Global update is ready! It is mostly a bugfix release, the more significant upgrades are coming next month. You can download PhoenixMiner 6.3b from here:
Hello! Do not keep running gigabyte p106. Reboots every 1-2 minutes. Overclocking: core: 1 memory: 1500, PL: 85, Fan speed: 75%. Tell me the correct overclocking.
Could we get an update for Claymore's CryptoNote GPU Miner v9.7
Also When I mine with Claymore 9.7-10.0 eth/sia everything is good no gpu errors when I try to mine with claymore CryptoNote 9.1 overclocked or not I get constant errors "gpu fault detected" what could this be since it does that overclocked and not overclocked?
there is no such version for linux, claymore is already working on it to support linux.
As far as I can tell everything works great after the new update! Thanks so much for this feature!! Still happy that I switched to SM back than...
I am happ that you guys like it It was most wanted update ever
The problem is that there was more overclocking in Windows, and at the same time it worked stably. You have a very cool system, but I can not understand my problem (
That's odd man, i got 40 x ASUS P106 running at 1500 memory and they rarely reset

Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System
Tytanick can you please confirm if the new version works on P106-100 rig with applied OC and PL ? As some forum users said it works but others say it doesn't. Just to make it clear for everyone including myself.
I was wondering if anyone who uses SMOS on more than 10 P106-100 mining edition cards still experiences problems with OC and PL or did tytanick solved this issues? Also, do I still need to edit the system file to get the cards running from 2MH/s to their standard hashrate ( deleting the -allow-empty-configuration command) ?
Wanted to use the SMOS but since OC wasn't available there's not much point really.
Thanks in advance to everyone who can answer my question!
I currently running 3 P106 rig: 2x13gpu and 1x14gpu. I haven't experience any problem with OC so far, there is a new patch that fix the problem already you don't have to edit any system file.
How did you do that? I still have 2mh/s on P106
just format your usb, flash the newest image and don't edit anything. plug it in, let it do all the update and it will run at 2mhs, but don't freak out reboot the rig and try again couple time till it gone. You know it work when the screen froze up when claymore start.

1070 58+ mhs on ETHASH, is this real or fake?

So, i just surfing youtube today and I find out about this guy who release 3 videos recently about mod driver 385.28 for 1070 and make it run at 58 mhs. I don't know if this true or not, but if it true will this mod damage the gpu in long term in anyway? I haven't contact him and ask about the mod yet, because I really don't know much about software and stuff. So can anyone with software experience have a look at this? Here is the guy channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC802yD-3hCU3iwCcCo_06aw

Dude, whats your power limit? mine set at 75w but the rig restarted very hour i guess.
Core: 0 Mem: 1400
P106 consume around 80-90w per GPU, so it is best to set the power limit at around 85

Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System
I have p106-100 GPU and flashed latest version of SMOS but all GPU give 2mh/s. I search here for some help and found this message: https://yadi.sk/i/trdVBDsU3MTV9X i did it and know i have 20mh/s per GPU but overclocking on dashboard not working. On Windows OC i have 25mh/s per GPU.
How can I use all the possibilities SMOS? Anybody know how i can fix my problem?
With the newest smos version, in the first couple time you boot it will give 2mhs. Just keep reboot the rig till it gone you don't have to edit anything anymore. With the current ver, you will know it work when the screen froze after the miner start, switch to simplemining web and check the console.

I'm just curious, does smos auto restart and download when a new update release or do I have to manual restart the rig to download the update?

Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System
I manage to make p106 OC and work normal like on window. on window claymore run 8 gpu just fine, but smos only detect 7 out of 8 gpu. I already try to format the usb and flash the program again but it still didn't work. Can anyone help?
I've got the same problem. Only 11 of 12 cards are recognized. Would love some help from the mining gurus
I manage make 8 gpu work now but the display monitor hook to the rig alway froze up before claymore start hashing. I can only view through the console on the web. I update motherboard bios, enable vd-t and some how the last gpu just pop up.
Great to hear you got it working! Can I ask which motherboard you're using? Also, what's vd-t? Is it a bios option?
the motherboard I used was ASUS H270 PLUS, vd-t or vt-d i can't remeber the exact name but it is in the bios option it usually above enable 4g decoding.
That's interesting. I'm using a TB250-BTC Pro. Odd that we would be having similar problems on different boards. I'll see what I can pull off. Thanks a ton for the information!
The hashrate go up and down very crazy too. Sometime it 25mhs per gpu, other time it only 20

Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System
can someone teach me how to use winscp to connect smos, i saw somebody said i need to edit some file to make my p106 work normal but I don't know the Ip, username and password.
You need an openssh server running on the machine. Once openssh is installed, you need to configure a local account for the winscp client to connect to.
I connected easily - i have another wifi router and i plug ethernet cable to the rig, then login to 192.168.0.1 (to the main router) and look for wifi connections ip adress. Then put IP from the router web interface , (which is second router) to winscp and connect using root / miner1324 login, password. That's it.
I already realize that when i read back a couple pages, but thank you anyway. My only problem now is that smos didn't support p106 so i can only run 7 out of 8 gpus at 20.9mhs when OC (on window I can run 25mhs easily). Guess I'll go back to window till linux have more support from nvidia and amd.

there are also another problem, smos only detect 7 out of 8 gpu. when i run the rig on windows 10, claymore can easily detect 8 gpus so i know it's not motherboard bios or riser problem.

just want to suggest, can you also add power consumption in watt for each GPU? I know you can use GPU-z to check for AMD GPU but for NVIDIA GPU that didn't work.
