Re: BITCOIN AND NUMEROLOGY.

Even the name Satoshi Nakamoto is not real. Just a hypothetical name given to creator. And this numerology based calculation is giving emphasis bases on that name. So the basic itself is wrong.

I have used proton mail for sometime but there are some very annoying features. Like if you do not login in the account for 20-30 days, email account is deactivated. I am not sure if they have same kind of policy for this wallet but if they need me to login frequently to keep the wallet active, I do not even want to tet them at all.

Re: Where to restart? I just got back into my coinbase from 5yrs ago? advanced trade
by

HI !

I was a former coinbase junkie who got hacked and lost my retirement. But the scammers left some coins in my account, that I left for years thinking it was (well kindof is empty). So anyways I'm doing some "paper" trading where I buy $100 and try to make $5, but Im getting about $4 in fees. Thats why the owner is a billionaire, you do the work, time, and risk, and they always profit!

Anyways I'm starting to get out of the red.

I know there used to be good youtube channels, but if you do a search its just "here is how to set up your email to get coinbase!"

Yeah I know how to do that, but now I'm new to this new and fee heavy coinbase.

I have a working algorithm in my head that is working and making $, but how to implement that? Seems like the fees eat up my margin. I did just find some tp/sl orders that are working? help!

You have  small capital for this trading and this it cannot give very high profit. You should first work on increasing this capital. Whatever job or business you are doing, you should try to upgrade skills in that. That way , you will start earning and saving more and you can divert the savings back to crypto. This will result in higher profit in future. This time also take all precautions to keep the portfolio safe from hackers.

It can go even up more. Would be interesting if exchange like Binance also lists it. It will be at least 10x of current price if that happens.

Re: Are you eligible for MOVE airdrop?
by
abramovf
on 07/12/2024, 13:41:34 UTC
I didn't qualify for $MOVE. When their Testnet was live, I didn't participate because there were a lot of other projects and move felt too grindy. But I've got a couple of friends that qualified and they have all registered and will claim.

What I'm more interested to do with their token is to trade it when it goes live. I heard coinbase is listing on Day 1 and Binance is likely to be a day 1 listing too. Either way, the thesis is simple, Sui and Aptos are move programming language blockchains like movements and they have done quite well.

How much worth coins is each user getting in the airdrop ?

Re: Tron New ATH
by

I want to say congrats for all the TRON holders, we say a new ATH hitting $0.44/coin, which is really nice, we are talking about +90% in the past 3 days.

For those who don't know about Tron, let me give a short introduction.

* Tron is fast, it's transactions are confirmed in less than 1 minute
* Tron has smart contracts just line BNB or ETH
* Tron has its own stablecoin in USD better known as USDT - TRC20

So, the coin have it all, and used to be cheap as hell, but looks like the whales realize it's potential and decide to go big with it.

Who controls the reserves of USDT-trc20 ? Is the issue and release regulated by some authority ?

Re: XRP is doomed...
by
abramovf
on 07/12/2024, 13:39:16 UTC
I still don't understand XRP. All nodes are controlled by ripple labs. Ripple labs can change the protocol when ever they want. They could block transactions, create new XRP, or even steal directly from your wallet. With this setup why does ripple even bother making it a blockchain? it could be easier and faster to have a centralized database with address and XRP value entries. The whole point of a blockchain is to have a consensus mechanism for a decentralized network but XRP is centralized. Ripple controls consensus.

With altcoins, it is all about the hype.

There are meme coins entering top 100 based on market cap in few days. Just a meme coin with no use made for fun. It is obvious what the end fate of such coins will be. Those who invest in these coins at last will suffer very badly. The blow will be so hard that they might not be able to recover entire life.

Re: Isn't trading almost like gambling?
by

on 26/02/2024, 11:40:36 UTC
There are many common traits between gambling and trading. Like both the activities are very addictive. Also, it is true that majority of people in both these activities will loose money at the end of the day.

However, let us see how is trading different from gambling. In trading, one has to apply logic and techniques based on past behavior. It is not random but actually a science which can be mastered with practice.

Very unique interest you have. What was the total cost in developing one coin ? If the final result can be improved further , you can take input from other members here and may be start a separate thread for selling these as collectibles. I would personally love to own a coin like this. Only problem is that bitcoin legal condition is yet not clear in my country and I am afraid that holding such a coin or promoting crypto here physically might land me in some legal trouble one day.

Re: Very Good News Argentina Cryptocurrency Holder

Bitcoin-friendly  Javier Milei won the country’s presidential run-off election on Nov. 19, beating out his opponent Sergio Massa. With almost 99% of the vote counted, Milei won over 55% of the votes with a nearly 3 million vote lead according to Bloomberg data.

Source

This has already started to show its effect. Some sites are reporting that bitcoin gained 3% because of this news like this article
https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2023/11/20/javier-milei-wins-argentine-presidency-bitcoin-gains-nearly-3/

I am sure that long term impact will be even better with the new government making regulations in favor of Crypto for Argentina people. Argentina population is about 0.57% of the total world population so this can translate to a number of news users in crypto world.

Suppose, I buy XRP and set limit of 15% fluctuation. The coin should immediately be converted into Monero if this happens. Is there any exchange which offers this function ?

Bitcoin has its organic growth because it has big developer communities who develop great things for Bitcoin users. If you want to support them, send your bitcoin, satoshis to their donation addresses.

https://bitcoindevlist.com/

Where do they invest the amount they get as donations ?

Re: Bitcoin has died 474 times
by
abramovf
on 20/08/2023, 05:51:58 UTC
Recently, I was stumbled upon 99bitcoins.com & found these interesting Bitcoin Obituaries. It's in fact a record of how many times people forecasted the end of bitcoin and the official count is 432 474 up until now. There are thousands more which we have no record of but this has the record. The interesting part is that in the following graph you can get the source where someone has forecasted the death/end of bitcoin. It's pretty cool; I have read a few from long ago. There are some more interesting stats you may enjoy. Don't forget to have a click on the page.

These things are very common. This is a crypto forum and users here are predicting death of bitcoin. If you go to a internet marketing forum, users there will be predict end of blogging and online money making. There are some people who like to make fun of other people. You should completely avoid such people if you want to succeed in any work. There is enough potential in all niches at all time. Furthermore, if you reach the top 1% cream in a niche, you will be making a hell lot of money even when it has got saturated.

You did the right thing by sharing the incident here. At least, members here are now aware of how this scam operates and will remain safe from this scam. However, this scam cannot be eliminated completely because there are still crypto users who will never come across this post.

So what external forces can possibly be responsible for causing the emotional and mental imbalance in one's life? Well this question may appear to be almost impossible to answer in one sentence because there can be numerous causes of stress.

Stress always occurs when you want things to be different from the way they are but they just remain the same. Let's go back to our dictionary definition - 'a force exerted when one body presses on, pulls on, pushes against, or tends to compress or twist another body.'
