Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 10000 miners

Hi Patrike,

I have created 2 rules for my managed miner

1 each day at 11pm run managed template (to change to a custom miner and custom pool only comand line, no api)
2 each day at 8 am return again to managed miner, but the only way to make it work again is stopping the miner and manually (contextual menu "convert to managed miner")

Is there any other way to by time trigger switching between managed tamplate and managed miner profile?

Thanks
There are currently no rule actions for converting between Managed Miner and Managed Profit Miner. I will note your request for this and it should be easy to implement.

This will be awesome for my miner  Cheesy, thanks in advance Patrike, meanwhile is there any command or c#script action that could i use?

difficulty d=15 is recommended by the developer of Dutch Pool over Discord Channel. I am using it without any issue.
thanks. which port 9986? extraounce enabled?
what i dont get is x10 according to whatstomine is more profitable with mygrosl. but mining dutch btc per Hash shows that qubit > mygrls any idea why?

stratum+tcp://myrgro.mining-dutch.nl:9986, d=21
stratum+tcp://qubit.mining-dutch.nl:6662, d=15
stratum+tcp://skein.mining-dutch.nl:9998, d=15

For me working very well

what do you use for Mining dutch for multiport for Difficulty?Huh
always wants to mine the most profitable coin, wanted to try it out to see if it really works better than going straight to a coin
dont have much luck with mining dutch with X10. anyone else using it?

Me... in Mining-dutch you have to stay for long, to see real profit, currently, the best option is myr-gr; I have set the diff at 21; d=21, best results for me, about 12 to 16 per day

Updated to V4.5  Any detailed info on setting up mining Dutch?  I had it mining it showed most profitable in details but nothing showing in coin total per day.
I made an account on mining dutch and used my User name as worker (Username.1).  But doesnt seem to be working correctly

Any help much appreciated

Better you should keeping away mining-dutch, stats of this pool are very inacurate, especially for Skein, Qubit, Quark, and Myr-gr; way lower than expected, have tested too with scrypt, same bad results

Could you please help me with this rule creation?

Thanks in advance

@Patrike - Feature Suggestion

Can you add logic to detect when the currently mining coin/algo has dropped X% below whatever is currently at the top of the profit list? I have 30 min switching setup, but often coins/algo's are only profitable for a few minutes then drop waaaaaaaaay down the list, mining unprofitably for most of the time. It would be AWESOME for AwesomeMiner to detect this automatically and initiate a switch.

Thank you!

Second this!!

Hi Patrike

I would like to ask you, Is there any way to create an additional rule, time based  (5 min for example) that searches within daily profit panel window (USD, EUR, BTC.. whatever were specified) and based in some kind of expected percent or threshold, triggers profit switching?

For example if daily profit estimated value, goes under 20USD (what ever we want to specify) activate profit switching and change to most profitable at the moment, if there is any

Thanks

Hello
Is there a way to build the Baikal X10 and B into the Awesome Miner for Profitswith?
Is there any guidance for this or is there something on Youtube.
I would be very happy about a link.

I have good experience with AM (AntMiners, RIGS, Baikal, X10) But english is not my native language, i am spanish speaker, my english is poor, i have helped some people with the configuration of AM, via TeamViewer, I could help you if you want, obviously all by your sight, each TeamViewer movement, or configuration, you could be able to verify in real time, however... I recommend a threshold of 20 and for profit switching time not less than 30 min an max 3 pools for profit

What about awesomeminer and Baikal X10? I have zero experience with that tool. Installed and added my API IP+port. Now I see a external Device, state is "running", but no more infos like hashrate is visible.

Who is more experienced with this tool? Can we use it with X10?

Yes you can, set a coin, and a profit profile with baikal supported algos; if pools are not supported by AM, you have to asign a coin to use profit switch, otherwise, you will never see any mining reported value, to take in count to conditioned profit switch

--user s3c70r , even if in the properties I have "Add to workername" checked, it doesn't pass the workername to command line.

We should read --user s3c70r.Rig02

Miningpoolhub doesnt allow connections without a login followed by a workername. ( login.Workername )

I have a s3c70r.Rig01 defined globally in the profit switching section of options to work around the bug.

Please fix ASAP.
I will investigate. Thanks for reporting

btw, your poll is locked so no one can vote Smiley

haha oops, I thought nobody cared Wink

This may be a big ask, but can you have it so we can easily switch between different mining pools.  For instance, I've found myself frequently switching between having NiceHash and Suprnova as my primaries.  It would be great if I could have a second profile that has entirely different pools, or a different order (whatever the user sets).  In this way, I can easily switch my miners to a different pool profile.  It gets tedious to update 5+ miners when its time to change which pool they are operating on.
I second that! Good suggestion!

Awesome Miner is capable to switch between pools based in profitability at the moment, reboot AntMiners based in time, or HW errors, or Low hashrate, set default pools and more, just set privileged api and its done

Hi Blissz, could you please explain me why when running a D3 with your mod, at 220v triphase (500 Mhz in both cases, at 10th level Volt global) I get more AMP consumption (mesured with ammeter)

Your mod gives 5 AMP at 500Mhz, level 10 global
Default Bitmain's 4.6 AMP at 500MHZ

As far as i have read, A= W/V, so W=A*V? then, in my particular case, consumption should be higer with your mod or am i wrong?

Which batch you have and what AMP meter do you use?
Actually I found out that voltage setting "13" is the bitmain's default voltage for the October batch, so it's strange that you're seeing more amps on setting 10 actually.

The things you can try:
1) Can you try to lower the voltage setting (ie to Cool to get upto 4.6 AMP or do you see HW errors if you do so?
2) set the FAN to a static value (ie 50%) and check the chip temperatures to compare. Chip temps will give a good indication of the wattage being used.

What could be the relaton betwen Chip temp/wattage?

October batch at 537 Mhz default, before flashing your mod i have lowered my 3 D3 to 500 Mhz because had a lot of HW, indeed, flashing and tweaking with your mod, i haven't be able to correct the HW. Furthermore, the lowest temp of the chips i have had,  is 87-89º at 28º ambient, mine are too hot, i wil take a pic of the ammeter tomorrow, is the one of a clamp to test by cable, i have Bitmain's PSU in each one, at 220v, please a little patience with my poor english, thanks

I have flashed the mod in 1 AntD3, but after testing with an Ammeter i have noticed that AMPs has increased:

- Original's Bitmain Firmware: 4.6 AMP |  3 PCB 500MHz

- Blissz moded Firmware: 5.0 AMP | 3 PCB 500Mhz | set at 8 (Voltage)

Isn't it related a higher AMP to a higer power consumption?

Hi Patrike, is possible to create a rule to periodically change of mining pool (by specified time, not by profit) something like each 6 or 8 hours?  Could you please provide an example? Thanks
You can define a rule with a Time trigger that fires at 6 AM, with the action Miner Command -> Change Pool to YourPool#1
Then you define a second rule, with a Time trigger that fires at 2 PM, with the action Miner Command -> Change Pool to YourPool#2
Then a third...

Please make sure that all three rules are enabled once you added them.

Hey Patrike

I setup four rules 6 hours a part to switch pools and no pools switched after 6 hours, so i set it to switch every hour with two rules, it still didn't switch pools with GPU mining.
Haven't tired with ASIC miners yet i saw it's possible ...

Is there more i need on I might have turned off ? ...

I have tried with AntMiners, works like a charm.

Patrike is possible to add mining-dutch.nl Pool to AW?
