There's a link in the OP for a giveaway of 1 twe... not sure if it's ended yet.

GPU mining does work. make sure you're using the twecoin kernel... you might need to update sph-sgminer first.

Also, I haven't mined this for a while but http://twe.nonce-pool.com/ was where I did most of my mining

Just finished trying that pool out that you mentioned and it also doesnt work. Keeps showing: "Cannot solve  stratum+tcp"..
