So I know everyone here is trying their best to grow and is really nice seeing users here putting in the work , well I create this post to help those that’s still finding it  difficult when comes to writing a thread . Most time I heard that is all about quality but most folks don’t understand the quality they are talking about even some even go to the extent thinking that long posts are what make post quality (which not actually true ) because your post can be bulky and still don’t have quality, So am gonna drop some tips .

• Always know your target audience, all post you are making there’s always a targeted reader . Just like this one is mainly those that’s still finding it difficult when comes to writing .

• Write with clarity, avoid confusing your readers and try to put it in a simpler and understandable manner .

• Always do your Research about that thing you wanna talk about before talking about it to avoid sending wrong informations or going off topic.

• And also avoid pyramid quoting , because it can affect the neatness of your post and can also discourage users from reading your posts too.

I can’t list everything myself, as I’m also a work in progress and constantly learning,  after all we grow every day. So I would love to hear from other users too. Feel free to share your own thoughts and ideas on this.

I think all you've said is absolutely correct to extent . but in addition , for one to actually make a decent post it all depends on the individual ability to make a good research on the topic that he/she wants to contribute on.However,by making research, the individual or user most develope a habit of reading and more reading.

As a Newbie, the Koko na to read o...

Re: How can one achieve Alternative method of Dispute Resolution in our society?
by
Zivudu
on 27/05/2025, 07:06:55 UTC
It's so unfortunate that nowadays people no longer settle common issues amicably without seeing the Law court as their plan "B" .

Whereas during the days of our four father's, some issues were settled traditionally even without going to court, and by the end of it all positive results were achieve.

That's true we also had similar way of resolution because our elders are always there to make sure that there is peace but those things are no longer common now because people of those days are trusted for a fair resolution than it is now because with the corruption in the society there are people you will tender a case to resolve they will manipulate it a way that will cost the both parties a lot of money. So actually taking a case to the court doesn't seem bad as you think because it will be a fair judgement considered by the evidence and one good thing about Court is that there ruling is final.

I agree with you mate,

Court rulling seems to be final. However,In a case were the person seems not satisfied with that particular judgement, the individual or group of person have every right to appeal the case in other to attain  a well satisfied justice .

But that of the traditional method, the reverse is the case, one's judgement is made ,that is final.  You don't have any right to seek else where for another judgment.

Re: The role of bank and why we still need them, or do we?
by

on 26/05/2025, 06:38:19 UTC
I see many people saying that they trust bitcoin more than they trust their banks, well it's a matter of choice anybody can choose what to trust either to trust bitcoin or to trust their banks, and many too has developed the habit of saving all their money in cryptocurrency, like bitcoin rather than putting some in the bank and putting some in bitcoin as an investment, though it's not a problem, I just want quickly remind some focks the role of Bank and why we still need them.

The role of banks
Banks play a multifaceted role in the economy, and it serve as a intermediaries between savers and borrowers, it facilitate transactions and provide financial services to individuals, companies and government.

Banks collect deposit form individuals and businesses, and then use the funds to make loans to others. This process by which banks collect deposit from individuals and businesses to make loans for others can help allocate capital efficiently in the economy.

Banks help individuals and businesses to manage risk by providing i nsurance services, investment products and other financial instruments that can mitigate potential losses.

Banks also provide a safe and convenient way to conduct transactions, such as online banking, savings account, debit card, checking, and credit card.

Banks also offer access to financial services for individuals and businesses, promoting economic growth and development.

Why we need banks
Banks play a crucial role in facilitating economic growth, by providing financial services to individuals, government and businesses.

Banks also offer a safe and secure to store and manage money deposited in Banks, by reducing risk of theft or loss.

Banks also provide a  wiide range of financial services for individuals and businesses, making it easy for them to manage their finances.

Banks are also driving Innovation in financial services, such as online lending, digital payments and mobile banking, which can as well increase financial inclusion and access to financial services.

Banks also provide loans and credit to individuals, businesses and government, enabling them to invest, grow and achieve their goals.

So my question now is with all I just said do we still need banks.

It obvious you've already given answers to your questions.

However banks yet have other severe deficiencies, accessing your money sometimes becomes a problem due to how poor their network is.then making important transaction because difficult,  it's so unfortunate how poor our our financial institutions operates

Re: Be careful of sources you get your information from!!!

Many a time, I've always insisted on the fact that most of the information we have online have a huge majority of them wrong with just a very few right. In simple terms we actually have more wrong information on the internet these days than the right ones. And the alarming thing about it is that the wrong ones are basically far more easier to access. This is the reason why many persons can't really vividly capture properly the details concerning the security of their coins.

Long story short, I got a little bored while surfing on my mobile and I decided to hit up something quite interesting on Google, and below were the results;

Now most newbies would rush into believing these without proper research. I see most of these results as ads basically come to think of it, a single open source wallet didn't pop up as part of the top 10 results.

"it's not only about doing your own research, it's about doing your own research in details"

It's quite disheartening  how fraudulent activities happens to be a norm in our immediate society nowadays. However, people should as well understand some of these internet shenanigans.

So also it's wise for one to mak critical research by using the right word while making research via Google,so as to get right information  before venturing into anything, even as a Newbie.

Anyways am glad you brought up such an interesting information

Re: Is it good to take decisions when one is angry?
by
Zivudu
on 24/05/2025, 11:26:38 UTC
It has come to my notice that 90% of all the decisions made or taken when one is angry is never a good one.

When one is upset or angry,it is encouraged that the person stay calm and try to control that moment because any actions or decisions taken at that point in time must be a negative one.

So many people who regrets their actions today are as a result of taking decisions when they are angry there by over reacting..

So bad.

Personnelly it has benefited me Positively.

But I think is of two ways actually. I could remember during my 100Lv in
the university, I was  force to stay off camp but I refuse, why, because I knew how it was going to end up as a student. But regardless of how angry I was, I now decided to stay in Hostel because I knew how helpful and how focus I will be . compared to off camp where I think distraction could have eluded me.without minding how unhappy my parents was at that time

So I think taking decision when angry is good sometimes but one has to think rationally while doing that.

It's quite unfortunate that betrayal has now become to an extent a norm in our society.

You can emerging, were brothers, Uncle, sister, etc are now fighting each other because of gread and selfishness, for example, my Home town.  How people are bearing fulse witnesses over land dispute in other to aquire land that rightly doesn't belong to them.

Sometimes it's just laughable .

Re: Is it too late for newbies?

Hello guys,
I'm happy to be part of this community, and so far I've realized that everyone is more experienced than me, so I don't know how logical it is to ask this question, but I'll ask it anyway.

Is it the right time to invest in Bitcoin?

All my friends are talking about cryptocurrencies, but I still can't wrap my head around it. What would you recommend for someone who has no previous experience? Do any of you have resources that you can recommend to me that will explain cryptocurrencies in the shortest and most simple way?

Am glad I came across such an interesting topic yours.

I think for me, even as a newbie, I still find it very difficult to wrap my head on what exactly cryptocurrency and it's investment is all about. But then again, i believe for a fact that I have found myself in a prestigious and educating community, where one can learn and perhaps make valuable research on how to  invest on" Bitcoin "

Sometime last year I hard intentions of investment, then Bitcoin was around $11k ,but because I heard zero knowledge I couldn't invest, not until i was force to make crucial research.

So I think, with this community we can make a positiive difference

I understand the reason behind your perception or decisions as a man...

It's clear to say that in this modern day of life many people, especially men are currently scard to shoulder responsibility which as a result makes them not to consider having children.some even go an extend of using protection in making love with their wife's.  Which personally I don't welcome.

But buy and large.for me, getting married and having children is ideal as a man

I totally agree with you.

Saving money is not enough, because some people nowadays do spend more than what they earn even without thinking of investment while they are working, hence it makes savings difficult .
