ever heard of this "buy at dip and be rich in the future"
by
accounting 181293
on 01/05/2022, 06:09:12 UTC
I did it all month of April. although do not know where the lowest point. I bought AXS, I bought Sol, ftm, luna, bitcoin, avax, all coins that I think have great potential and prices are falling. but today i started to doubt, what i did was right?
after I observed my assets were down quite a lot and it was enough for me to have trouble. I want to ask what did I do wrong? Or is this the right decision?

Re: newbie Q/A

hi, i just joined the crypto market, and was referred to this forum so i can learn better and can learn from on this forum. I have some questions please help me answer it:
- I have an initial capital of $5000, what coin should I invest in for the long term?
for long term investment bitcoin and ethereum is the best choice. but with 5000$ I don't think it's good. maybe you can buy other altcoins like solana, Terra, Avalanche, BNB, Polkadot, Polygon, or Cardano which are cheaper.

- How to avoid easy scam coins?
...

the easy way don't buy coins outside the best 100 list on coinmarketcap. and don't invest in new projects. although there are many projects that can buy ROI of more than 100% but not a few also end up rugpull. so don't invest in new projects.

Re: My biggest crypto regret
by
accounting 181293
on 05/04/2022, 07:53:48 UTC
If I am given a chance to go back to 2020 I would hold my ETH very tight and never let go, when covid was hitting the world at its best I thought it over and I sold 24 ETH which I bought at 120$ each, I never knew I was so damn lucky to buy at that price, learn to hold tight if you believe in a project, there are countless of projects in past years that are way bigger in value right now.

Your regret is almost the same as mine. At the start of the pandemic I had 10ETH in my personal wallet. I held it very firmly, but at that time my finances were very bad. I was fired from work, the pandemic worsened the situation, and my savings were slowly running low. without thinking further I sold all the eth I had, because by then the price had gone up. but when my finances improved I didn't think about buying eth again even though at that time the price wasn't too different from when I sold it. a year later in 2021 to be exact, I realized that the decision at that time was the wrong choice and I regret it now.

I'm currently trying to buy back little by little and will hold onto it for years to come. no matter if many people say ethereum is too high or too expensive, i stick to my current decision, buy it for a long term investment.

Re: BTC needs to taste 50k for altcoins to start performing big again

Who watched BTC chart this morning? It looks like we have to retest 44,000$ once again before 50k becomes a reality, what do you think? I'm learning more about chart reading and I believe I'm getting somewhere, maybe if BTC find it's way over 50k altcoins will benefits once again.

I think so too, bitcoin has to break 50k for the altcoin market to start rallying. for now altcoins still haven't had a big impact even though bitcoin has gone up quite high. but currently bitcoin is stuck at 46k, and it looks like btc is still struggling for more than this. the question is can bitcoin get past this point.

Re: Indonesia joins the regulation of cryptocurrencies in this 2022

...
How would the regulation of cryptocurrencies help the country?
...

If we talk about Indonesia they are just implementing the tax system for crypto assets. They don't let using cryptocurrencies as currencies, they see it as a commodity. So they can take some piece of entire cake of crypto, but all advantages can be reached only with looser legislation.
But just 0.1% of VAT and 0.1% on capital gains is rather soft tax system for crypto comparing with some other countries so I think Indonesia can attract some crypto investours with that.

the percentage of tax that will be applied is very low when compared to other Asian countries such as India which imposes 30%. so maybe people in that country won't protest this tax problem. but the fact that crypto is only seen as an asset is also important. it looks like the country wants to regulate crypto without having any desire to adopt it as a currency.

Re: The future of launchpad projects certain?

A friend said they fade away with time as some are based on IEO and some use IDO but as time goes by they faded away, is this true?

yes that's absolutely true. launchpad will eventually be deprecated as well, and there will be a new way to raise seed funding. Initially launchpad was expected to prevent fraud and verify new projects. but the truth is there are still a lot of shit projects out there. they use IEO/IDO on the launchpad platform with ease, even I doubt if every project is verified before starting to raise funding. because of this, launchpad will be deprecated later.

Who are the top crypto influencers  to follow in twitter

if you like to speculate, you should follow Elon Musk. every time he tweets about crypto there will be a lot of speculation about it. and you can benefit from it. there is also CZ(Changpeng Zhao) the owner of binance and one of the most influential people in the crypto space. or Jack Dorsey he is also quite interesting to follow, one of the people who made twitter friendly to the crypto community.

Re: Pay in rubles or have your gas shut off by April
by
accounting 181293
on 02/04/2022, 04:44:03 UTC
Putin has threatened so called unfriendly states to pay in rubles or have its gas supply shut off. It has said it doesn't buy things for free and so isn't going to charitable with its energy.
Europe has kicked against this with Germany saying its being blackmailed by this move. What other choice does Europe has with Russia alone selling about 40% of energy to the world.

the russian way is pretty good and there is nothing wrong with this. they are trying to make the ruble valuable even though it is being sanctioned. and European countries can't protest this, let alone those who need energy supplies from Russia. so they have to follow what the russians want or there is no energy for them.

I'm looking forward to store some stable coin for future investment, maybe probably when a harder bearish market takes place to buy coins for lesser price but I can't seem to figure with stable coin can make me have a good night sleep at night with zero worries, USDT? BUSD?

DAI if you want a truly decentralized stablecoin. but if you don't care about all that, you can use Tether(USDT). I also use USDT and have no problem with that.

Re: Luna movement to the Top 3

UST and Luna Minting system is the main power of the project and if this system keep progressing the LUNA can be the new BNB it will be going to Hit 200 and then 300 very easily. For now this project is showing most effective progress in Market. LUNA should be considered as the Holding asset.

yes you are right, that is their main power. they also still have a chance for it. and maybe later he will be in the best 3 positions under bitcoin and ethereum. So far Luna is one of the coins with a fairly high increase, and it could be that this coin will create a new ATH.

What is the sign of bull market start

market cap increasing
increased trading volume
bitcoin breakout and head to ATH
no bad news
Major altcoins experienced significant gains in a short period of time

and after that happens then the altcoin season starts and the bull run is already running. and all the signs are happening right now. so it could be without us knowing the market has started a bull run.

Re: What is Russia brewing?

so if Russia manages to make mining legal now, miners can now freely mine crypto without hiding, while the government benefits in return through taxes and every other kind of fees miners would be expected to pay, this could at least help their economy, even if personally i think the effect would be minimal.

I also heard, after a lot of sanctions received, they started to retaliate in a way "they will only accept GAS payments using crypto(bitcoin)" I don't know if this is just a plan, but one thing I do know is that as long as the sanctions last, I think Russia is going to be very crypto friendly. they will solve the country's economic problems by using crypto.

Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges?
by
accounting 181293
on 28/03/2022, 10:31:06 UTC

Imagine if most countries unilaterally agree on banning centralized exchanges for good. Will that mean the end of crypto for good (even though it would still be possible to get some crypto through decentralized exchanges)? After all, most people will be afraid of using crypto if it's declared "illegal". The ban of centralized exchanges will surely topple crypto prices, signaling fear among investors and traders alike.

What are your thoughts? Huh

I agree it will drop the price and have a big impact. but will not make crypto die. if there is no CEX, we still have DEX and there is no way the whole country will ban it. although later the fee will be more expensive, but it will be a way for crypto not to depend on a centralized system like today. but back to the discussion, this is just a possibility that will not become real. due to the fact that today there are more countries that are more open and willing to accept crypto than reject it.

Re: ETH is a centralized SCAM and will drop to $30 again
by
accounting 181293
on 27/03/2022, 09:51:12 UTC
Why do people go in ETH now or trust ETH now when the secret to success was to buy ETH at $0.25 or $10?

When now you are better off going in projects that are like early eth for example koinos which the devs work relentlessy on daily as you can see on github but its still so cheap as eth was day1 so this is a chance to make $100k from $100 while eth is not only making the rich richer

Good argument, but you're forget community power, and hype. it's not about the developers who are always active or the price of the coins is still cheap. it's about how solidly the community supports the project. so don't equate a new project that wasn't even popular with ethereum at the start of its release. this is completely irrelevant, and you will only be misled. I can say this by looking at the facts. there are many projects with the same concept as ethereum, the developers are always active and working to make the platform better. but the price of their coins is difficult to increase because it is less popular and not supported by a good community.

Re: ETH future
by
accounting 181293
on 26/03/2022, 13:05:00 UTC
I fear for ETH future, almost all smart contract projects are using the PoS staking algorithm but only ETH PoW stands alone, this makes ETH different and one of a kind smart contract project, I think vitalik buterin will regret is decision after ETH goes PoS.
how about if the opposite happened, when POS was released, it turned out to strengthen the position of ethereum. and your worries never come true. isn't this also one of the possibilities that can happen when ethereum releases POS. imagine when eth 2.0 runs fully, that means TPS has been upgraded and scalability issues have been resolved. network fees can be very cheap, cheaper than today. these are some of the advantages of upgrading the ethereum network that we will feel. so there's no harm in accepting this upgrade.

Re: What is the best way to invest in crytocurrency in 2022?
by
accounting 181293
on 26/03/2022, 04:55:40 UTC
In the past there are been different ways of making money in crytocurrency, for example ICO,staking, mining, bounty hunting, buying and selling of nfts, investing in memecoins etc.from all these which do you think is the beat approach to make money in the present market conditions?.

I've started a different approach, I used to be interested in new coins or something risky with making big returns. but now I prefer coins with strong fundamentals and a good ecosystem. maybe you too can be like me. this way of investing is much better, and the risk is also low, plus the profit generated is not bad either. start investing in top rank coins only, and leave IEO/IDO, and don't buy NFT.

Re: Is this true?
by
accounting 181293
on 25/03/2022, 12:59:59 UTC
no, in fact the projects that were released during the bulls were the ones that provided the big ROI. but when the project makes ATH, the price will be dumped to the bottom. while projects that are released when bears will find it difficult to adjust the price. maybe only a small part can approach the presale/tokensale price when entering the exchange. meaning let alone to provide ROI, maintaining the same price as the presale is very difficult. so if anyone says projects that give big profits are projects that were released during a bear market, they are all bullshit.
