcoin if I die today?
by

on 25/11/2020, 21:36:02 UTC
Your bitcoin will be safe in heaven with you my friend, unless you tell someone before your death.
I am literally laughing reading the tittle. not because it sounds ridiculous, but it’s relates to me. Believe me or not, I always think about it, almost everytime I saw my portfolio significantly up. Lol
I have conservative parents, they dont even know how to facebook (oh, but they know how to youtube).
I have already told the, about bitcoin, at least it sounds familiar when they heard a word “bitcoin”.
I am about to write a guidance to locate and use my bitcoin after this.

Glad that I am not the only one  Grin

I'm glad I have a sister who is okay with technologies but my parents are another story  Grin The title got me thinking tho, I've never thought about this till now... I don't have a significant amount of BTC to my name but still you never know what might happen in the future and it'd be really selfish to die with your Bitcoins as funny as it sounds  Cheesy I wonder what would be the best way to let your family know about your BTC in case something happens to you  Huh Huh

Re: I Am Emotional after seeing this Rally
by

on 25/11/2020, 21:30:29 UTC
Yes, it's really good to see those who believed in Bitcoin during its worse are getting the rewards in the form of bullrun, it's not an easy task to hold on when the market goes through Bitcoin bloodbath. But I feel sad for those investors who invested when Bitcoin was at ATH and then sold it incurring loss due to high emotions and panic which loomed over crypto market in 2018.
I did hold throughout all this blood bath and I turned out to be a winner in the end  Cool You can never catch ATH or ATL, as long as you're in profit whenever you cash out doesn't matter, win is a win and I feel happy about it. BTC has so much potential that 20k is nothing for this cryptocurrency.

You are a long term supporter and yet you ask a question like that... Let me tell you, there's a hard working team behind Ethereum and if ETH is ever going to die it's gonna happen when all other cryptocurrencies are dying too, which I doubt it'll ever happen. As a bonus i'd like to tell you that a new ETH ATH is on the way.

Re: What old coins are you still holding?
by
ZZ8ZZ
on 24/11/2020, 11:23:48 UTC
Guys back in 2017 I got 18K USD worth of free airdrop from DeepOnion. Stupid me was a noob in the crypto world and things were happening so fast that I didn't sell a single coin... Afterwards I was like: "Well, opportunity missed" and forgot about the crypto world at all. 3 years later I check my DeepOnion coins and see they're worth 700 USD. I also read that this shitcoin got delisted from a major exchange and as you can see from it's graph, the price was not moving at all. I managed to sell my $700 worth of coins in the shady exchange it was being traded at and put everything in BTC. Afterwards I gambled everything to $2300 worth of BTC and recently sold everything. Now I'm waiting for the dip so I can buy more BTC.

So yeah... had a bad experience with old (SHIT)-coins.

Re: Don't repeat same mistakes

In 2017 when bullrun took over crypto space and many altcoins joined later some people still keep holding thinking that their altcoins will keep surging and surging, little did they know that bull season always have short life span when comparing to bear season, bear season can stay for years but bull season is just in months, so why are you holding when you should be selling?

Remember that some bought bitcoin at 20k and they have no choice but to hold till today, imagine all this year's waiting just to get back to where you once are. Bitcoin is over 18k now, good for them cos they are near recovery since 2017.

Know when to get in and know when to get out, don't be a greedy bastard.

I already learned my lessons back in 2017 when I had alts worth of 18K USD and didn't sell a single coin... I got all the coins for free from airdrops tho, but it's still a considerable amount of money that I missed on. However, I knew that there would be more bull run in the future and look what happens now? BTC back at 18k-19k mark and this time I'm slowly emptying my bags, hoping for the dip so I can buy again Smiley

Re: Can bitcoin make someone the richest in the world?
by
ZZ8ZZ
on 24/11/2020, 11:11:21 UTC
I do believe is possible however it's gonna be hard because of the liquidity in the market. I also think that many of the richest people in the world already own a decent amount of coins, so they'll just become more and more rich. BTC already made lots of normal people millionaires and it'll keep making new and new ones more and more often in the near future when the price continues to go higher.

Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price?
by
ZZ8ZZ
on 20/11/2020, 12:22:02 UTC
The scalability issues are the main problem and the current market conditions are not as same as in 2017. BTC first time has crossed the $17k price and the altcoins have followed this route all the way up to ATH. The alt season will bring the big money to the market and BTC price has not reached the top level yet.
Altcoins will never follow BTC like they did back in 2017, you have my word for it. Of course some of them will surely go up together with BTC, but you'll never see shitcoins pumping like crazy cuz of BTC like the bullrun back in 2017. Solid projects will keep growing indeed, but having an "alt season"? Nah, don't think so. For reference you can check the charts of some coins which went up like crazy back in 2017 and as of today they're eating the dust with 0 movement at all.

Re: [POLL] 2020, your last chance of owning 1 BTC
by

on 20/11/2020, 12:17:54 UTC
I highly doubt it that it's the last change to own 1 BTC. It's still a wild west over here in the crypto world and I'm pretty sure the price of BTC will fall again. Will it fall around the 10k mark or go around the 5k - 6k mark? No one knows, but it will surely do it.

Re: Hidden team members or not make any difference?
by
ZZ8ZZ
on 18/11/2020, 16:17:32 UTC
Its not good hidding some members of the project its like they saying that the project will do unnecessary things thats why they need to hide of their upper members of the team.
I never liked all these "hidden" members who come out of nowhere. Crypto projects are all about transparency and if I ever find out that some of the team members of a project I invested in are not the real team members or there are additional team members which were never mentioned then I'd immediately withdraw and sell everything. No transparency is like saying fugg you to all investors.
