I've been mining on a very powerful rig for over 6 hours with no blocks found. It seems others are reporting days without rewards - no pools is not an upside at this difficulty.
I think the new website looks a lot more professional and explains the goals, innovations and scope of the project more clearly. A step in the right direction!
The fonts are bad (tagline matches blurb font, really?), the video is a raw unstyled embed (it's an eye sore), and the gradients are dated. It looks like it was designed by a developer, it looks bad. The previous looked reminiscent of an eye for design (though it lacked in UX).
I received word that the team is hard set on a 1/50 swap for the new chain. The team refutes anyone who speaks against it on Discord. I do not see any added value from this team, they argue with everyone. I am out and will not be updating my Docker deployments.
this is bad for cmos community. This is the reason why we should not make exchange as our wallet for coins safe keeping. We just transfer when we want to sell our coins. or transfer to a desktop wallet after buying the coins.
Thank you for quoting, I want this message to be known. It's in the best interest of CMOS. For safekeeping, agreed for best practices in general. Although in this case it hurts the coin itself to keep at this exchange.
www.lbrypool.com is pretty good and has 0% fee's currently so you get 100% of the profits from you miner.
What you might be seeing is that the pools work out your hashrate based on the number of shares you submit and at what difficulty, if you have too high a difficulty then you will not submit as many shares.
The actual number of shares submitted doesn't matter; they are calculated against difficulty. The ideal target is to have the least number of shares needed to have your machine recognized online and at the correct hashrate by the pool. This will give the least number of rejects and discards.
I could really use some help on Zpool, the time to block is still high for LBRY but the pay rate is really good. Pick a coin you want (or LBRY) and mine using the LBRY algo.
*I'm a miner who really wants a particular alt on Zpool and 20 hour time to block is killer.
Any Baikal B miners currently mining LBRY, there is a pool that has a 0% fee it's http://lbrypool.com
It's currently a community pool and has been hitting above average blocks too.
"I'm a miner who really wants a particular alt".
That's why I left lbrypool for Zpool.

You can hash whatever algo and get paid in LBRY on Zpool, just add 'c=LBC' for the pass and use your LBRY wallet for the username. They could also use some more hashrate, the time to block still a little high.

Came here to say the VTC team has done a great job both decentralizing the coin and opening mining up to everybody. This coin's team has shown what p2pool and decentralization can do, I'm anxious to see more!
