As I understand, an advisor is someone who you can ask questions you struggle to find an answer. Maybe you could ask this one? :-)

You will have to contact Bittrex for that. Bill is one of our advisors and investors!

We do not control the exchanges. Bill Shihara, CEO and Founder in Bittrex, is a close advisor to the company.

STORM Token will be listing on Bittrex?

There is mention on the wp that some of the ico tokens will be buyable on buttrex is that true?

wow fake news

http://tech.china.com/article/20170629/2017062936839.html

wow i bet they took this on the same day as all the other ones op you're right they just took a bus trip to all the locations and then used an insider to fool china.com into thinking they're legit holy fk wow you might be onto something wow

These stories are not on www.china.com
I understand how fake news works. You are making it look like china.com but it isn't.

I'm not trying to defend anyone and it's weird that fuddispeller registered a new account just to write in this thread, but when you open http://www.china.com/index.html, you'll see that every article from there goes into it's subdomain. Only the English version has everything on english.china.com subdomain. So news on tech.china.com seems to be legit.

I think it's good that people are questioning some uncertain facts (though probably the title should be "COULD be a scam") and it's not good that the team is deleting reddits like this and this. However, the concerns about the fake team and registrant dns don't seem to be valid.

The most valid concern is that the owners control 70% of the tokens. In fact there are 3 addresses with a huge stake. First is indeed theirs with 42.8571%, the second is Binance's address, and the third, according to them, is a big presale investor. If that's a lie, they have 56%. It's certainly something to worry about, though we've seen that in most of other projects even for Ethereum (and that invoked lots of posts like this one) and Bitcoin (4.11% of addresses own 96.53% of BTC).

They are good at marketing, but there isn't a good use case for the product. One can use shapeshift or, in future, kyber, which will give you the currency you want. However, most of coins are based on hype, and it could be worth to speculate in case it goes on a big exchange.

If you're just hodling for years then a paper wallet would be ok, otherwise it's worth buying ledger nano or trezor.

The good thing is that everything is in smart contract and the owner cannot run away with your money, but you have to spend gas for every order you fill.

i really wanted to participate this one but i was late.found soe guys on turkish section on btctalk they offering 1 to 10 comission.

for example if you wanna participate with 10 ethereum thoose guys taking 1 ethereum for themselves .what do you think? is it worth it?
How you can be sure it's not a scam, so you'll pay and get nothing? Also note that the individual cap will be about 2 ETHER. So they need about 5 approved accounts to contribute with 10 ETHER for you.

Re: [ANN] CoinDash - Operating System For Crypto Assets
by
Zoltes
on 09/08/2017, 11:09:46 UTC
CoinDash has been added to the  coinmarketcap here:  https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/coindash/  Volume is impressive for being on a small exchange and not including the volume from b8wang.com exchange.  Looking forward to seeing CDT on a higher volume exchange like Bittrex or Poloniex.

Coindash will be listed on some other exchanges in near future. Hopefully it will be including Trex and Polo.

There has been talks from the team of being listed on larger exchanges but no confirmation yet of bittrex or poloniex.  We can only hope that either one or both exchanges lists CoinDash.  Waiting anxiously for the announcement from the CoinDash team.
Ploniex doesn't list any new tokens (and the support is almost dead). It can be listed on Bittrex, but CoinDash should pay $5k for that. It would be great to list it on Bitfinex, that would increase the price significantly, and thus it will be even more motivation to hold the tokens than offered bonuses.

Hi, I had 1 BTC when I linked my account, now I have 10 BTCs, Am I going to receive bytes according these new 9btc in the next drop?
Thanks!
It will be according to all your 10 BTC. It doesn't matter if you already got some bytes in the past distributions.

I predict 1 GBYTE = 1.5BTC next month! look at supply! so low supply so expensive coin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So you're predicting that the price will rise 10x in a month, and thus market cap will be more than 2 billion, being in top 10.

There's no doubt that the tech besides Byteball is great, but that's not enough. We need an exchange like Bitfinex to list it, then we can get similar hype as for IOTA. Not sure if current cashback bonus program will gain their interest, but it's worth for devs to try.

Be careful with bittrex if you are an unverified user. They just dropped their withdrawal limit from 1BTC to 0.025 BTC without warning.

It's time to switch to https://cryptox.pl
No limit, very low fees and nice GUI.
When trading bots are active, prices are similar to Bittrex.

Yes I think I will also return to cryptox.pl after the customer support experience I just had in bittrex.

BITTREX SUCK, don't use it. They have moronic withdrawal limits and they stubbornly demand 2FA that requires you to install additional software. Their IT guy clearly is delusional and does not have an idea how to achieve information security without compromising customer experience. They require you to have a smartphone and they go absolutely draconian on any customer who refuses to buy a smartphone or use Google's products. Bittrex is done, DEAD. Was fun when it lasted but now they have messed up. Time to move on to exchanges that don't treat their customers like shit.

Are there any alternatives to google 2FA?
I mean why do we need to use google software for this?
Is there any software that can achieve 2FA without using any of the google software?!  Huh

This fucking exchanges are all pro google!
I do not want  to be tracked by them 24/7 ;(

Authy does 2FA and even more.

Re: Steemit.com: Blogging is the new Mining
by
Zoltes
on 07/08/2017, 15:09:06 UTC
Hello guys, I'm pretty new to Steem.
I read a lot about Steemit, and I have a few questions on Steem blockchain.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
So Steem is a POS coin that powered by witnesses (is that just another name for nodes?). They are verifying transactions (like on the BTC blockchain) but they also have to store all the content (accounts and posts) right? Do they need to operate hard drives like with Siacoin?
Also is all the content on Steemit stored on the Steem blockchain ? accounts, posts, comments, votes, muted accounts (I saw that you can't see on Steemit.com which users muted you but you can still see it by yourself on the blockchain right?), website url... And is it possible to delete that content or once something has been posted, i'll stay on the blockchain forever ? I mean, it can cause several problems, serious problems. What happens if someone publishes illegal content? It can be copyrighted content, like movies or music, or even worse : pedo, terrorist propaganda (lel).... I know that only text can be uploaded on Steem, pictures and videos have to be uploaded on third-party websites. But still, it's forbidden to distribute access to illegal content even if photos and videos are not uploaded on the site in question. And a .com public domain such as steemit.com can be easily seized.

Thank you in advance for enlightening me (btw maybe everything I said is retarded and I didn't understand anything at all but I had to ask you about that, it sounds very important to me lmao)

edit : Finally, I read that you can upload pictures directly on Steemit

Users upload pictures to amazon servers kept by Steemit Inc., which I guess could block copyrighted and illegal content (e.g. steemit is centralized). However, you are right that Steem blockchain is immutable, nothing can be deleted unless there's a hard fork for that. Besides steemit.com there are other apps and sites which use Steem blockchain, like busy.org.

All those are valid concerns, but it's valid for most of other blockchains as well. What if someone will publish some illegal content via an Ethereum contract?

Transactions sent to any fraudulent address after our website was shut down will not be compensated.
I guess they mean "any other address than was shown on the site before". As the transaction isn't executed immediately, so lots of them were after the site was shut down.

Agree that it was one of the worst managed icos (and the lack of the communication now make it even worse), but I don't think it was scam. They could just increase the cap and would raise the same amount without devaluating their coins.
