Re: Get Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant.
by
Zubayer
on 29/01/2023, 11:14:25 UTC
I guess this is a strategy for someone who wants to invest on Bitcoin for a long term but is scared of waiting  for too long.
So many persons will want to invest on Bitcoin for a long term  but they end up find it difficult to have the patience on their investment and wants an instant shoot up of Bitcoin price,in other for them to sell and make profit, they end up been disappointed when it doesn't go as they wanted it since they don't understand the cyclic movement of Bitcoin. They end up procrastinating they will invest and some that have already invested will get fustrated when Bitcoin is in it bear market by selling their bitcoin.
My suggestion to these set of people is that we should invest on Bitcoin for our children from infantry to teenage. In my country people starts planing for the future of their children from the moment the child is put to bed. Family and well wishers gives money to the child when they come to visit the new born baby to express their happiness for what God has done. Some parents the moment they give birth to a child they open a bank account for the child so that every month from their income they put some fraction of money to the child's account. Some money been given to the child during his birthday celebrations and other ceremonies or visit they always put it into the child's account in other to secure the child's future.
When this child becomes a teen in high school this money must have accumulated to a reasonable amount which is used to support the child to either further his education, start up a trade or learn a skill. Fiat currency is fast depreciating because of inflation, why don't you buy Bitcoin Holdings for your child from infant and do all his savings in Bitcoin so that by the time the child becomes a teenager,  Bitcoin price might have hit $500k and above. This way you can have a long term holdings in Bitcoin.
What is your opinion on my suggestion, is it a guarantee for the child's future and will  enable you to benefit from Bitcoin ?
  Grin

My opinion on your suggestion is that investing in Bitcoin for your child's future could be a good idea, but it's not a guarantee for their future. Bitcoin is a volatile asset and its price can fluctuate dramatically. It's important to understand that the future value of Bitcoin is uncertain and no one can predict its exact value in the future. However, investing in Bitcoin for a long term could be a good strategy if you are willing to bear the risk of price fluctuations. It's important to educate yourself on the risks involved in investing in cryptocurrencies and to always have a diversified investment portfolio. Additionally, it's always a good idea to consult a financial advisor before making any investment decisions.

Re: Success in finance and investment is a journey of finding your true self
by
Zubayer
on 26/01/2023, 11:42:24 UTC
It is true that some people are able to invest a significant amount of time and energy into activities such as video games and find it enjoyable, while others may not find the same level of enjoyment in activities such as financial investment and trading. However, it is important to note that different people have different interests and passions, and what may be enjoyable and motivating for one person may not be the same for another.

It is also worth noting that the skills and habits that are developed through activities such as gaming can be transferable to other areas of life, such as financial investment and trading. For example, the ability to focus and stay motivated for long periods of time, to set and achieve goals, and to analyze and make decisions based on data, are all skills that can be applied to financial investment and trading.

That being said, it's not fair to say that only the successful crypto whales have learned to treat investment and finance like a video game, as it's not only about the way you perceive it but also about the knowledge, strategies, and experience you have. Moreover, it's not a matter of turning investment and finance into something fun and enjoyable, but rather it's about developing the interest and passion for it, which takes time and effort.

In conclusion, being successful financially isn't only about trying to be a different person from who you are, but it's also about understanding yourself, your strengths, and weaknesses and learning to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and interest to achieve your financial goals.

Re: US Gov. on the brink of defaulting, + National Debt Clock
by
Zubayer
on 26/01/2023, 11:39:19 UTC
Today you may have read about a global economy-devastating possibility of a US government default (and everything they are doing to raise the debt ceiling), but have you seen this national debt clock?

https://www.usdebtclock.org/

It's just mind blowing.

I mean I just started writing this post a few minutes ago, and the national debt is already up by several million dollars!

Yes, the national debt clock provides a real-time visual representation of the United States' national debt and its growth over time. The clock updates regularly and displays the current debt, as well as the debt per citizen and the debt as a percentage of GDP.

The national debt has been growing for decades and is a complex issue with multiple contributing factors, including government spending, economic conditions, and tax policies. The US government has been taking measures to raise the debt ceiling, which is the limit on the amount of debt that the government can legally accumulate. The government has reached the debt limit multiple times in recent years and has been taking measures to temporarily raise the debt limit in order to continue borrowing money to pay its bills.

The debt ceiling and government default is a serious concern, as it could have a devastating impact on the global economy, and it's important to note that the US debt is not only a problem for the US citizens but also for the entire global economy.

It's important to note that government debt can have both positive and negative effects on the economy, the level of debt that a country can sustain depends on its economic health, and the ability to service the debt, which is the capacity to pay interest and principal on the debt.

It's worth keeping an eye on the debt clock and to be informed of the measures being taken by the government to address the debt, as well as the potential risks and impacts on the economy.

Re: I want to Mine Bitcoin
by
Zubayer
on 26/01/2023, 11:36:28 UTC
The best mining machines or graphics cards for mining Bitcoin will depend on several factors, including the current mining difficulty, the cost of electricity, and the current price of Bitcoin.

Currently, the most efficient and powerful mining machines on the market are the ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) miners. These specialized machines are specifically designed for mining Bitcoin and are much more efficient than general-purpose computers or graphics cards. Some popular models of ASIC miners include the Antminer S19, the Antminer S19 Pro, and the Bitmain S17.

In terms of graphics cards, the most powerful options for mining Bitcoin are the Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 series, which are built with the latest technology and offer high computational performance. They are also energy-efficient and generate less heat, which is important in a mining rig.

It's important to note that the mining difficulty and the price of Bitcoin are constantly changing, so what may be the best mining machine or graphics card today may not be the best option in the future. Additionally, it's worth considering the cost of electricity, as mining Bitcoin requires a significant amount of power, which can significantly increase the overall cost of mining.

As for the Masternodes, it's a different type of mechanism of participation in the network, and it requires a different set of requirements, such as a dedicated server and a certain amount of cryptocurrency to be locked as collateral. It's also important to mention that Masternode is not a way to mine cryptocurrency but a way to participate in the network and earn rewards.

In conclusion, it's recommended to research the current market conditions, the costs, and the benefits of each option before making a decision, and to have a clear understanding of the long-term prospects of the mining or running masternodes.

Re: BTCrecover help
by
Zubayer
on 26/01/2023, 11:26:49 UTC
hi i have try BTCrecover and ill follow example, but is possible try to hack myself if i have only 5 seed on 12?
how can i lock my seed in the script?
It is possible to use a tool like BTCrecover to attempt to recover a lost or forgotten wallet passphrase, but the success of the recovery will depend on several factors, including the complexity and length of the original passphrase, the number of seed words you have, and the specific method used to generate the seed.

If you have only 5 out of the 12 seed words, it may be difficult to recover the full passphrase, as there are many possible combinations of seed words that could be used to generate the passphrase. However, it is still worth trying, as there is a chance that the recovery tool can successfully guess the missing seed words based on the words you have.

As for locking your seed in the script, you could use encryption to protect the seed from unauthorized access. This way, only someone with the decryption key would be able to access the seed. It's important to use a strong encryption method and to store the decryption key in a secure location.

Additionally, it is recommended to use a hardware wallet to store your private keys, which are considered the most secure way to hold your crypto assets. Hardware wallets are designed to protect your private keys and seed words from theft, hacking and other types of attacks.

Also, it's crucial to note that attempting to recover a lost passphrase or private key through hacking or guessing is not only a bad practice but also illegal in many jurisdictions, it's highly recommended to use official or well-vetted libraries or tools to access or manage the private keys and never share your seed words or private keys with anyone.

Re: Get encrypted private keys from wallet.dat
by
Zubayer
on 26/01/2023, 11:23:37 UTC
The process of searching for and extracting encrypted private keys from a wallet file can be complex and requires a deep understanding of the file format and encryption methods used.

In the case of Bitcoin, the private keys are stored in an encrypted format known as the Wallet Import Format (WIF). The private key is encrypted using a passphrase, and the resulting encrypted key is then stored in the wallet file.

To extract the encrypted private keys, you would need to search the wallet file for the specific bytes that indicate the start of an encrypted private key. The exact bytes will depend on the encryption method used and the specific wallet software.

Once you have identified the start of an encrypted private key, you can then move forward in the file to extract the bytes that make up the key. The length of the key will also depend on the encryption method used and the specific wallet software.

It's worth mentioning that searching for the private key by bytes is not a recommended practice, as the format and structure of the wallet files may change with a different versions of the software or with different wallets. Also, it's crucial to have a good understanding of the encryption method and its implementation to avoid leaking private keys or compromising security.

Additionally, attempting to extract private keys from a wallet file without proper knowledge and understanding of the encryption methods used can result in the loss of access to your funds. It's highly recommended to use official or well-vetted libraries or tools to access or manage the private keys.

Re: Split blockchain download in different devices
by
Zubayer
on 26/01/2023, 11:21:38 UTC
Let's say you have 3 drives X Y Z

X has 100 GB of free space you would be ok using for the blockchain
Y has 300 GB
Z has 100 GB

Would it be possible to tell the client, "allocate 100GB to X, 300GB to Y, 100GB to Z" and have the files downloaded and verified in the right order?
And you could just keep adding further drives in case you ran out of space. Right now if you run out of space you have to buy a bigger device that allows at least 500GB at least once in case you used pruned mode, but for someone that wants to keep the entire blockchain this would be good. It would also give some usage for smaller drives you don't use much.

It is technically possible to tell a client to allocate specific amounts of storage space to different drives and have the blockchain files downloaded and verified in the correct order. This could be done by specifying the file paths for each drive when configuring the client, and then using a script or program to ensure that the correct files are being downloaded and verified on each drive.

However, it's important to note that managing the storage space across multiple drives in this way can be complex and may require a significant amount of technical knowledge. It would also require the use of a client that has this functionality built-in or can be configured to work in this way.

Additionally, it's important to note that keeping the entire blockchain requires a significant amount of storage space, and even with multiple drives, it may not be practical for some users. For users that want to keep the entire blockchain, it may be more cost-effective to invest in a larger drive or a storage solution specifically designed for this purpose.

Also, it's worth to mention that different blockchain client software have different requirements and capabilities for storage, and not all of them may support this type of configuration.

Re: Genesis Bankrupt, Impact on BTC?
by
Zubayer
on 26/01/2023, 11:18:54 UTC
It's difficult to predict the exact impact that the potential bankruptcy of a single firm, such as Genesis, would have on the price of Bitcoin. However, in general, news of a company filing for bankruptcy can cause uncertainty and volatility in the market, which may lead to a temporary decrease in the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. However, it's important to note that the crypto market is highly speculative, and individual events or news may not have a long-term impact on the price of Bitcoin.

As for your question on whether to sell or hold, it ultimately depends on your investment strategy and risk tolerance. Some investors may choose to sell a portion of their portfolio in anticipation of a potential price drop, while others may choose to hold and ride out any short-term volatility. It's important to remember that cryptocurrency is a highly speculative investment and past performance is not indicative of future results. Therefore, always make sure to do your own research, consult with a financial advisor before making any investment decisions and never invest more than you can afford to lose.

Re: Big money bad for bitcoin in the long run
by
Zubayer
on 26/01/2023, 11:16:58 UTC
The community's take on the role of large investors in the cryptocurrency market can vary. Some argue that the influx of big money can drive up prices and create a speculative bubble, while others argue that it brings legitimacy and stability to the market. Additionally, some believe that large investors can have a negative impact on the market by using their significant resources to manipulate prices, while others believe that they can help to increase liquidity and improve the overall health of the market. Ultimately, the impact of large investors in the cryptocurrency market will depend on the specific actions of these investors and the regulatory environment in which they operate.

Well said but you know that in every sector in the word have two different side. Positive and negative, if you want to use bitcoin for some good reason in this pandemic that's good. But you can also use bitcoin in dark word. By the way people can do a bad thing without bitcoin in this pandemic, bitcoin help people to payment and it can keep you in home in this pandemic. Stay home stay safe and use bitcoin in a good purpose.
