Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency?
by

on 03/02/2020, 06:36:00 UTC
These are good things to consider when investing in cryptocurrencies. We can call it the basic standards. I’d stress the importance of seeing both the integrity and the technical capabilities of the team. But to make sure that the crypto project will remain relevant in the future and not just be a Bitcoin or Ethereum copycat, try to understand if the crypto project addresses a specific pain point or if there is a market need for it.

It is good of you to remain in faith in cryptos because it will be rewarded. Not that I'm overhyping, but the recently-concluded Davos conference of the World Economic Forum proves that many world leaders are taking crypto very seriously. Aside from the upcoming Bitcoin halving, which will enable the crypto to shoot up in price, WEF has established what it calls the Global Consortium for Digital Currency Governance. This is on top of Facebook preparing to launch Libra. Hodl and you will get rewarded.

BitcoinBTC started 2020 by hitting $9k twice. Many are bullish about this coming year, and we would expect you to be correct in investing in Bitcoin. We can also say the same in altcoins. However, make careful investments in them. Try to invest in only 3-5 altcoins for the time being. Until you become more confident in the market, try to stick to the altcoins that you are most comfortable with. Read more about Cryptocurrency trends in 2020.

How did it go? At this time you can predict which of these altcoins will thrive based on their functionality and how many people are using them. I don't want to single out any altcoin, as each has its own use. Cheers. Its only a matter of time before cryptos rule.

The answer to that question may be more complicated than one hopes. In most cases, it is better to participate in an IEO and sell afterward than invest after the IEO. But that doesn't happen all the time. Take a look at Binance Coin and you see what I mean. Bottom line is, one needs to do a complete background check of the product before investing.

Bitcoin dominance has been like that for quite a considerable amount of time now. But that won't be sufficient reason to say that altcoins are being "boycotted". Many people still invest in altcoins. It's just that Bitcoin is the people's safe place to retreat to when the altcoins underperform.

Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space?
by

on 12/01/2020, 11:27:22 UTC
Scam projects have indeed damaged and nearly killed many legitimate cryptocurrencies. The entire crypto space has been affected even though it will never be “killed” by these. There are many well-informed and powerful persons and well-established companies that have committed themselves to the blockchain. However, 2019 saw the least amount of money that went to ICOs. Nevertheless, a lot of big companies have already begun investing heavily in blockchain. Crypto will never be dead as long as there will be people who are well aware of the schemes of scammers. we found this ADN blog very helpful in verifying the legitimacy of any ICO.

One consequence of having bad actors in any industry is the tainting of the reputation of the good ones. Especially in crypto, many potentially-disrupting projects fail to receive funding and support from good developers because of the abundance of scam projects, which are still being entertained by naive crypto investors. There are still good projects out there; one only has to browse through stacks of listed cryptos on exchanges and dedicate time for research. know more about your crypto-investment portfolio read our blog Thank you.

Re: Why we buy new token or coin?
by

on 19/12/2019, 10:11:14 UTC
We understand the reluctance, especially since many of these in the past have proven to be scams. Also, the current market is not very friendly toward cryptocurrencies. But researchers agree that it would take about 5 years before blockchain reaches mainstream adoption. By that time, there will be cryptocurrencies that will skyrocket in price and adoption. Those people who invest in them now will reap hundredfolds. That is why we shouldn’t close the door on new cryptos. But then again, the decision is yours.

Re: What is the safest way to buy crypto?
by
adncoin
on 14/11/2019, 06:36:24 UTC
To answer your question, non-custodial exchanges are relatively safe. But if you want a better method, get yourself a cold wallet so you can store your funds there. If you are not planning to buy huge amounts of cryptocurrency that you will need to withdraw as soon as you can, then you can make an account on any popular exchange and purchase there. Then, send the funds to your cold wallet. That way, only you will have access to your funds. Don’t lose your cold wallet though, as no one else will be able to retrieve it — not even you or the hackers.

Re: Reality of tokens

This is an example of a skill that could be misused. When we began to embrace decentralization, this is one of the possibilities that have come with it. However, we can teach more members of the crypto industry to be more careful when dealing with these. We shouldn’t put the cart before the horse by prioritizing cryptocurrency as a get-rich-quickly scheme. We should get crypto to become a more viable and available payment method. After that should we worry about getting rich with our crypto investments?

Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k?
by
adncoin
on 04/11/2019, 11:26:25 UTC
Experts say that it isn't expected so, since one of the things that brought the alt season in 2017 was the surge of new investors who believed Bitcoin was priced too high. This time, it might not be the same. The market is more mature now, and if Bitcoin reaches 20k, then they will think it is bound to reach even more, as many bulls have already made ridiculous predictions, with John McAfee even saying he will cut his manhood.

Nevertheless, everything is possible with crypto, and no one can really be 100% sure about the market in the future.

Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first
by
adncoin
on 20/10/2019, 09:37:50 UTC
This is now an obsolete assumption. Reports show that there is now less money being raised by ICOs compared to the 2017 bull run, proving that there are fewer and fewer people that invest in those startups.
IEO exists now, and crypto exchanges that list the new coin/token make a careful review of it before they list it at the expense of getting a percentage of the sales as their payment for facilitating the said event.

Re: Altcoin's future.
by

on 17/10/2019, 09:21:20 UTC
If there's one thing that cryptocurrencies have taught us, it's that you can never really tell what will happen. In every year that passes, the price of each cryptocurrency changes, there are new altcoins that are being introduced, and new regulations are being drafted. Within the crypto industry, we don't expect a lot of changes to occur. But once regulations have been finalized and new players have joined the crypto game, we can expect the top cryptos to either rise higher or topple to give way to the newer ones.

No person in his right mind would invest in any digital currency without doing his prior research. That is why you need to analyze the project’s whitepaper to understand the technologies involved, the number of listings, the roadmap, just to name a few. You also need to consult with crypto trading circles and credible news sites to gauge the potential profit of the new coin you are planning to invest in.

Re: IEO is much effective than ICO nowadays.
by
adncoin
on 01/10/2019, 12:20:46 UTC
In terms of security, IEO is relatively better than ICO or STO especially if the exchange holding the said crowdfunding scheme has a good reputation. Convenience-wise, IEO is also better since the exchange facilitating the token sale will instantly list the token on its platform once the crowdfunding has concluded. However, not all platforms are perfect. Given that a majority of cryptocurrency exchanges are centralized, there is the possibility of them getting hacked. Also, since they are not decentralized, they take fees for facilitating the token sale. We believe another feasible option is creating an investment protection mechanism for maintaining ICO security and quality.

What are the factors you look into when diversifying your crypto portfolio?
by
adncoin
on 01/10/2019, 10:57:38 UTC
In crypto investing, many of us have been taught to diversify our crypto portfolio to reduce risks. The idea sounds nice and noble, but if you don’t do it correctly, it’s practically bad. Basically, you will just be giving away free money on a cryptocurrency that might not even take off after its ICO. Worse, if the market goes to the bear territory, many (if not all) of your altcoins will take a free fall. That is not what you really have in mind, do you?
Diversifying your portfolio is only one step in the right direction. To take the second and third steps, you need to become diligent and to have foresight. In this blog, we provide the most insightful information we have gathered to help you succeed at diversifying your portfolio and earn profits out of cryptocurrency investments.

Re: How do you use crypto?
by
adncoin
on 01/10/2019, 06:31:28 UTC
Cryptocurrencies have a plethora of uses. ADN utilize it for peer-to-peer transactions (buying, trading, selling). Many of these cryptocurrencies also have other uses. For example, Ether is used for creating decentralized applications on the Ethereum blockchain, while other tokens are used for accessing services for other platforms. You can linger more in crypto platforms and find cool services.
