So you still see no need to patch the Wallet against all the Problems that popped up in the last Weeks? This takes one of your 8 Developers 1-2 Hours max to fix all Problems.
Make it another 2 Hours to implement some sort of KGW/DGW/NGW Solution.

There will be no growth if the technical base of the coin, the Hearth for all your other projects, is in such a bad shape as it is today!

Its hard to believe all your claims if even the most basic things for a coin ARE NOT BEING DEALT WITH.

So here is my deadline for you. Fix the wallet within 1 Week or i will remove the IRC Chan, the IRC Bot, P2Pool Scanner and the other things i done for this coin.

+1 : I'm still short more than 50,00 octocoin due to a transaction that is in limbo from a wallet error that keeps occurring

Is there a wallet update yet? Octo wallet is broken and there is problem when you transfer huge amounts of coins..... Those coins stuck at 0/confirmation in network, you ll be able to get back on balance with salvagewallet option but still you cant use them for some reason and i dont know why...  Angry

A couple of weeks ago I transferred over 300k 888 from my old wallet to a new one just to prove a point.  There was no problem.  Do you have the latest wallet?

I recently had a similar issue, only I was sending from an exchange. Can they run a salvage wallet?

Hey, I was the guy the other day with the 50000 Octos than weren't getting confirmed in his wallet....

I am still waiting and I really don't know who to ask for help!

txid: 50425a0634776962195dae53ed843b02361aa1532f13f1455f65c9b4ff4e13ec

the transaction doesn't show up in the block explorer for some reason, the transaction detail from my wallet are below.

Status: 0/unconfirmed

Transaction ID: 50425a0634776962195dae53ed843b02361aa1532f13f1455f65c9b4ff4e13ec

I sent this same basic message to the Octocoin dev but haven't heard anything yet. The transactions been sitting in my wallet for a couple days now unconfirmed. There must be something that can be done right, it'd be pretty damn upsetting to loose out on 50000+ Octocoin. The transaction happened around the time the block explorer site went off line, is it possibly related??

1. Make a backup of your wallet.dat
2. Create a shortcut of octocoin-qt.exe
3. Right-click on the shortcut -> properties
4. Write "-salvagewallet" behind the command in the target line (like octocoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet)
5. Save it
6. Double-click on the shortcut
7. If the wallet is broken, replace it with your backup wallet (still hold a copy of it!)
8. You should be fine

In case this has helped i´m happy about a donation Smiley 8JjBADhWXvziemzRdk7ivxxkpE1odjcgzh

Thank you, I will try this when I get home!  Smiley

Now my wallet just doesn't show the 50000 at all. I take it I'm screwed.

Seems the block explorer is down... I just bough 50000+ octo from xnigma and haven't seen it in my wallet yet, yet I'm seeing regular deposits from edrics pool. Anyone here have any recommendation as to how I can sort this out?

Block explorer will be back up shortly - even though we weren't using SSL for the block explorer, the Nginx and Apache servers on that machine were affected by Heartbleed and the machine is temporarily offline. OpenSSL has been updated to the latest version and new private keys are being generated/etc so what's that's all done, everything will be back online. This would be unrelated to your issue, of course. Did you confirm the Xnigma withdrawal via email?

I talked with Xnigma last night, there support was great. Nothing showed up last night, but this morning I see the transaction but its still sitting with 0 confirmations. Which is weird because I've have a bunch of transactions between then from Edric's mining pool.

Would a larger transactions inherently take longer to go through? (I'm still a bit of a crytpo noob)

look at spain coin it has already reached 3$ each and it was 50% premined from the admin.

Why can
Whne we get on exchangers dont put the price below 50k sat people. Onnly 50mil coins can be worth a lot!

An important note about this is if we get sales at a good price like this, Faircoin will enter coinmarketcap at a high position and get noticed by a lot of people (espacially traders) and will help to generate buzz. So set solid sell prices benefits everyone. With enough buzz even those with no faith in the coin can get out without killing it in the process.

octocoinpool [dot] tk was showing my hashrate active for about an hour but haven't gotten any coins credited for that hour,  (1630-1730 EST) confirmed or unconfirmed.

the pool is lagging, u should get your coins soon

Yes, our payout cron is acting a bit sluggish, it has to run more than once before payouts are processed. Everything is working fine, though, everyone's getting paid and mining is proceeding as normal. In fact, I have the pool set for 10 confirmations for the time being. That could be part of why payouts are running a bit slow but AFAIK we're paying out quicker than most pools.

Any estimation on the expected delay, I did a payout of 27 coins about 2 hours ago and have yet to see them. Earlier in the day I did a small test pay for I am sure my address is working.

Pools are getting DDosed again and others are dumping the coin throw it off any competition. Happened last night Buy BLACKCOIN if you can.

It is only the multipools selling the coins they have been mining driving the prices back down. Each time it's get to be the most profitable coin the multipools setup and and knocks it's back down.

Exactly, if you plan to ride this out, watch for these moments and buy. It's pretty simple. EVERY SINGLE COIN GOES THROUGH THIS.

I have a problem on hashfever. I'm mining but haven't got a transaction for 3 hours now..

Pretty sure I'm having the same issues, didn't realize as I was busy playing with the logo design. Anyone else on hashfever?

Personal opinion: I don't think the tweak to the 'B' adds anything. Looks arbitrary to me, and less clean. Just my take.

I tend to agree, it takes away from the clarity.

Um...wouldn't that be hitting it over the head a bit? It's already borderline cliche - as much as I love the graphics and font, I'd consider doing away with the tag-line. Definitely not adding to it.

Slogan is only there for "visualization" I wouldn't expect it to stay.

Removed it and played with the B shape a bit

Who are these dummies selling for less than 5,000? This can be another #Mintcoin for all of us if these miners had some balls and let this coin breathe. So let's let it breathe dudes (and dudettes) ! Though realistically I know one post in a forum will not de-fang the emergent properties of the hive-mind. Proceed and leave the profits to us.

I only wish I had more BTC to scoop up cheap BC.  Embarrassed

Yep, it's not the same pump after coming as that in the past, because before they haven't any real competitor.

It's getting enough volume on Mintpal alone and I'm starting to use Mintpal and other exchanges more than Cryptsy.

Agreed, a few more major coins like VTC and I can seen Mintpal being my exchanges for 90% of my trading.
