The striking thing about COVA is their not wanting to do a public sale, I am looking to see how this pans out because with such a good project I am expecting a total sell out during public sale and got presented with this strategy instead.
They are smart in that aspect. Market is not good at all. Why to waste going to market with their token sales and reduce the value of their own tokens? Smart move by the COVA team.
You are right mate. Under these conditions, it is not the best move to enforce the ICO. I think this is a good decision from Cova.
Currently, there is a risk in everything, especially in the area of investments, when there are many scammers around. You need to check everything carefully before investing.

I guess everyone is waiting for a big announcement. Something Exciting to make everyone ask question about the project, I think the team should come up with an Announcement.
We were all waiting for the MVP so hoping that would be announced soon. From the talks with the admins in telgram the mvp was executed according to schedule my only guess for the delay is something to do with compliance?
Just been to TG, they mentioned few security related things pending and MVP is ready to use.
When it comes to compliance and security related delay could take some time to sort out. With SEC showing an increasing interest in crypto, I think ONAM team should be watch their steps, and get it right.
That It is a positive sign that the MVP is ready and that ONAM will release it soon. I hope that the team can fix the security-related problems soon.
I'm so excited that COVA has successfully earned a listing on Huobi through their competition program. This is a massive step forward for COVA, this will really help them establish themselves as a top blockchain project. Access to hundreds of thousands of users and millions of $ worth of volume.
I hope the listing will take place soon. I really want to buy tokens as early (and as cheap) as possible. I think in a few years I can benefit greatly from it

That is a good point. The crypto market is very uncertain and chaotic right now, nobody knows what will happen next. Therefore the hesitation of Cova is understandable.
In my opinion, Tachain is a great project and it can be a pioneer in combining advertising and transport. With the discussion about the money-back guarantee, you get the impression that the project has already failed. I'm still optimistic that Tachain will be successful.

Well, that's really sad. The ICO is running till the 21st of December. It would've been good to have the MVP as early as possible so that as many potential investors can try it out and so get convinced about the exchange and their investment.

Any reasons why it was postponed? I was talked to one of the admins on the release date and told me it is few hours away. then i read that it was postponed.
I heard that they have some issues regarding KYC procedures, but this wasn't verified by any of the Admins. I think we have to wait until an official announcement.

yeah, 2019 is gonna be crazy because SEC are trying to bring in some kind of regulations so that institutional investors can safely invest in cryptocurrency

I don't see regulation so negatively. It protects investors against fraud. There are so many Scam projects, that harm the entire crypto industry.

Yeah. They are one of the scarce dependable projects one can find these days. the voting competition was just a test of their capacity and their ability to really deliver if given the chance.
I think their project is brilliant, there is a lot of technical knowledge behind COVA. They have gone about their development and marketing in a very professional way, I think a lot of people will be interested in learning more about their project and see how it can improve the conventional internet protocol.
I have the feeling that COVA is still so underrated. Well, the listing on Huobi will definitely help to increase the publicity but a demo or a public testnet would be the best to attract even more people.
For me, Covalent is actually one of the most promising projects. If I calculated it right, the hardcap is approx $23 million, which is not a huge amount for a project like Cova.

To be honest, I would prefer not to get any money back and the Tachain project is such a great success, that it is not necessary to make use of the Money-back program.

These moves from SEC will add confidence to Investors as it will help removing scams, keeping control over ICOs. These ICOs can't run away just like it happened in the past.
This is correct, but keep in mind that the SEC regulations only affect the US citizens and projects registered in the US.

I shall believe that the future of Trading on blockchain technology will surpass all that are not related to blockchain.
I would expect in few years time, a Blockchain technology based exchange that would pass on SEC rules and would allow trading of not just digital currencies but stocks.
It should have an advantage to the older exchanges.
This is a big task or vision and it all depends on if the blockchain is accepted as we all know the government don't support anything they cannot promote.
Hopefully they will soon realize the power of blockchain and give their support toward it!
Yea, that's what they made the public to believe but behind close doors, government officials are the ones actually patronizing the industry, identities can not be tracked when it comes to blockchain, so they see it as a means to migrate funds without been traced, the whole thing is just bigger than any of us but i intend to see the industry put to good use

Big +ve point is, blockchain provides seamless , faster means for cashless economy, this is good to keep up real currencies.
Big -ve point is, seamless transfers to illegal activities too could take place, and on larger level, could impact real currency of impacting country.

Good point. KYC is important to avoid illegal transaction/to stop money laundering cases. Without KYC it's impossible to control bad play.
Agree. Blockchain is future, but there should be some mechanisms to stop illegal activities/transactions. For now KYC seems to be enough to keep track of illegal activities.
I think KYC is mandatory for most ICO's and it is necessary because of regulations. For most exchanges, it is also a must to prevent tax fraud. Therefore it is no problem for me to do KYC for ONAM.

Guys, the initial plan was to release the MVP at the end of November. Yes, they promised to deliver it earlier but it seems now that some unexpected delay is happening. But we are basically still in time. I'm sure we'll get it very soon.
That is correct, according to their roadmap the release of the MVP was planned for November. They want to release it a bit earlier, but they have some unpredictable problems. ONAM is still in plan and we have to wait a few days.
It is a great video interview and you get a good overview of the Tachain project. The COO explains the different possibilities of advertising and transport. I follow Tachain for some months, but I don't think that it is a riskfree investment.

Tachain is really giving good opportunities to earn up to 10$/hour by watching targeted ads and even offering good discounts for public transportation which is really impressive.

According to the progress bar on the ICO website, ONAM is about to reach the softcap. One of the admins in Telegram stated, that there are some orders not included due to the KYC process. I would say, that they hit the softcap soon.

The team mentioned early on that they are officially registered in the UK and that their operations will not be bound to the UK along. They will be managing the mining facility from Iceland; They have their eyes on a location with a good electricity pricing. however they need to suffice the softcap to be able to do this (3.8 mil I guess)
Iceland is good location for mining facility. Don't know about electricity rate but I hope Minedblock will be doing negotiations with electricity provider.

I honestly don't know the prices for electricity in Iceland, but the climate should be perfect for a mining facility. Some other mining companies have their facilities in northern Scandinavia and the conditions must be perfect.
