Both ways are more lucrative if you hold BTC when prices are low and sell when prices are high definitely you earn good return.If market is red and price of BTC is low and you buy it and wait for time when prices get high you sell it its also very beneficial

Because BTC carries highest ROI in crypto world thats why many people are crazy to go for BTC.After long time now BTC price is going up again and confidence of people is restored and bullish period is about to set.
Bitcoin prices have rebounded to over $ 7400 today with large volume trading. Normally, bitcoin prices will increase sharply at the end of the year and this year will be no exception, a lot of good news has been released and the movement of the market is very positive. If nothing changes I believe the bitcoin price at the end of this year will continue to peak as many people expect.
Yep after one month gap finally BTC cross $7k today and certainly in upcoming few months price will increase tremendously.Today confidence level of many potential investors restored as BTC has started showing upward tendency from today.
I saw here on bitcointalk forum mostly people ask what will happen with bitcoin in future? or Bitcoin in Future? I must say here to clear them one thing That BITCOIN is FUTURE. And we will see bitcoin ruling world very soon.

Agree.BTC is the market champion for last eight months since BTC is down the whole crypto market is down and not fully recovered. Its mean entire crypto market is fully dependent upon BTC behavior. Crypto is useless without BTC.
How are you handling your portfolio? How much are risking in % of your portfolio in short term gain vs. Long term gain?
I think short term investment is more risky compared to long term because if you commit a minor mistake you may lose your money.Short term investment carries profit on daily basis if you trade skillfully.If you have selected solid coins based on some constructive project and plan to hold them for long term then you can earn handsome profit when prices are high.
I knew about crypto at the end of 2017, after a short time increase and make people crazy to invest, everything is down now. I'm not a trader, i'm just a holder, but i'm still afraid of the sign of market recently. Will everything be changed in next year? or several years later? Can i still invest in crypto?
Yes i still think that the future of crypto is bright because new featured project are coming out from crypot which are also contributing to other walks of life.I think in coming times crypto would thrive.Current dip period is temporary and bullish period will start soon.Dont be so panic.
Currently BTC prices have been hovering at 6000, and if the BTC prices fell to $5000, $4000 should be not far off, the market is confirmed in the bear market, want to rise to $20000, you may need a couple of years. 
No BTC will not reach to this level as this will be the extreme crash level and still there are so many BTC investors.If BTC reach to this price level then whole market will crash,which i think will not happen at all.

Market is full of many coins many are scams so always be careful whilst selecting a coin because you may lose your money.Select those coins which are based upon some innovative features and are constantly supported by developers.These coins will survive for a long time and you can hold them till the price hike.Altcoins like ETH,NEO,ADA,BCH,EOS are worth investment.
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?
BTC is still king and will remain king for coming few years.ETH no doubt having innovative smart contract feature but still can not surpass BTC now but in future if ETH is bringing some more updated innovative feature then BTC can be overthrown.

Long term investment is always fruitful but it depend upon your investment strategies.If you have invested in a very strong based project and you think that in future the certain project would go up and would also be supported by community then long term investment is preferable but if you have mistakenly selected shit coin and willing to hold it for long term then you may pose to lose your investment.So always make the best selection.
The market has realized most of these coins are worth nothing and the promoters have no intention of developing the ecosystems
Yes coins which do not have anything to deliver,just hype would soon vanish.Coins which are not continuously backed by developers are worthless.So always select those coins which are having some productive/innovative feature and may contribute to community as well otherwise would crap very soon.

Honestly speaking i earned a huge profit from Bitcoin and still i am holding my BTC and some other solid coins in my crypto portfolio.Currently Bitcoin price is very low but still i am in profit.Other profitable coins are ETH,BCH,LTC,XRP,NEO.
Crypto world is in crysis now and it's not only due to red market but also because of tons of scam ICOs. And that pisses a lot of bounty hunters off cause scam ICOs produce useless unworthy tokens! People waste sometimes several months to participatein bounty and either get no tokens or get shitcoins.

If authentic bounty campaign is selected then i think its not wastage of time but good source of passive income.I have joined lot of bounty campaigns and earned handsome amount other than my regular job.But always be cautious while selecting bounty because if you have selected scam bounty then all your efforts will go useless.I conclude that bounty are best passive income.
is it a gambling habit that you invest more than 10k? most people that are into crypto are working and taking classes at the same time. only to take loans for school to put into crypto. should you invest more than 10-30k dollars worth of crypto? back then people are investing only 1,000 to 5,000 into bitcoin. how serious is crypto. back than i hear people opening 2nd loans from their homes. but now it has quiet down a bit.
Yup you can invest more than $10k but you have to enter with complete workout and proper planning otherwise you may lose your entire payment.There is a great charm in crypto.Always study a lot about crypto,ups and down is common,dont be panic with it.Your trading strategies matter a lot.Always choose the best collection,then you would be able to get your desired ROI.

I will strongly recommend to invest in ETH because ETH is the most stable and reliable altcoin.ETH community is increasing on daily basis. Many ICO are using ETH platform to dispense their tokens.Many renowned project are based on smart contract features.In coming few months ETH price will increase very much invest now and hold it.
I am starting to loose hope in Bitcoin. Like really i need to cash out and for me its on its lowest... 
Dont be despondent as ups and down is common in crypot.i have been facing this condition for last 2-3 years and for me its ok.I would hold my investment and cash out when market is in bullish trend.Market was bit better when this thread was posted.Currently market is severely red and its better to hold your investment rather than to sell.

XRP is centralized currency and is used for payment transfer.XPR investors are also increasing day by day.XRP has partnership with many corporations but despite all of this it can not reach to $100 in coming years.XRP is overpriced and is manipulated by bankers only.XRP is good for day trading not suitable for long term trading.
I am having trouble to decide which coins i should invest in and it seems ETH is one of the most successful coins right no.

Its always good to invest in ETH because its the only stable coin and reliable coin in Altcoins.Despite huge market crash,ETH did not fall down to crash level.Presently ETH is undergoing some technical improvements,once these are done then transactions speed per second would increase with less fee.If this happen then price of ETH would increase tremendously.So buy ETH now and hold it for coming few months.

Yes i believe in crypto for a long time and i have been holding my coins for last one year despite market red condition still i am going in profit from my investment and waiting for time when prices will up then i would think to sell my investment.People who are still holding Bitcoin since 2014 are still in high profit regardless of the Bitcoin current price.I believe in crypto because it introduces new technologies like block chain,smart contract which are contributing the other projects than crypto.
