Hello, a few days ago I saw a post in the alts section announcing bitcoin unlimited for 1st of april.
Now HitBTC exchange announced they have a first deadline for a possible fork on 31st of march.
Besides that I have seen very little indication saying a fork could happen so soon.
Does anyone have a clue if that could even be possible?

Re: [General] Bitcoin Wallets - Which, what, why?
by

Hi,
after around a year using bitcoin I still haven't figured out this wallet question.
From what I understood,
-keeping your funds on exchanges is a big no no.
-keeping your funds on any online device is never 100% safe.
-keeping your funds on cold storage is the only 100% safe way...

My problem is I understand cold storage like a paper wallet is not convenient if you move funds in and and out often.
So I think the only way to keep your funds 100% safe and accessible is a hardware wallet.

Is this correct or is there a 100% safe way to keep funds on a hot wallet? if yes which one?

Re: software to trade on multiple exchanges? (not bot)

the android app was ztrader :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.bandicoot.ztrader

but it's really not convenient to trade on my phone. And you can't get a global overview.
What I'm looking for is something like magnr (magnr.com) but using api instead of paying extra fees for an external service.
maybe CAT could be an option but i find it really expensive.

software to trade on multiple exchanges? (not bot)

Hi,
I would find it convenient to have a software that could let me trade on multiple exchanges to have an overview of all my orders in one place.
I think I had found an android app that was doing that but I'd like something for PC
anything like that out there?
Thanks

Hi, I'm curious to try out mining just for testing purposes as I know it will probably not be profitable but if I can make a buck or 2, even better.
I have a laptop with an i5 and gtx680. Any coins you recommend mining? The simpler the better...

Yes I like it too the daily change and 7 day graph is nice but it's just missing the monthly graph or change without having to check each one individually.

What do you do when BTC shoots up?

Hi,

I'd like to know what do you think is a good strategy when BTC price shoots up and you feel it's going to come down again.
- hold on to your Bitcoin?
- Sell it for USD hoping to buy it again cheaper?
- Sell it for other crypto (in this case which would you choose)?

Invest in all alts

Hi

I noticed a lot of movement in altcoins and I'm wondering how stupid or how smart would it be to invest in all altcoins.
The idea would be to invest the same small amount in each altcoin.
Then I'm not sure what would be the best strategy from there. I'm pretty sure most coins would bring losses but the ones that grow would maybe cover that plus some?
