Re: Did you know that...

It will never happen again because the way to promoting new project has changed. In the past because the cryptocurrency community is not big so it was a good way for XEM to reach more people. Now everythign has changed, more better ways to promote a project.

If it never happens again it means that those who this happened to have some sort of Legendary status indeed. It's crazy to even think that something like this has actually happened, don't you think? Smiley

Anyway I'm quite convinced that something similar will happen again or is happening right now as we speak. The main difference compared to back then is that everything has become so much more, there's just no way to keep up with everything.

When I started with crypto a few hours a day gave you a pretty good overview of everything
Agreed.
But as you said. Who could hold long enough? If i was one of them, i would sell immediately when XEM get listed. Because it's free and who would believe it can reach $1?

Yes, exactly. And you're certainly not alone, it's only natural to do it this way because everything is uncertain.

Then again the coins were free so it would have been quite smart to give it a chance and wait. Cause there was nothing to lose and extremely much to win. In fact the project seemed very promising at the time.

Here since 2013/2014?

I'm interested in asking a simple question to 2013/2014 forum members.

The question is:

Do you hold more or less BTC than back then?

I have less Grin but I have no regrets.  A lot of positive things have happened to me over the years.

To be honest in 2013 I would not have imagined that my own mother hears about Bitcoin from mainstream media in 2017, without me telling her about it. That was a huge surprise and sort of a reality check.

Did you know that...
by
ZhuldyzKaladinova
on 14/11/2018, 14:11:19 UTC
...back in the day you could post "interested" on the thread of NEM (New Economy Movement) and you received a so-called NEMstake worth 2.25 million XEM. Yes you read that right.

Some people became multi-millionaires for posting a simple "interested" on a thread - if you did manage to HODL. XEM's peak was over $1.50/XEM. Granted, not many people are able (either on purpose or by accident) to hodl for that long, in fact it's probably less than 1% of all people in crypto

So next time you feel special about your stake in a promising project, keep this in mind. Not saying that this will ever happen again (it could have been a one time thing) but never say never, right?

I remember when BCH first came to life and some folks claimed that some sort of "flippening" will happen, BTC would be dethroned etc. Just the thought of this nonsense still makes me giggle. Now watch what is happening to it. Gotta love that comedy. I love crypto for keeping me high-spirited like this.

Re: Is there hope for this year?
by

Can we expect Bitcoin and other types of coins to have good prices at the end of this year because 2018 will end. I'm starting to worry that next year will experience the same thing Sad

There's usually a bull run at the end of the year but I wouldn't count on that. The crypto world can be quite unpredictable but then again this is what makes it so utterly interesting. It's always fun to be around IMO. So worry not, the next bull run will come. Do not hope for it too hard and you might find yourself pleasantly suprised soon.

Re: Scammers on Spreadsheets
by
ZhuldyzKaladinova
on 13/11/2018, 14:12:39 UTC
Regardless of the strict rule given on bounties, scammers are increasing the more. the one I discovered recently is that hunters who are not qualify for some good bounties now use other hunters details to submit their work. when I saw this on a spreadsheet yesterday I am so surprised to see my details submitted on the same spreadsheet twice. What is really happening? Is there a way to block these scammers out?

There's money to be made here and so a lot of scammers are around indeed. Like you say, the quantity of bounty scammers has not been decreasing. The opposite is the case. Unfortunately it's very hard to keep track of participants - that's why we see harsher rules to join various campaigns as well as mandatory KYC becoming a thing. Hasn't been like that some time ago - you could just join campaigns easily. Will be interesting to see how things evolve further

Verge coin hacked again. What's wrong with those people who behind the project. They say it is a privacy coin. but still, again and again, Its being hacked. This is not good at all for a privacy coin. I have a doubt about the future of XVG now. What do you think guys. Can they recover their reputation and come back strongly?

anushkasachith888, do you have any link or something to back your claim? You know, you need to provide some sort of proof. "Verge coin hacked again" is not exactly a very informative statement in itself.

by

on 24/05/2018, 13:40:58 UTC
in your opinion which one has the chances to go high by 2020 .........

1. ethereum

2. bitcoin

Both will be high by 2020, in any case to me it's obvious that Ethereum will be the most used platform. In fact it has surpassed all the other platforms already as we speak, so keep watching Eth closely. It's one of the global crypto platforms with real adoption. I wouldn't underestimate Bitcoin either, it's the internet's new reserve currency standard now if you ask me.

2012-2014 Users, what's your altcoin wonder?
by
ZhuldyzKaladinova
on 24/05/2018, 13:38:45 UTC
there are some users that made a lot of friends and gains with one of the oldschool cryptocurrencies. For some it's NEM, for others it's Monero, etc. There are quite a few of those super gainers. If u r one of the more oldschool members of the Bitcointalk, which altcoin wonder back in the day have you been part of personally?

Listing IXCoin on a DEX/the best DEXes on the market today is awesome idea. Amongst others I think you should add it to BarterDex asap. IXC is one of the oldest coins. It deserves a lot of respect. And a lot of people will enjoy finding out about it soon.
Can you make it happen?
Help and support is always welcome. Thanks!!!!
hi deadsea33 I can do my best and I will do my best to support the X. I am not always online but when I am I am trying to use the time constructively. Is there a list of DEX' that are supported by the IX Community so I can help to apply for listing? Thanks, cheers & beers

I'm seeing a lot of good news about tron, why is the price still low?

The price of Tron is by means low, it seems to be very much inflated if you as kme. A market cap of several billion... why? I'm not too sure about that. We'll see more when the mainnet is launched.

Re: How stable is Bitcoin.
by
ZhuldyzKaladinova
on 23/05/2018, 16:51:27 UTC
Entering month of April, we are seeing the gradual increment on bitcoin's value. This leads to me this question, How stable is bitcoin? What are the factors indicating its constant movement aside from the fact that compared from the last years its value was unfathomable in a financial sense but sudden drops oppressing lots of investors. What sort of deem of hope to investors not to become disoriented and eventually selling there btc shares as its value decrease. What do you think guys?

Are you talking about price? Price is volatile. If you're talking about the tech, Bitcoin is extremely solid. One of the aspects that fascinates me most about it, even after all the years, is how solid and stable its tech is. Awesome, basically.

Seems like a big and ambitious project. From the main page : "Users can use Midas wallet to exchange ETH and ERC-20 tokens directly with DEX like Kyber Network; and soon can exchange many other cryptocurrencies and tokens like NEO, NEP-5 tokens, XLM, Stellar tokens, EOS, v.v.. with respective DEXs.". And the team is mostly from Vietnam I see?

Exactly, this is possibly the worst time to sell.

People who believe in AE and other advanced crypto platforms are certainly buying at these prices, it's very inviting. Solid entry points. In any case it's good to hold several thousand AE. It's one of the big ones.

Since they want to ID verify everyone let's demand the ID verification of them. There's not even a real photo of anyone on the site. The founder's pic is just a comic image. Seems pretty damn brazen to me to ask for IDs.
