I'm trying to join the airdrop and tested the wallet. Why does it take a long time for the wallet to start? And when I able to get to the portion of creating an account, it takes a long time? Is there some configuration I need to do? The wallet indicates that it is "Connecting," so I have a problem right?

In my opinion, the devs should think about changing the collateral, that is needed to host a masternode. A higher ROI is the key for a higher interest in the coin/project itself and obviously for a higher price. At this moment the needed LPC for a masternode is around 900$, this is in my opinion to low. What is your opinions about that guys?
I don't think changing collateral on coins is a smart move, unless it was planned from the beginning. It feels like a price controlling mechanism and a team shouldn't be focussed on that.. they should focus on delivering on the roadmap.
There are 53 nodes for sale on CB alone.. most of them at very low price.. and still the total MN count is increasing. I'd like to know where all these coins are coming from..

Well if the price is low, obviously people jump on and create more masternode. New Coins are coming from the block reward...

If that is the case, then that would mean almost every MN holder is selling their rewards. Actually, not selling but dumping seeing the sharp price decline.
I hope these MN holders come to their senses and sell more responsibly.. we control the price if we play it smart
Unfortunately, selling is unavoidable if one needs to pay for expenses like electricity. It's just how the market works, some will sell, some will hold, until the market improves and many will not sell for fear of being left behind.

It means few are now willing to sell at a lower price. It could also indicate that investors are holding for the long term. Most coins have dropped in price and trading volume. That's the nature of the bear market. Most coins are affected.

It is likely that the team is still working to expand the partnership in these regions.All these planning should have been already made even before the launch of the ICO. This is one complaint I have with blockchain products. Not much attention is being given in the UI front to make it easier to use by ordinary users. I wait the day an Apple-like mentality comes to blockchain to make ease of use a priority.

These long bearish market has put pressure on many people especially those who held their coins or bought near the top. As a result, fuses are shorter and frustration has mounted for months. Always be quick to cut loss or sell at a profit. Don't dream of astronomical prices almost always never come.

Personally I don't trust many of these type exchanges
So now unless you have some new hyped up new consensus mechanism that is probably more centralised and less secure than what we have then you have no tech. Or just write some nonsense white paper that sounds smart to them and off you go.
Then again that exchange could be a worry right now until things are clearer there.

Kinda weird that Kucoin rejected Bitbay when Bitbay was listed in Bittrex, Upbit, and Cryptopia. Bittrex alone is validation enough on the quality of the project. There's a lot of new exchanges coming up. If the community needs more exchanges, there are a lot to choose from.

To scale down the denomination of Byteball on exchanges (from Gigabytes to Megabytes or lower) has been debated for a while now, mainly for reasons of marketing. But someone has pointed out that there are deeper reasons for doing that: to define a Byteball unity as 1 Gigabyte would be like defining an unity of dollar as 1 Million $. Of course this does not make any sense if you are looking for mass adoption, like Byteball is:
Ordinary investors don't really think that deeply. A lot of them just go out and buy the cheapest coin they can find, hoping it will explode like Bitcoin. We need those investors, just like we need the true believers of Byteball.
Denominating GB as the basic unit of Byteball ensures that they pass on.
You are sharing my same opinion without fully realizing it. In fact, not many of the community seem to have understood my post. As soon as you post something just a bit out of the usual common places and stereotypes people look at you as a fool (or an hopium smoker). Even here in the crypto world. I disagree about needing to change the denomonation. 1 bitcoin is a large sum of money but that doesn't do it any harm. The unit of GByte is quite convenient and nowhere near as big an amount as 1 bitcoin. The denomination is not the problem. If the price rises to millions of dollars we seemlessly start quoting in lesser amounts. Its no big deal, when theres a need.

This is true, we need those investors. The distribution has chased those investors away. For the time being. Savvy investors who like byteball will not buy now they will wait until the distribution is ending. There is no incentive to invest now while supply still needs to increase by 30 to 40% Or they give up bored if it becomes the never ending story.
Some people don't really get it. The only reason people buy Bitcoins is because they hope to sell it 10X or 100X higher. They consider it a store of value which possibly can make them rich.
Byteball is supposedly aiming to become a form of money people can actually use. Widespread adoption is the mission. For that purpose the base unity you are using to count the currency must be an everyday life quantity. Gigabytes are the "million of dollars" of Byteball - that doesn't make any sense for a currency you are actually planning to use. You need to scale it down.
Or perhaps the mission instead IS to make Byteball a store of value like Bitcoin. Then this should be stated clearly. But I don't think Tony is thinking like that, which is good, because what the world need is a cryptocurrency people can actually easily use. As a store of value, Bitcoin is already enough.
Yes it is supposedly aiming for that (money you can spend) - (bitcoin started out with that aim too). Its a long long way from that at the moment. I have never yet seen anything I can buy with byteball. When it gets there and one byte is something more valuable than a tiny fraction of a cent (or penny) then maybe that will be a practical unit to quote price with. Besides money needs to be a store of value or it won't be much good as money
Most crypto coins/tokens have that ultimate goal of replacing fiat. Unfortunately, only a handful are used to buy for goods and services. And if and when they are used as such, merchants almost always quickly convert to fiat. The current financial system is so well entrenched in our daily lives that replacing it will take a lot of time and effort.

I remember that Poloniex was bought by Circle, a Goldman Sachs-backed company, for $400M. For sure they are improving Poloniex even as we speek. That's a huge investment that says a lot.

Any blockchain project will need substantial funds, not necessarily in the millions of dollars. Most of the time, the devs use their own funds or there are angel investors to support them. If only the crypto market is not in a bear market, sourcing of funds would have been easier.

Exploring those markets in restless countries like Venezuela to seek adoption is very good move for Nano. Nano can be best alternative for people those are desperate to find working ways and cost effective. Internal situation is ready just to present the case in perfect way and adoption procedure will be fast.
Dash usage was able to spead in Venezuela with the right strategy and partnerships. Nano can do the same especially now that Venezuelans have little options to choose from.
Crazy seeing all of the top 20 coins have dropped basically lower than the same time last year. I personally dont think that most of them will recover because they have no use. I think FLASH will be future since its undervalued and is being implemented in the real world
Even the big name coins dropped 85% to 95% from their highs in January. It's brutal. I also think only coins with real world use will be the first ones to recover once the market improves, whenever that is.

I think DOGE is a good coin, I have known for more than 3 years and often make DOGE as a trading, but the price that keeps on decreasing makes everyone impatient to continue to invest and hold DOGE for a long time.

Even though I am very much pro crypto, calculating in Satoshis doesn't always make perfect sense. You need to take into account the dollar value as long as crypto isn't ruling the world.
If you invest in crypto then the balance is reasonably considered in the investment currency.

Up to everyone of course how to do their calculations, but honestly if you calculate in crypto only but your dollar value goes down 90%, I guess it still hurts.
That's what makes investing in crypto confusing at times. Will you calculate in BTC or USD value? When prices are rising, it doesn't matter much. But when they are falling, it depends if you are a BTC person or fiat person.

A buying back of the tokens could support the price which would make investors happy.
This is similar to a buyback in the stock market where companies buy their own shares. The purpose is to keep the stock price high or because the company thinks its stock price valuation is undervalued. It could work also in crypto since the concept is the same.

1 BTC is a pretty big investment for a coin nowadays. The current market condition might not be ideal for a x5 to x10 return in just a couple of months. A coin must deliver pretty compelling features to reach that feat.
