Well that's a good news to the crypto investors as they will be protected with those regulations. Then, how about those ICOs that are not originated from France? Is this mandatory to all ICOs to secure certificate from those group?
I am sure some countries that are not sure of how to handle the crypto regulation issue can learn from France, that they can actually benefit more from it than when they ban it, banning it will only mean they lose such investments to other countries where it is allowed

Re: ICOs now regulated, expect better ICOs, less Scams
The question is will the new rules concerning ICO's in France result in a cumbersome and expensive bureaucratic process that will kill of the few ICO's coming out of France? Given that they have handed the job to the stock market regulator it is quite likely that will be the result.
There are always trade offs, those are my fears too, that we do not kill innovations when complex government bottlenecks are required before you can launch a project, the good part is that we get to see less scams and investors protection of some sorts.Only time will tell how this eventually plays out

Here is an except of an article published on coinness. It narrates the French government approval of draft to regulate ICOs
"France Finalizes New ICO Framework to 'Attract Innovators Globally']France's Minister for the Economy and Finance has announced on Twitter that the government has accepted an article of the Business Growth and Transformation bill (PACTE) dedicated to Initial Coin Offerings (ICO).
Bruno Le Maire stated that the French stock markets regulator Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is now empowered to give licenses to companies that want to raise funds via an ICO, with the legislation aiming to help protect contributors' interests."
Is this a good bye to scam ICOs from France?

It is much more challenging to make profits on day trading in a bearish market, it require a new skill set as one will have to take note if the fact that assets are generally losing value as time progresses

One of the perks of regulations for me is the possibility of bringing in floods of new cash to the space and the less tendency for there to be scams especially as regards initial coins offerings, only projects with reasonable ideas gets funded, not scams

Money does come with some level of financial liberty, and bitcoin can be a tool to achieve this, the rules are not set in stones but it can play a dominant role as a currency in a lot country

I am scared we may not have seen the worst of Ethereum, a lot of projects are still selling off their ether hold from ICO conducted, also the scaling issue is yet to be resolved ,let's hope it gets better
The future of dogecoin? Lol) Even the Creator called it a joke coin, what kind of serious future can there be?)
Doge coin as you rightly said didn't really start so well but it seem to have gathered some huge support and legitimacy in recent times, gained up to a 100 percent last week and seem to have retained much of that value gained

The market may continue until people finally understand how it is played and will be less inclined to sell off their bitcoins in a panic or dump in price, it will gradually become less severe as everyone will learn to ignore it.And the market will just grow naturally

If bitcoin were a bubble, it would have burst by now and prices are at close to their best, but it is not, some big investors are trying so hard to crash the price because they believe the price will ultimately grow in the future

Crypto-currency or digital assets in general only derive value for specific solutions to provide either as a utility token or as a security, when either of these phase are poorly developed or ignored, the value is more or less zero as it is only then a speculative instrument.

It will not change things much in the future because bitcoin was not designed to be controlled by the government. If governments ban btc and people are willing to use it, no problem, it is peer-to-peer

It is difficult to fix all the great qualities into a single coin, for safety, bitcoin is your best option ( although it is not an altcoin).
