Because to put one's faith in something/someone, means that he/she putting her trust in the person or thing. It depends. You also need to work some other things to makes your life better. Hatred has taken over almost every where in the societies in recent time whether in the family, Church, Musqe, office, play ground, school, among young and old people. Because with Bitcoin it is very possible to be able to send and get money anywhere in the world at any given time. Bitcoin can be backed up and encrypted to ensure the safety of your money. While, In transacting in merchants you gave him/her access to your full credit line but in bitcoins or cryptocurrency, you don't give them such informations in sending and getting a money.
For me, yes it's a good idea to invest in bitcoin and there's nothing suspicious about the $1 increase in just a month. Why? It even started with no value at all then goes up to only $0.003 after more or less 2 years and it's continuously going up through the years. From $0.003 it is now $4k+, i do believe it's possible to reach $10k after several years especially now that many establishment were using it as well.

I am currently running version 1.9.1 Should I update to 1.10.0 before the airdrop or could I continue using the 1.9.1 version.
I have a few GB and Blackbytes in my wallet and I am afraid I might lose them and my linked BTC wallets if I upgrade. Hope someone knows if it is safe to keep using 1.9.1 as it has been working perfectly for me all this time.

Better to go with zcash , as difficulty increases , profitability decreases.

Biggest issue is that skein has only two coins. DGB was the only coin of the 2 that could do as much as $15 a day with 1080ti but now DGB just falling because lack of development. It's all about value keeping up with difficulty. Which means the community of DGB has to grow. They can't stay stagnant forever.
I think so far, the DGB development is OK. some times, it is slow.

it depend how much is the cost, if they cost much more than a 1060 but earn more also, it's good for density, maybe they will just change the amount of cuda and redo the pcb, but that news look a bit fake too me, and just rumors, i will trust it when there will be somethign official from nvidia or amd
what they show on zcash forums and on videos as 8x nvidia gpu is very identical to what looks like a stripped down ethminer made by some Chinese company by the name PANGOLINMINER, the whole thing looks fake to me too.. I too wouldn't trust this news without something official from nvidia or amd.
The 1060 cards they showed do not have many display ports, so it might be real.

Now imagine they would actually give any control to the coin-holders.... those could then block software-updates if they don't like them, or create their own forks. What then? Ripple tells it's costumers "sorry, cryptoholders had other opinions, we can't fulfill our contract anymore"?
By design they need full control over the network.
Their business model is selling marketing BS. First to banks "hey you can use fancy blockchain-tech"... which already doesn't make any sense. They just profit from the fact that banks don't know what crypto means.
And then they sell decentralization BS to the alt buyers. Yay, double-profit.
