I just lost 22 btc with the blackjack. Bets of 0.5 and 1 btc, always one of these bets, no martingale bullshit. About 2 hours later I am down to 0. You can clearly see the lag when the dealer is about to show his second card. Shouldhave pulled out when I was down to 10btc. Never seen an online blackjack where the dealer busts that little. And when you have 20, you better prepare for a lagspike and see the dealer hit 21, no matter what his starting card.

 STAY AWAY CLEARLY

Blackjack house edge calculated at 0.51208%. To put it in words for those not too familiar with BJ. If you stick to the proper reactions in any given situation (blackjack chart, odds,..), you will win 0,4948792 of the time. With a minbet of 0.000001 and maxbet of 0.1btc, the range is quite large, which makes the Martingale betting strategy attractive. And the interface handily plays into that Wink Read up on martingale though, as it is a trap that makes you win bit by bit, till you lose it all Smiley

The BJ, which I play the msot runs very smooth I must say. One little tip I would give is to display the number value of your hand a little bigger or maybe on the right of the cards. It will improve speed of playing, especially on the soft hands Wink

With all the lag and payments issues we've been seeing in CSC pools my Dev partner and I have decided to get our own pool running on our server. We expect it to have enough power to operate without any lag. This post marks our soft launch and we invite anyone to come try out the water. If things are going well we will move into a full launch and begin marketing the pool and pursuing further development. We have a lot of plans to continue developing the pool with new coins, and custom features we have yet to see in any other pool. To start, we're just sticking to a basic pool structure to get things rolling and make sure it all works properly.

MooPool.com
Estimated capabilities: 500MH/s (To be upgraded if needed)
VARDIFF
Prop Pool
5% Fee to help cover server costs, and full time development.
0% Fee For First 24 Hours After Launch! (Till 3:00PM EST 12/16/13!)
(We will be adding features to reduce this fee per user, down to 0%!)

just started mining here today, I think it works but I've received 0.02 CSC after 2 hours of mining. GTX260, cgminer without tweaks @ 1636 Kh/s. A cpu miner is also active.

Do I need to adjust cgminers settings and if so, what and how? Can/should I use cudaminer on moopool? (great name btw)

Also the wallet hasnt synced since it fails to connect.

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I would use CudaMiner as you will get better hash rates with it. I would check and see if you're actually mining @ 1636kh/s however, as I don't see you reporting that many to the pool. The pool shows you running at 2kh/s. If your workers are in fact connected to the pool, I would be glad to help you find the problem. Thank you for mining with us Smiley

Those hashrates with an nvidia card are unrealistic. Its most likely that you are sha256-mining when you should be scrypt-mining. If your using cgminer, add --scrypt to your batch file. If your using GUIminer, then get GUIminer-Scrypt. Your hashrate of 1600khash is fault, your probably only mining at 2khs

Regarding transaction fees. I'm not sure if I have a wrong client or malware infection. I wrote a 600 SXC transaction was costing 8 SXC. By trial and error I could send different smaller amounts for free, trying the amount a second time was commanded a transaction fee. A transaction of 99 SXC was costing 1.1, 98 SXC was costing 1.2 SXC. The fee was increasing with smaller amounts this time.

Is there a discussion on the transaction fees elsewhere?

Can somebody post a link where to download the correct SexcoinQT, for verification that I have the right client?

Are you sure you havent set a fee for transactions in the wallet itself? Its in the settings somewhere.. cant make a screenshot cuz im not at my mining computer atm.

Is it normal that a 600 SXC transaction cost 8 SXC? Is there a table for transaction fees? I couldn't find the info where transacton fees are defined.

nope, not normal. Transaction from pool to wallet or from to wallet so somewhere else?

Anyway, what I wonder about is this: is the name of the coin enough to link it to a certain business? What if Bitcoin or Litecoin or basicly any other coin out there, stabilises and starts getting used for lots of things, like online adult entertainment.. What efforts are being done right now to motivate online enterprises to use sexcoin as a currency? What does sexcoin have that other coins dont, which make SXC the best option when it comes to adult entertainment? I personally see a cryptocurrency being huge for online sex and porn. But why Sexcoin?

is there a reason why on the mining pools round times is like 10-20 mins then none are found for like 1-2 hours. Seems to happen to often to be just bad luck and its the same time periods on various pools

depends on the amount of people in your pool. Also some blocks take longer to solve than others. Amount of shares in a block is random.

edit: let me correct, depends on the pool hashrate, not the amount of people

"There will be a total production of 250,000,000 coins with miners rewarded 100 coins per block, halved every 600,000 blocks. The client connects on port 9560 and if your lucky some blocks are worth x5 or even x50."

Anyone care to explain this one? I got 4 blockfinds this morning, which makes no sense given my hashrate. More so I got payed out those 400 coins all in once, even though I have a payout threshold set to 20. 4 times 100 coins would make more sense. Did I get lucky and find a x5 block, which gives the usual 100 to the miners in the pool and a 400 reward to me? Just guessing here.. anyone care to shed some light?
