Re: [ANN] [CURV] Cryptocurve, a front-end for Wanchain and an upcoming crypto wallet

If that's the case, for a project of this quality that's actually quite good for holders. Fewer contributors = fewer weak hands, much lower supply, and much greater moon potential.

Yeah agreed, I wonder how much they raised in Private sale? Could turn out to be micro-cap and these are mooning a lot recently.

They had a larger raise in the private sale as compared to the public sale. I think the retail investments is slow and low in these markets but the bright side to this that 75% of the unsold tokens will be burned.

Read about the project in a few posts on Reddit, really love their focus on privacy. What is the use case for the SNIPS tokens, it this a security or a utility token?

Is Wanchain the only project currently doing cross chain transactions? BTW that's a good $ pool for your bounty campaign, thanks for sharing.

Re: People's feeling towards Bitcoin is changing
by
ZaraArun
on 21/11/2017, 20:44:08 UTC
There has been an interesting change over the last few days.

A few days ago all users in here responding to my posts were extremely angry that I would even suggest that there might be problems with Bitcoin. But over the last 24 hours, there has been a change. Now I more and more see:

- people who agree we are heading into a bubble (altought different views on when it will burst)
- people who agree that miners are increasing transaction costs dramatically and are a threat to very idea of decentralized Bitcoin itself
- people who have lost money due to various hacking scams

The tide clearly seems to be turning

But then this division in opinion has always existed, hasn't it.. now that BTC has touched all time highs every banker is trying to take a swing at it..
That reminds me who are these people bad mouthing BTC.. The Bankers of course.. and isn't it obvious why!
who else.. the ones that would generally bad mouth anything that they do not use and understand.. .
About the mining cost and transaction costs, there are solutions available, not implemented on the BTC blockchain but when it becomes a need it will be ..

Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ?
by

I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
100 years is a long time my friend. I do not know if Bitcoin will survive in its current shape and form however I am pretty sure that its legacy will.
There will chapters in school books dedicated to Bitcoin and the revolution that it kick started.

Should I Invest In Bitcoin?

I'll tell you what I feel.
I feel I should've invested a long time ago. I do not want to feel that again in a few months so i will be investing whatever spare cash that I have.

The rally as you know is due to the upcoming fork. I am not sure if the price will drop before the fork unless there is any unfavorable news.
The price will may fall after the fork as correction occurs and people book their profits.

I am looking to buy some after the fork..

I think so too .. that it will go down by ~$500-$800 and then stabilize for a short while before it starts climbing again.. only time can tell

Re: SCAM ALERT: BITCOIN INDIA
by
ZaraArun
on 28/09/2017, 04:54:15 UTC
Bitcoin India has suspended accounts of many users and users are unable to get their money back.
There is no positive reply from customer care.
Those who have accounts there, please withdraw their money asap.

Be Safe.

Namaskar fellow Indians,

I can vouch for this. Have been using bitcoin-india.org as a convenient way to accumulate, although they sell at a premium over international exchanges. I started 2 months back and have learned that it is feasible to buy cheap BTCs from LBC and purchase alt coins from bittrex or poloniex. Anyone just starting could learn from this shared experience.

Back to the matter at hand. "bitcoin-india.org" has always had horrible customer support, buggy interface. But they crossed all limits on the 15th of Sept. During the recent deep market correction (on 15th sept) their buy prices were sky high. I told them so and some issue started with their prices. They ended up shutting down services for over 24 hours. Upon revival the next evening, my account was suspended without explanation. Several attempts to contact them via various channels of communication seemed futile. The next day, they sent me a one sentenced apology email and revived back my account. Needless to say, I have withdrawn all cash and coins from there and transferred to secure wallets.
Going to get legal advice but dont think anything can happen as sector not regulated yet, although they are registered as "BITCOIN INDIA SOFTWARE SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED"

Its my first post on btalk. dont think i can upload images. so here's a link to it instead. imgur(dot)com/tOf8vLY
The only edit on this is me removing my profile pic next to the battery level indicator.

Go ahead and read all their stellar reviews on facebook. link: facebook(dot)com/pg/Bitcoin(dot)India(dot)Org/reviews/?ref=page_internal

Stay safe, not scared.

And above all, HoDl Strong!!!

I was looking forward to opening an account with the exchange but I am not anymore. Its always a good idea to check the forum talks before investing in some exchange/coin that is not yet popular... Thanks for sharing..

Re: How many ways are there to earn bitcoins?
by
ZaraArun
on 26/09/2017, 21:26:34 UTC
Recently, I've been trading bitcoins on btc-e, earning only a little, yes, very little, except the fees that btc-e takes.

Besides trading, are there any good method to earn bitcoins?   Thanks.

There are 10 major and popular methods to earn bitcoins out there!

1 - | Bitcoin Mining |
2 - | Faucet - Free Bitcoin |
3 - | PTC or PTR websites |
4 - | BitcoinTalk Signature Campaigns |
5 - | Writing for blogs and news sites |
6 - | Play games to earn Bitcoins |
7 - | Bitcoin Trading |
8 - | Bitcoin lending |
9 - | Gambling |
10 - | Bitcoin Affiliate Marketing |

Details can be found here on https://bitcoinprofit.net/info/page/earn_bitcoin

thank you for the list.. This should help me get started... neatly organized.. Looks like the link don't work no more "404. That’s an error. "

Re: If bitcoin has enemy (except altcoin) what is it?
by
ZaraArun

You can tell me anything what's bitcoin worst enemy is...

Mine is, government!

Haha.. Jamie Dimon from JP Morgan... I think Bitcoin will have to cross many hurdles and challenges..
And these resistance will come from the Banks and Governments Alike:
Banks because Bitcoin is an parallel currency will be in direct competition to the fiat
Government because of the Decentralized and Private Nature of Bitcoin transaction.. They will have a had time tracking tractions and taxation will be difficult

Re: India cryptocurrency 'Lakshmi Coin'
by
ZaraArun
on 23/09/2017, 19:40:39 UTC
What ? Govt of India may launch India's own cryptocurrency 'Lakshmi Coin' ?

Apparently the SIT has some negative impression.. Maybe they have some misgivings as well.. You know how it works in India... Lakshmi coin had to initially halt their planned ICO because of the Government..
Jamie Dimon apparently advised the RBI against cryptos ... but the SIT has not reached the final decision yet.. I wish there was a way we could influence their decision in favor of the TRUE new world order..
It time to end the centralized monopoly as it has lead to mass corruption and loss of control...
