S9 11th and R4 reappeared as sold out items on bitmain.
Next step, they will probably un-grey, prepare your coins...if you got 'em..
...or pay the draconian 4% coinbase CC fee
I pass.

These were the same batch numbers they had mid-November.  I hope they are coming out with another batch soon.  Getting mighty cold around these parts and the better half complains about the garage being cold.  Would make a great Christmas present for her, right?   Grin

Looks like the R4 is back up for sale.  Wonder if another S9 round is coming?  Usually they announce these things, don't they?

Any idea what's in this one?

New firmware released today.  Not sure if it's the same as what came with Batch 16/17 or if newer (has the same date).  Description says "This package can make startup faster." fwiw

That is interesting how it works on all batches. anyone try it yet?

Installed and it did seem to start up quicker (< 2 minutes in my case).  Still has the oscillating fan speeds and no way to control.

Still don't have any shipping on my first order.
Ordered: 2015-08-30 13:02:57
Confirmed: 2015-08-30 14:03:30

Let alone my second order.
Ordered: 2015-09-18 16:27:23
Confirmed: 2015-09-18 16:41:31

Hopefully that means they are testing and going to make certain I get fully functional units but I'm leaving town next week.  My luck they'll show up the day after I leave and I'll miss out on at least 5 more days of mining.   Cry

How about just adding a couple of these splitters to the single PCI-e cables that come with the suggested EVGA power supply.  Problem solved and they are less than $4.

I wait until someone publishes a hack, so I can produce some dust on another pool...

yeah, $3 in a year

lol totally not even worth it.. but I do wish we could use CK solo pool instead, then set up another mining group like Phil had with the sidehack sticks

They'd have to bring down the price to about $2 for the same breakeven you get on the S7.  Now maybe if they'd throw a few more chips in there (an even dozen?) and keep it at the same price...  Wink

You can't buy the router(s) unless you buy one cable....

Are you sure?  It lets me add to cart without the adapter.

What kind of plug comes standard on the R1?  Any other sources for the US adapter since it's sold out on Bitmain?

Sold out of US power adapters for the R1, I was going to buy five and leave them around the house and work. How can you run out of the adapter.....

What kind of plug comes standard on the R1?  Are there other places to buy the adapter?

I've got an order from 8/30 and another from 9/18.  Neither has shipped yet and now they are saying they will be shipping batch 2 & 3 beginning 10/15?  And taking a week off!!!  Huh

I really hope they have some amazing packers that can get my orders all shipped off tomorrow before they go on holiday.

new miner, my chains are 11 degrees apart in temp.

any solution to this? my other s5 is only 3-4 degrees apart.

think this might be my power supply cutting power. the other one just did the same thing after I moved cables around. gonna lower the frequency settings see if it helps stabilize it. my outlet is telling me i was using 1207 watts with both at the stock 350m. good thing i have a 1600w psu on the way

What brand/model is your new PSU?   It's not so much the watts in some cases but the quality of the PSU.

Sadly cheap PSU's can cause problems.

It is an evga supernova 1300. I have an evga supernova 1600w titanium rated psu arriving today. i have the miner that drops in hashrate underclocked to 325 and it appears to stabilize. at 350m one of the blades intermitently lowers in temp to about 30c and my total Hashrate goes down to 500-700gh. im not getting any errors though. so my thought is that it may not be getting enough power, whoch would explain the temp/hashrate decrease. Im not an electrical engineer so im just guessing...I put in a ticket with bitmain and they want me to take the damn thing apart. and redo the thermal paste.

It's not a bad idea if you know which blade is hotter I woould start with that one.   You might just fix it in only one breakdown.

Best news is you have their consent to do it so does not void your warranty.  And I'm sure they will help you out.  If this does not fix it they will give another good suggestion.

Sucks to go through troubleshooting, but they are a good team to work with.  If in China or US you can easily call them and talk to them about the problem.

The weird thing is the blade that is lower in temp is the one that drops in temp to 31c and is probably not hashing full speed. the other blade stays around 60c.

50 - 60 c is nothing out of ordinary on running temp.  With it being summer it's hotter in a lot of places aswell.

When it get's in 30's I would guess it is wrong unless very cold ambiant.  I would do the thermal paste on that blade first.  I'm hoping you can fix it with only one blade needing redone.

Ill do the thermal paste after i get my new power supply today. I want to make sure its not my power supply. Thanks for the info.

If its psu then its broken or something
my evga 1300 working great with 2 antminers s5. So i cant imagine yours cant handle one miner
(edit) i see u r running two antminers too.... so just try only with that nonworking so u will see if its psu or not
If its gonna work with one then maybe u r splitting cables wrong Tongue
that one with 2 pcies should go to 2 boards not only one so its like 1 and half cable for one board

I have one that started doing the same thing.  After much troubleshooting with Bitmain, we determined it was the controller.  Each board worked fine by themselves but when both were attached to the controller, board 2 would always stop hashing (showed very similar to your pictures except my hashrate was around 500).  Hooked both boards to a different controller and no more issues.  Hoping to get Bitmain to send me a new board without having to send in my old one first.  Want to keep hashing with at least one board if possible.

Ok I use to easily shh into my s4. I use putty shh in then type user and go on to type in my password. I know I'm typing it right but it keeps saying access denied.  Huh

I also have a p2pool public node running http://www.p2pool.org/
Can anyone confirm its up Northeastern USA
Dont have to mine if you dont want to just want to confirm that its up
url=http://10.0.0.251:9332
worker= YourBitcoinAddress/+#  #=difficulty
password=any
Keep track of stats here northeastnode.ddns.net

It would be mighty hard to hit your node since that is on a private address space and not accessible to the outside world.
