I've cashed out all I had yesterday for $10k AUD each. I think the "free money" is a red herring and there's more chance of both chains combined being valued less than BTC today alone, than there being two highly valued working chains post-fork.
I'll be in cash and on sidelines assessing the market, then maybe put some in alts till the dust has settled.

Hi, is there a "support" thread ? Because i can't get my desktop wallet to sync :/
I think if you not sync the wallet yet is better for you to contact the dev team in slack or direct at their website office or support email.
If you have a problem/question about your account at poswallet.com, please join in Slack https://poswallet.signup.team/

Thanks mate. But for an unknown reason, it's now syncing, after 3 days of waiting... and i did nothing ! Smiley
You sure you did nothing?

Mine is stuck at 581 blocks remaining.

Re: Plexcoin: the reasons that make me think it's a great scam!
by

on 29/09/2017, 06:44:50 UTC
There are some big names behind Plexcorps, and they are changing the cryptocurrency game. To reveal their identities would be stupid and they would end up dead or severely blackmailed... they are giving a major F-you to the central banks of the world and need to remain anonymous. Their Plexwallet will end the need for exchanges as you will be able to do something similar to what is known as atomic swaps, between different cryptos directly from the Plexwallet.

PlexWallet, PlexCard and PlexBank is changing the industry. Their coin will actually be used as a currency unlike other scam coins which have no utility. Why wait in line at foreign exchange office when you can use the PlexCard to withdraw at any ATM in that ATMs fiat.

"Did you know that PlexBank will allow you to protect your cryptocurrency from the market’s fluctuations, to pay your daily bills with your cryptocurrency, to borrow a cryptocurrency amount or to lend money to other people? PlexBank will secure the loans from any potential fraud.

These operations will be possible with any cryptocurrency (PlexCoin, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Zcash, Ripple, Dash, etc.). PlexBank will be the only decentralized bank that you will require to fulfill your financial needs."

Crypto and Asset backed collateral lending with PlexBank... What more can I say. Once Plex goes to market the adoption rate of cryptocurrency will go through the roof because the process of getting into it will be so simple even your grandmother can use it.

If Plex was a scam they'd do the same thing all scam coins are doin which is follow the rules on "How to launch a succesful ICO" post pictures and names of people that scam ICO's use over and over again and no one seems to notice. But no they are not doing that.

This is just my 2 cents, take it with a grain a salt.

What big names? Stop talkin such utter horse shit.

There's one name behind the scam and that's Dominic Lacroix. A convicted fraudster and a well known scammer. Google his name and find out for yourself.

As for plexcoin, if anyone is dumb enough to invest then he/she deserves to be ripped off.

Is latoken hitting any major exchange? Or how is the price going to rise? If so, when do you plan to list on exchanges
Many coins after the release on the exchange get boosted because of their novelty. So do not miss the moment, if you want to earn some money
Don't contributors look to sell all their tokens on the first day of trade?
It's very silly to sell tokens on the first day
I've invested in new tokens before where the first day of trading turned out to be the best day to sell.

plexcoin? I have just heard his name, is this the best altcoin?
if anyone knows about plexcoin please explain
Do you even bother reading 3 pages of posts before commenting?
Almost everyone has explained that it's the most obvious scam if there ever was one.
At this stage anyone sending money or coins to these fraudsters deserves to pay the price for stupidity.

I have not heard about it but I  am thinking is going to be one of the best project. This current moment when all the coins are in down world or in bearish market I think the best time to invest in this type of coins called gravity. My advise to all trader is that now is the best time to invest in altcoins as most of them are very cheap now.
You never even heard of it but think it'll be one of the best projects?

Regardless if its a scam or not, the idea of creating a card where you can just swipe it up and pay using your coins is a convenient way of spending it. The need to convert and have it transferred to your bank for it to be spent is being taken off by just a simple swipe. I'm not sure about the authenticity of this coin since my resources are a bit limited but i'm quite interested with them creating a card. A lot of criticisms are surrounding this coin and i for one can't help but think, is this coin really legit or what.
Don't be stupid. If you want a card to spend your coins there are all sorts of different ones available and have been available for years. Who converts and transfers coins to bank account today anyway?
If you want to spend your coins conveniently, get one of the established cards like bitpay spectro tenx coinjar and whatnot.
Plex will never have a card, the people behind it are known fraudsters from Canada Dominic Lacroix and his mates. Banned from working in the financial sector for defrauding customers with all sorts of credit frauds and scams, now they've turned to crypto, but the AMF raided his office and seized the whole mailing list of the first plexcoin users, and sent an official warning out to all.

That people after all that still send money to him is absolutely unbelievable.

Re: How to get bitcoin every days?

...
You need a margin account with at least 1:100 leverage, alternatively you could trade with a smaller leverage on sites like Poloniex and Bitfinex.

...

I really don´t think that there is any exchange or trading site that offers 100:1 leverage with assets that are as
volatile as cryptocurrencies.
E.g. at Bitfinex maximum leverage is 3.3:1 , which is a far cry from 100:1 leverage.

Why would you need 100:1 leverage in the first place? There is serious money to be made with 3:1 or 5:1 leverage (which is possible
at Kraken).
True, SimpleFX offers up to 1:500 on Forex pairs for small accounts. BTC-E used to offer 1:10 for cryptos until they got shut down, but yeah with such volatility 1:3 is enough.
Poloniex is another one with 1:3 leverage.

Re: How do you send Bitcoin without using an exchange?
by

Sorry guys, I shouldn't have used the word exchange. I should have said third party. Meaning any kind of wallet software that you have to download or sign up for.

It just seems like anyone should be able to send Bitcoin without downloading someone else's software without knowing what is really going on.
You need a third party wallet to generate your keys. Where you store your keys is up to you but in any case you do need a wallet.

Re: Kako kupujete svoj bitcoin?
by
addie77
on 03/09/2017, 00:08:33 UTC

$4000 is enough for an initial investment to earn $40 a day with trading. I usually earn more than that but I also have an extensive experience in FOREX trading in the last 12 years or so.
You need a margin account with at least 1:100 leverage, alternatively you could trade with a smaller leverage on sites like Poloniex and Bitfinex.

I prefer SimpleFX because I want to use Meta Trader and there just aren't many other exchanges or trading platforms offering altcoins on MT4.

SimpleFX has BTC and a few other coins like ETH LTC DASH ETC and XRP, but their spreads are huge and untreadable short term. Therefore I only trade BTC/USD, AUD/USD, USD/JPY, XAU/USD and XAG/USD (last 2 are gold and silver spot).

My daily target is set at $50 with a maximum loss capped at $100 a day. If I happen to exceed the daily target of $50, profits are locked in via trailing stops and winning trades left to run until either take profit or stop loss are hit. These bonus profits cover losses on bad days.

Initial investment was 200 LTC back when Litecoin was around $25, totalling around $5000. Now the account has 360 LTC plus almost quadrupled value of Litecoin, it is sitting around $28,000 in less than a year.

Probably not, but you have a direct link between cryptocurrency and payment. Sites like Amazon, don't allow payment with Crypto.
This way, I don't have to wait 5 days for my bitcoin to arrive in my bank account.
WTF where do you live when you have to wait 5 days to cash in your BTC?
There's quite a few providers out there that offer debit cards that can be loaded with your crypto and cashed out at any ATM.
It takes me a minute or to transfer BTC to card and hold cold hard cash in my hand in Australia through Coinjar.

Do you know any crypto debit cards provider that doesn't require id or address verification or have high limits? thanks

https://www.weusecoins.com/bitcoin-debit-cards/

Spectrocoin card is one of those that doesn't require registration/verification.

There's always a chance of conspiracies, major miners and pools initially pretending a complete dismissal and no support for BCC, until most of it is dumped and price hit rock bottom, only to miraculously announce a change of heart and start providing support or exchanges suddenly opening markets for it like Coinbase announced yesterday?
Just a thought.

Wonder how many millions and millions are stuck in couch cracks, swept under carpets or are rotting away in rubbish dumps...

I like how you weren't disappointed that it was only one Bitcoin you purchased back then and not more. When was it and how much fiat did you fork out if you remember?
I remember getting intrigued very early on around 2010 when I first downloaded and installed the core and only because I got distracted and/or found it difficult to find out how to buy Bitcoin with AUD, I gave up and forgot about it.
But to answer your question, all depends what you're prepared to risk. Low risk option is always put it on a trustworthy exchange in the funding wallet and collect interest from traders who will borrow it for margin trading.

I think this is an absolutely obvious scam, but judging by their Facebook page, it will sadly attract a lot of naive people who in my opinion all will lose their money.
As soon as I pointed that out they blocked me from posting on their FB page.

I think a warning should be pinned because their apparent pre-sale starts in two days.

Their white paper published today is an absolute joke, check it out here: plexcoin.com/whitepaper
