..should make a follow up, because this one is too centered around fiat currencies. It is very good quality and it is available on p2p networks. We have a bigger community now, and I think

crowdsourcing will be better than before to fund the second attempt.  Roll Eyes

I can't access the video either..given the growth and size of the community, a crowdsourcing project can produce nothing less than a blockbuster. It's time for a bitcoin blockbuster ;-)

Looking at the volume of repeated queries on same topics, it's a good idea to do whatsapp or other chat platforms.

A broader point to address is the authenticity of information available to biginners. With it's own challenges of effective onboarding, this forum still remains the best source of authentic information on bitcoin and whole of the 'crypto-internet'

In P2P systems, a beginner is likely to receive unwelcoming treatment sometimes.

....P2P systems / blockchain heavily relies on TRUST between it's members

a newbie inbox shows below message while sending a PM - it outlines the need of trust in P2P dealings but again it may seem unpleasant to a beginner

!!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!

This sign campaign thing seems so over hyped, please refer this thread for what I learnt...https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1539792.0

Eventually I locked that thread to stop further post on this topic

Mods, if you feel you need to shut a thread down, why not just lock it?
Can anyone give a good reason why deleting a thread would be preferable to just locking it, absent legal reasons and other force majeure?

It's better if a member who started the topic locks it rather than a moderator. This will avoid restrictive moderation policy and will ensure free speech at all time. a moderator can then encourage such voluntary locking as and when required

I guess it works better by reporting specific off-topic post, that would be more convenient for Mod's and you to take appropriate action. Not sure if there's a way to report multiple replies in one go, that might make it easier to report cases like this.

I believe it makes no difference if you believe in god or not, what matters is to attain self-realisation, and consciousness is the only route to do so

In P2P systems, a beginner is likely to receive unwelcoming treatment sometimes.

I read an article at following link which suggests that P2P systems / blockchain heavily relies on TRUST between it's members. Due to high possibility of scamming it becomes necessary to make new joiners realise the value of trust. That's where existing members may have to take firm stand on the way newbies behave.

Try lending or investing in BTC loans in this forum or other service like bitbond. Given the associated risks of lending, it may require some research though. May be start with small amounts and increase it as you gain experience..

Any tips to qualify for signature campaigns in less time
by

It would be nice if beginners can qualify for signature campaigns in less time.

Are there any tips or good practices that can help beginners to start running signature campaigns early?

Example 1 - buying senior member profiles can be a way to start early

--------------------Update: 09 July 2016

Example 2 - gain sub-rank by 10 BTC or 50 BTC donation to this forum
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

Some more insights on this subject,

  • We are here to contribute and be a good member of the community and not just for earning
  • Earning by signature campaign is an incentive for being a good member
  • Heavy use of signature campaigns as marketing tool may lead to spamming i.e if a signature campaign ask for 35 posts per week, it may result into posts that are only meant to meet the campaign target and may not be of much value to the community
  • Many posts recommend use of signature campaign as the only best way to earn BTC, that's what makes this subject important
  • Finally and thankfully there's a full topic dedicated to signature campaigns: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0already

Thanks for the stats page - it does provide a fairly high level view of usage volumetrics

Stastistics and Analytics are key to drive sustainable business outcomes. If not all, most of the online business biggies make great use of user stats.

It would be of great help for users to socialise a bit more with the community

For a beginner, faucets are good to start from absolutely '0' BTC - given you can spend time, there are gains

Small earning - it can lead from absolute zero to 0.001 BTC and so on..
Big learning - faucets provides a great deal of hands on with entire crypto world thing

How about,

convert - buy or build an online business and convert to cash
Invest - invest online and turn into long term slow cash income
