What's the gap like on 10xx cards right now? For sols/s: sp vs nicehash miner?

Where did you found sp's zcash miner?
I didn't? I haven't been around in a bit I read most of the pages I missed but not all, I was just inquiring about performance differences. I assume he has one but he may not, or it may be private.

I'm getting 50-54 sol/s with my 2x 970 evga ssc.

Any idea what a Strix 1070/1080 are achieving?
1070 is doing around 32 Sol/s, 1080 is very close to what 1070 can do at the moment...
Well that sucks balls lol. Hopefully it improves. No rush though.

no rush?
I'm not a big fish or a dev so I can't affect anything. Just have to wait and see. Ergo, no rush.
Edit: all i have is two cards which i intend to upgrade whether they mine well or not. Just seeing if its worth the 1070 or 1080 from a mining perspective.

Current rates better to go with 2x 1070 or 2x 1080?

I've tested a lot of Pascals today with SP_mod#3.
The approach is only 5-7% , according to several different models I have:
1080 FE - 6 cards rig from 330 to 365MH
Palit 1080 GameRock ( Without Premium) - 6 cards rig - from 365 to 384-7MH
Palit 1080 SJS  - 6 cards rig - from 370 to 398 MH
Palit 1070 SJS - 6 cards rig - from 288  to 301 MH

So guess I'll be waiting for this 12% gain ...

You bought all those for mining?

Or you only have "access" to them?

Im related to the local distri.. And yes I bought all these for mining Smiley

Quite the investment. If I had the funds I'd build at least one myself but alas I do not.
How do you like the new Pascal vs maxwell?

yes. +3.3% fee
Aaah. Okay. I've just been using the small amount I do make to order upgrades to my pc lol. Motherboard next then I'll just pay cash for cpu since either way with only 2 cards it takes a very long time.

I tested latest from sp_ factory with 8-pin 970 and I can confirm that there is no memory controller load anymore with lbry. That alone opens new possibilities for future development.

Bad news is that 8-pin card is so tdp limited that my tests were worth nothing.

Opensource with core@1500 and -i 25 does about 163MH, crashes with -i 26 or core@1520-1530. Hits tdpwall too.

sp_mod overclocks like beast, 1600 and way beyond but that doesn't help when power is limiting factor.

Conclusion: You need to have 8+6pin card or mod your bios. Waiting for dual miner.

Good to know. I have 2 8+6 970 evga ssc. Have bought sp_'s decred mods in the past.
The usual 0.1?

Lots of fire in this thread lately. Haven't been around. My 2x 970s worth mining on nowadays?
They do at least 300 units on lbry. Do the math.

Thanks for the tip. I had been testing the waters on lbry but need to sit down and oc again.
Recently formatted and reset everything to stock.
Zzz..

If I had caught it during the donation wave, sure I'd do the 0.1 but if its free in 4 days its rather lackluster. Though I do try and contribute as much as I can when I can. Smiley ! No devs, no mining.

Haven't been around in ages, is there a public LBC or still only private ones / private ones that aren't being sold now? For nvidia not amd.

You need to wait four more days before epsylon3 releases 1.5.80 which supports lbry. Sp might come out with something before that.

Yeah it seems I'm a few days late for the donation miner. Oh well. I'll have to wait!

Still fairly new myself, with Bleutrade and exchanges in general. No complaints when withdrawing etc though. Seems to be relatively quick each time I've done it. Perhaps due to the smaller amounts maybe, not sure. It's just unusual with them being unreachable.

Edit: Seems like hardware maintenance, down for several hours.

Dear user, we are conducting a non-scheduled maintenance on our servers. This can take several hours. The problem is hardware and requires a great replacement. Your balance is safe. We apologize for the inconvenience. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Hi. I'm using your mod and currently getting really low hash rates.

Around 15-20 Mh/s

2x EVGA GeForce GTX 970 04G-P4-3975-KR 4GB SSC GAMING w/ACX 2.0+

Also using the P0 fix for gpu usage.
Common consensus seems to be 20 mh per 970

ethminer --cuda-devices 0 1 -G -F http://eth-us.suprnova.cc:3001/zekkuuu.1/25 -U

Any suggestions/tips greatly appreciated thanks.

Edit: can dip under 10 mh at times.

windows 10?

use windows 7

I was using 7 before but upgraded to 10 then stopped mining ETH because of those problems.
Far as I'm aware most recent revision had fixed it.
If it worsens again I'll switch back to DCR most likely.

Thanks though! :-D

THE "-G" FLAG IS FOR OPEN-CL--

Try substituting the "-U" CUDA switch, as it specifies CUDA devices.  The "-G" switch is for AMD devices.  Your launch line is saying "Look for CUDA devices but mine with Open-CL."  I get 20MH/s each with my 970 cards while using Genoil's miner.       --scryptr

Woops! Thanks. I'll tweak it right now.

Edit: Changed it. With -G it was spiking occasionally close to 35 but never for long.
Apparently I had -G in the beginning and a -U at the end that I forgot about. Derp.
