Re: Seuntjies DiceBot -Multi-Site, multi-strategy betting bot for dice. With Charts!

You can use the built in methods from the programmer mode. Set up your strategy as you want it to be and set your start bet to the miminum you want the bot to be able to bet. Set your nextbet to what you want it to start at outside of the dobet function, then inside of the dobet function just use nextbet=dAlembert(win). Just check the casing for the function n the methods/functions box in the bot.

so your script would look something like
Code:
nextbet = 5
chance=49.5

function dobet()
nextbet=dAlembert(win)
end

Alternatively, you can write your own version of dAlembert in the programmer mode

It worked! very nice. That's easier than I expected. Thanks for the help.  Grin

Is there any way to start a progression in the middle?

Not currently, sorry

Dang. Is it something I could write a programmer mode script to do?

Is there any way to start a progression in the middle?

Let's say I was at a bet of 5 (just an example number) in d'alambert strat, with increments of 1 (go down 1 on win, go up 1 on loss). It seems if i set 'starting bet' to 5, it will start there but it won't go below that. I want it to start at 5 but go all the way down to 1 if neccessary. I set minimum bet to 1 in 'advanced bet settings' tab but it doesn't work.

In this case, our fraud team has needed more time than usual as the case is quite complicated

The proper thing to do is to, in the worst case scenario, void the bet and return the deposit. You should not arbitrarily seize goods that aren't yours. I wouldn't do it if I was running a casino, anyway.

Re: Could a coin price be locked in place?
by
abright135

No, it couldn't be locked in place.

1. If an exchange tried it, and the price was better on another one, people would go to that one.

2. If the government tried, there would be no practical way to accomplish it. Cryptocurrency is cryptography and hashes. More broadly, it is information and algorithms which validate the information. Information can easily have it's source disguised and it's content hidden from outside observers in a variety of well tested and standardized ways. It need not even pass through the internet at all, which is what a cold wallet is (on it's own), although it is certainly more convenient. Therefore the government couldn't fix a coin price either.

You are simply out to slander an exchange, spam a Telegram chat (@ myCOSS), frankly you are blaming everyone else for what was a unbelievably stupid error on your part, with your username and password being gained from somewhere as well.

Don't be stupid. Passwords are hacked all the time. That's why 2FA exists. If the site allowed someone to brute force the 2FA, which tends to be a no more than 6 digit code, then that makes their 2FA spectacularly useless. As such the blame lies squarely with the site, regardless of whether the OP's password was '1234' or 'dog' or what have you.

Re: Buy BTC with Credit Card - NO VERIFICATION?
by

Some vendors on places like Localbitcoins and Paxful allow you to buy BTC through PayPal without an ID,

Actually last time I checked, every single seller of BTC on localbitcoins that accepted paypal also required id.

In any case while I might understand the reasons, it seems to me that in financial matters more and more personal information is demanded, eroding your privacy. First, it was pictures of id. Then it was a utility bill as well. Then it was also a picture of yourself holding the id. What's next? Your complete medical history?

I don't buy BTC with a credit card, i'm just saying.

Someday I hope that everything will be purchasable with bitcoin. I can even order groceries online with it now (for a small price increase). Have yet to be able to pay the rent with it though.

Out of curiosity, if management have no strict rules against VPN then how they fight against promotion abusers..

Offhand, there's the way bitcointalk does it. Allow vpns and previously banned ips but disable certain abilities. So a site could disable bonuses/promotions/affiliate activity, etc on ips that are vpns or have been banned before.

Hi, i'm interested in anonymous sports betting. Will nitrogen really keep me anonymous? There seems to be some grey area in this regard, as some people (a small amount perhaps) report being asked for id upon withdrawal.
