Don't worry Baz will be back in 12 months, claim he was abducted by aliens, and bring out Grow 3. Scam a few more people out of their money and run away again. Thing is people will be daft enough to fall for it.

Its ridiculous that we allow people to actually just run and gun like this... over and over again from the looks of it. Really kills the altcoin industry forever when this dumb shit happens and bitcointalk is responsible for keeping an eye over this type of activity.

Good idea to find out id this DEV is doing multiple projects and having pump groups pumping coins and then dumping them and leaving. I ave heard that there a few devs doing this over and over again. It's really quite sad.
mods can we get a response on this idea?

Most definitely a shame dev didn't follow through, I find it very odd that he/she hasn't logged on from June 10th with previous good activity, strange.. 
I agree I do not think he intended to just abandon this project.
Alot of people on here have more than 1 account. He is most likely not logging into this one because it is connected with this scam. He restarted the coin with the sole purpose of dumping his old grow coins to make a couple of BTC. It's amazing what some people will do for a few bucks.

assuming this is true... everyone here was/is an idiot and never asked this question before? I would hope someone was keeping an eye out for red flags like this...makes me question any altcurrency like this for the future

Would not surprise me if Placebo was actually Barry, or purchased the account from Barry. He has a checkered past with coins like ROS, another weed coin he was involved with.

randomly I do notice http://chipcoin.info/ is hosted on the same name server that growcoin was using for their domain. Thats interesting I would say.
and a little further... both domains were registered with namecheap and using private whois .... barry is that another you got holding to burn next?
