by
aaacourt
on 22/03/2018, 19:42:49 UTC
'Taylor is a smart cryptocurrency trading assistant - an easy-to-use trading platform that helps people earn small profits many times a day, every day. Taylor monitors major exchanges and performs technical analysis to find investment opportunities. It will then signal users to a potentially profitable trade that can be entered into automated with the simple tap click of a button. Once the trade is started, Taylor will monitor it for you, automating the process'

Basically an app that assists you in your trading. It allows people of all expertise to start trading crypto. It reduces risk but targeting small daily profits as oppose to risking alot, with little knowledge of the markets.

They are also releasing 'Taylor Academy' which aims to deliver world class educational content on cryptocurrencies. From technical analysis, trading strategy to fundamental analysis on projects. Delivered from some of the biggest influencers in the crypto world!

They have an all star advisor team. One of the most promising ICO's in my opinion. And still time to get it.

Re: Bitcoin will never be used for trading. Discuss.
by

Bitcoin will never be used for trading. Why?

- Extremely slow transactions
- High fees
- Inability to solve these issues due to lack of consensus, poor governance, and a generally toxic relationship between investors and the technology

Now I could be wrong, and I would gladly accept that I am wrong if someone could give me clear, coherent, and rational reason for utilizing bitcoin as a actual cryptocurrency and not a cryptocommodity.

Disclaimer: I have nothing against Bitcoin. I just don't think it's future is bright anymore as way better technology is coming into fruition.

If by trading you mean as a payment system, lightning network will reduce both fees and transaction times. There is alot of innovation in regards to BTC right now.
If by trading you mean like Forex trading, once price fluctuations stabilise, this will be a thing.
If by trading you mean used a a base currency to trade alts - this is a thing.

Re: I Love To See People Panic Selling Of Bitcoin
by

There is a massive problem with people panic selling usually because they bought way more than they could afford and trying to claw back any losses. They will more than likely be the ones sorry when value is returned to all time highs.

If you bought the top, there can be a logical reason to sell at these levels. If your TA/FA analysis suggests that price is to fall further, you sell your position to buy back in lower. this obviosuly doesnt make sense if you bought below 5k as you lose your position.

Repeating the answer to a post/question
by
aaacourt
on 17/03/2018, 17:06:21 UTC
Why do people on here repeat the answer to posts for pages and pages?? If the answer to the initial question has been answered, dont repeat that answer. Obviously if you have additional information to add then that is different. But every thread i read, there is numerous people just blindly repeating what has already been said. The initial question is 'whats 2+2?' and then theres about 10 pages of 'the answer is 4'  It just creates so much useless noise on threads. How much nicer would it be if you could go into threads and it was just concise constructive debates and answers!

Re: where can I learn more about blockchain?
by
aaacourt
on 17/03/2018, 10:31:42 UTC
Honestly I am not tech savvy person. But I want to learn more about Blockchain, how to create my own blockchain and how to do fork on a coin. I would love to get any information you share with me.

Thank you

I agree that books can be a great source of information for crypto. I perosnally love Andreas Antonopoulos - the Internet of Money.
However, in regards to courses - The University of Berkeley teach have a blockchain course that can be accessed for free online. Its very in depth - would recommend. They also have a course for developers.I will post the links of both below. Furhtermore, princeton university also teach a Blockchain/cryptocurrency course. Once again, its pretty extensive. These are two very well respected institutions, there is lots to learn from both.

Berkeley - https://blockchain.berkeley.edu/decal/sp18/fund/
Berkeley Developer Course -   https://blockchain.berkeley.edu/decal/fa17/dev/
Princeton Course - https://www.coursera.org/learn/cryptocurrency

Enjoy!

Re: Where do ICO's cash out?

When ICO's pull in their ten's of millions, where do they go to cash out?

Most of the funds generated from an ICO will be re invested into further developing the project. The information regarding the split of the token sales is often found on the whitepaper of a project. When you invest in ICO's you dont pay in Fiat, you send crypto, often Eth. If the owners wanted to cash this out, they would use an exchange such as coinbase, like you and I.

Re: Technical analysis methods on Cryptocurrency and IQ option
by
aaacourt
on 16/03/2018, 17:47:22 UTC
I have experience trading forex on IQ option, although most of my trading was done on MetaTrader 5, and i can say that technical analysis(TA) does work in crypto. Many of the same strategies/indicators can be transferred across. For charting software i would recommend 'tradingview' for all binance/bittrex/polonoiex coins. And 'Coinigy' for your small caps/cryptopia coins. As in Forex, there is no god mode perfect strategy that prints money. It will be a case of learning the fundamentals of TA, and learning to apply them in a way that suits your style most effectively. I will post the links to TradingView and Coinigy below. Hope this helps.

Re: Financial Professionals Bet On Rising Cryptos, UK Report

Cryptocurrency is something that you can never predict no matter how good you are with TA and charts. Always expect the unexpected when it comes to crypto markets.

To say that TA doesnt work is not true. TA can't predict the future, but we're playing a game of numbers here and TA(if implemented correctly) can give you an edge

Re: Ethereum prefers falling

What would happen to Ethereum after this big crashed? Is there no more chance to make it rise again? I hope that in this situation would be just a normal thing just like in bitcoin and will have the chance to rise again. For sure the dev will do something about it so I don't worry much.

I am expecting eth it hit $500 in this month, before retracing to new all time highs. Use these dips to by low, and educate yourself about the market. so that when times are good, you can capitalize

Re: Clouds are the best?
by
aaacourt
on 15/03/2018, 09:46:18 UTC
Hello!
I want to share my experience of mining. I used cloud platforms like Hashflare with small attachments of about $ 100. Now the payback is about 200%, but the problem of all cloud-based mining is to limit the withdrawal of funds. My investment is not enough to mine the required crypto currency for withdrawal. The currency that I'm heading is bitcoin. At the moment, due to the dynamics of the exchange rate and the increase in the complexity of mining, payments are falling. Do you think it makes sense to invest in the cloud mining of bitcoin now?

the word scam is being thrown around alot in this thread and its not justified at all. Im not saying you should be pouring all your money into hashflare, but i'd be pretty suprised if it was a ponzi. The payouts are frequent and reliable, and hashflare handle themselves well. Obviously with BTC at this price, cloud mining(mining in general) isnt that profitable.

Im sure you've used this before but just incase i will post a mining profitability calculator to asses how profitable your contact is and how long it would take to recoup your initial investment.

Re: FUD is good & ETH is the cancer of crypto
by
aaacourt
on 14/03/2018, 11:52:00 UTC
I believe FUD is good because it keeps the market in check for gradual growth and does not create this 'bubble',

Yes i agree on ETH, thats why I am heavily investing into projects like TOMO which could take down ETH a peg or three and provide some healthy competition!

FUD is never a good thing. Investors holding a certain level of scepticism over projects can be healthy, but outright FUD is just destructive.  OP is just salty he bought the top. Should prob chill out, im sure it wont be the last time we see $1400 eth.

Re: Looking for coins with solid team and MVP
by
aaacourt
on 14/03/2018, 11:08:29 UTC
Thanks guys, mentioned coins are good, some are very solid projects, but one of the criteria I am looking for is a team or a founder who have a good reputation developing projects and risk it if the project fails. So far only Ardor fits since Jelurida, a team behind it have that rep making blockchain solutions before, and they actually have a new working blockchain solution running already. I will look into other mentioned projects in more detail and if they also fit I will add them to OP. Any new suggestions will also be appreciated.

STORM -

The team is solid(no all stars) but their advisory board is a team of MVPs for sure.
Here is a list of some of their advisors -
Bill Shihara - CEO & Founder of Bittrex
Charles Hoskinson - CEO of IOHK(Cardano) + Former CEO/Co-founder Ethereum
Anthony Di Lorio - CEO & Founder of Jaxx + Founder at Ethereum
Tom Bollich - Founder Member at Zynga.

Btw, STORM is a token that is earned by playing/buying games so those partnerships with Jaxx and Zynga(Zynga poker/Words with Friends/Farmville) are huge.

Interesting routine keep it up. You can check also telegrams lots of updates there twitter and medium is fine also then blockfolio ir coinmarket is good to update the price regarding charts tradingview is fine also and its free. Journal is important when you do trading daily so you can check the errors or any informations that day, journal is source of learmings to check if your trades improve or not. Good luck to your routine.

yeah journal is a great bit of advice, thanks. I have had one previously but have slacked with it recently. Will make sure i go back to daily entries!

Re: ICX to $100 in 2018
by
aaacourt
on 14/03/2018, 10:29:07 UTC
entirely possible. ICX is Korea's ETH. Very strong and have a huge community. I suspect $ 100 is absolutely achievable in 2018

^

I really cant see ICX's market cap being 40billion come the end of the year. To get to a 40billion market cap you have to have an ETH type adoption. Having said that i am bullish in ICX and can see it making a run for top 10.
