by

There more than dozens of scam new projects getting listed on coinmarketcap every week be careful, if I have any money now I will invest it into a more established project like Terra Luna out of few good coins out there.

Integrated GPUs have advantage of using lower power consumption but coins can't be mined with them anymore because of high difficulty, I remember in 2010 where you can mine BTC with pentium4 CPU but this days the chances are limited, a discrete GPU is better.

Gold and BTC can be use as real store of value if you want to keep them for long term but for quick spending stable coin is a good alternative still you need to choose the right stable coin, I prefer BUSD it's centralized but more transparent than USDT.

XEC is a good altcoin to mine and hold but if you are still on the path of getting your ROI from your rig it's better to keep mining Ethereum and use part of your 24hrs payout to buy few XEC, do this everyday and your XEC will grow and you will still be able to make money on ETH.

Re: Scammers aren't playing around, get serious with your money

...the lesson I've learnt is if I have to do invest in such projects the team must not be anonymous.
Bitcoin's founder was and remains anonymous. But that's because the idea and protocol is so good, we don't need to know the name of the creator. An anonymous team or an individual doesn't necessarily mean the project is bad and is a scam. Unfortunately, many are today because they are centralized, pre-mined, and tokens created from thin air meant to enrich those who minted them.
And this is why new projects dev are escaping arrests when they scammed their investors, anonymity has been used in so many fraudulent ways and nothing was done about it, just because BTC Dev remain anonymous and the project works as intended doesn't mean others have same aim as Nakamoto.

I don't think so, once ETH is out of the picture miners won't be able to make sensible profits anymore, this will be the time that many will quit mining and sell their GPU, where do you think that all those ETH hashrate will go? This will tank mining profits.

I am planning to invest 5000usd every month into crypto for next 3 years . So please suggest me which coins to buy how much. I am not a risky trader or investor i want to play a safe game as much as possible
If truly you want to play a safe game as much as possible then go with the biggest boys around like BNB, ETH and BTC, if you want more then go with smart contract projects e.g Polkadot, Terra Luna and Solana.

I won't spend money on any micro ATX motherboards because they are like 10years old or something, the chance of having issues here and there is high why not buy newer motherboards for like 100$ to 150$ ?? Its not as if they are too costly like GPU, use better components to build mining rigs.

I only have 1% NFT in holding while the 99% are on BTC ETH and few other ALTs I'm not a NFT believer even the little I have are play 2 earn in game NFTs, I prefer metaverse coins over NFTs they just don't make much sense to me.

Re: Using AWS to mine coin possible?
by

Whatever this person is doing I don't think it's legit, maybe he have access to aws accounts illegally because renting cloud services is pretty costly and not profitable for mining if it's profitable many will be using cloud base rigs.

You are talking about freedom using binance exchange for an example which is a centralized platform? That's no freedom mate only dex, defi and p2p platforms performs the real decentralization.

Re: Crypto wallets surpassed banks already but you need to know this
by
Zotak337
on 02/03/2022, 12:22:57 UTC
wallets like the following shouldn't be on your list

1. Freewallet

FYI, there are 2 wallet with very similar name. The one who should avoid is "Freewallet", which can be found at freewallet[dot]org. The other one is "FreeWallet" which located at https://freewallet.io/. While it's open source, there aren't many people who use it, so IMO it shouldn't your primary option.
I never knew there is another wallet sharing the name "freewallet" that's actually open source, if I knew the Dev from day one I would have stopped home because that name is almost ruined, many people are denied of their assets on freewallet (oldy)

That's your own thought mine is different, I hope you aren't trying to get into the FOMO because this looks like bull trap, crypto is good for storing funds than using Fiat for real the chances that are Ukrainian would have converted their money into crypto is low, if your claim is true crypto should have pumped before the war started.

I don't get, what's the meaning of 'remember your bitcoin password' do BTC need password to operate or its talking about bitcoin wallet? Even if it's about the wallet well that sounds like a centralised wallet that ask for email and Password to log in.

Visit helium website and read what it's all about yourself, I can't buy one of those miners because it's not supported in my country, it's more like a miner that works better if there are other helium miners in same location with you, honestly this is a turn off for me.

This type of projects brings fast money if you know your ways but not advisable for newbies, some projects only deserve your money for few weeks and take instant profits once you see their volume increasing, it's why I made much money from meme coins this year, I knew they are not good but still invest and take profits asap.

You have nothing to worry about, most Vega 56 I've seen mining on YouTube are hashing away at 60+ temp and 70+ on mem temp this is how an HBM2 memory is supposed to work.
