Is there any latest news about this coin legend? I look forward to it since last year.

Bushstar - the founder and lead dev is working on an Omni Layer for Feathercoin,  allowing Feathercoin to host it's own assets like how Omni implemented USDT on the bitcoin network

OK so it seems the CVP-13 does support neoscrypt

But even then...1 CVP-13 board costs somewhere like 5K USD... for 1...and you only get 3.3 MHS for that.

FTC has had a hashrate of 5-6 GHS since Jan 2018

so roughly 1500 CVP-13 cards would make up the  5-6 GHS.

5K USD per cpv-13 card *  1500 cards  = $7,500,000.   So a possible 7.5 Million USD spent to power the FTC network.

Fuck, yeah, this is a complete fucked up !!! I designed and saved a coin of more than 3 years. Today the course is killed, developers idiots do nothing for consensus.

90% of the coins go to some dumb asshole who doesn't care about the community.

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ftc/address.dws?6sWmKppffRFhNJJif2PsaVSbLAJAYP1Vbj.htm
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ftc/address.dws?6i4ppKbiDpbAHrQXzwugF53kVz1iYYqHrp.htm

This has nothing to do with consensus.

Nothing on the Feathercoin network or code is broken.

I am working under the assumption this is a private miner who probably has access to a custom coded miner software or has asics/fpgas.

There is no known ASIC or FPGA for neoscrypt that I know of...a lot of scams and fakes..nothing real.   However behind closed doors, anything is possible.

Hi All,

The Trezarcoin Team are migrating pools.

If anyone wants to try out the new pool,

Any miners here using the old pool (pool.trezarcoin.com)

Please could you point your rigs to our new pool ?

Code:
stratum+tcp://newpool.trezarcoin.com:3000  // low-end cards and cpu miners .  Vardiff 32 -512
stratum+tcp://newpool.trezarcoin.com:3024  // static diff 1024
stratum+tcp://newpool.trezarcoin.com:4000  // VarDiff 8 - 8192
stratum+tcp://newpool.trezarcoin.com:5000  // NiceHash Diff 17383

You can name your rigs differently like this

CPU Miner example
Code:
minerd.exe -o  stratum+tcp://newpool.trezarcoin.com:3000 -u YourWalletAddress.WorkerName -p c=tzc

Code:
minerd.exe -o  stratum+tcp://newpool.trezarcoin.com:3000 -u TZhfWcaaQe9CqMpHUUu5HgrwtDRHRziXxk.cpuMinerWorker1 -p c=tzc

Thanks and happy mining!!

You can check on your worker by looking up your wallet address used for mining on the main dashboard
https://newpool.trezarcoin.com/dashboard

Example of my worker URL:
https://newpool.trezarcoin.com/workers/TZhfWcaaQe9CqMpHUUu5HgrwtDRHRziXxk

Anyone care to explain why they think TZC is a dead coin ?

GitHub:
Alot of people check the master branch where as most of the dev work will get done on private branches and then merged into master when tested and ready.

MarketCap/Price:
We are in a crypto bear market and anyone who says anything different needs to back that with some serious stats/proof. With things like TrezarTravels and other use cases on the way Trezarcoin has positioned itself very well to actually get used as currency!

Trezarcoin has a team with a wealth of experience from various backgrounds...some of the team members have been into crypto pre 2013.

All I can say is,  watch this space is in the coming months!

Two things seem to be happening here.

Either we have a general interest with a lot of new users asking some very stupid and obvious questions...

or we have an army of spammers just posting shit for the sake of it...or maybe it's to up their ranking on bitcoin talk.

If you require help or assistance with Feathercoin Core, please give as much information as possible.

For example:

---
Feathercoin Core version:  0.16.1
OS Version:   Windows 10
Problem:   I need help using another disk as my Feathercoin Blockchain datadir.

Im going to vote for option #2.

Go away spammers.

Ha ha and just like that.. they went.

Hello. Aren’t you planning to reduce the number of tokens given for creation of a block in the near future? Is there a countdown timer?

if you go to https://feathercoin.com/  you can see a countdown for the next block reward halving.

4 years is a timeframe in which the number of tokens given to miners decreses in case of mining of BTC. Why did you decide to change it?

The FTC block halving is also every 4 years if I remember correctly

Feathercoin also falls in price as bitcoin. Not good. I believe that the developers are not trying hard to work on this token. But it is present on the exchange of cryptocurrencies and it is wonderful

This could not be further from the truth.

You can check on the development progress very easily here:
https://coincheckup.com/analysis/github

if you filter over 1 year of commits you can see Feathercoin is in 13th place with Bitcoin being in 11th place.

Feathercoin's latest release is 0.16.1  which is 1 minor version behind bitcoins 0.16.2 release

I hope this helps alter your beliefs

The number of BTC is much less than the number of FTC. Why did you decide to put such a big number of FTC in circulation?

This is very legacy.

Bitcoin was the first coin and started with 21 Million

Then litecoin forked and multiplied by 4, so 84 million

then Feathercoin originally forked the Litecoin code base and again multiplied by 4 so 336 million

--

Now Feathercoin is a direct fork of Bitcoin with all the necessary Feathercoin parameters added.

Hope that helps.

Good afternoon. If the person wants to accept FTC as a payment method in his or her own store, what should this person do?
Theoretically, if the buyers have a FetherCoin Wallet installed on their mobile devices, it’ll be enough to follow the link  or scan the QR code.
Hmm, it’ll work in case of Android users, but, as far as i know, there’s no wallet for storage of FTC on iOS so far.

You can download the Edge Secure wallet for iOS and Android, works very well with FTC.

I think next bullrun this coin will go back up but i dont see a longterm future to be honest, it has a few cool features but it really doesnt bring that much extra value

I politely disagree  :-)

My personal highlights of the current state of Feathercoin as a payment network.

- Feathercoin has the latest bitcoin core code base (0.16.1)   (not many coins have this or even close to this)
Proof: https://coincheckup.com/analysis/github  (filter by 1yr of commits)

- Feathercoin uses the neoScrypt mining algorithm which is faster and yet more secure than Scrypt
Proof: http://phoenixcoin.org/archive/neoscrypt_v1.pdf

- Feathercoin now supports BTCPay server so merchants can now accept FTC directly on their own hosted node.
Proof: https://forum.feathercoin.com/topic/9715/ann-btcpay-gets-ftc-support-self-hosted-payment-processor

- Feathercoin has iOS and Android wallets available
iOS:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/edge-bitcoin-wallet/id1344400091?mt=8
Android:  https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.edgesecure.app

- Has a dedicated team of Developers, Investors and a very friendly user base
Proof: https://feathercoin.foundation/read-me/

Feathercoin is fantastic and soon the cryptocurrency community will be reminded of how awesome it truely is. ;-)

Hello!
My wallet is not synchronized, I added nods.

And also I can not unpack the archive.
https://cdn1.savepice.ru/uploads/2018/7/8/ae962477a7b0d2035ba2c4e42d81b8b5-full.png

And after closing the wallet, the purse file itself disappears!

please make sure you download the wallet from an official source,

either https://trezarcoin.com  or https://github.com/TrezarCoin/TrezarCoin/releases

- can you explain what you mean by "the purse file itself disappears!" ??

by

It's not an error but a warning. Your pool software is not alligned with the new wallet technologies like bitcoin. The 0.16 ufo codebase is alligned with btc. Please upgrade your pool software to allow btc and ufo mining.
Some cmds have been replaced from old codebase.

really thanx bro awesome, but the BIG question is how to upgrade my pool XD

Depending on what pool software you're running you need to check the github and see if they've added a fix..then you can just update from Upstream fairly easily.

I run a few pools and use node-stratum  - so I had to update the code there to get my UFO pool working correctly

you can check it https://www.frrsan.com/

yiimp scrypt

checking the frontend means nothing,  if you paste  a gitthub link I can check the source and try to point you to the right direction

https://github.com/PedroLEGA/yiimp_install_scrypt

thanx for trying helping me rly thanx bro

i really recommend you read up on how mining pools work and get your self familiar with the code...

https://github.com/tpruvot/yiimp/pull/250/files .  I believe that is the fix you need to implement, that fix is from the upstream of this fork https://github.com/PedroLEGA/yiimp.git  which is what the yiimp install script clones.

Hope that helps.
