Re: 2020 best year for ICO
by
adolf512
on 06/02/2019, 21:11:51 UTC
I think that this year we will see the emergence of new excellent projects. I for example participate in one project since last year and I am one hundred percent sure of it. 2020, subject to market growth, will again be saturated with new ICO.

In order for new worthy projects to appear and investors invest in them, we need to have some certainty on the market with regulation of the market for ICO projects and, thus, the number of scammers has decreased. After that, perhaps the situation will improve ...

Re: 2018 is not a year of profit making, but for investments

The downward trend that began in 2018 continues to this day, so we have the opportunity to accumulate as many coins as possible. Although not everyone is willing to invest in cryptocurrencies in such an uncertain situation.

It can be assumed that there will be no significant changes in Q1, but to be honest, I believe that predictions will not lead to anything good, since it is impossible to predict the future.

Re: why many ico launch with ETH ?
by
adolf512
on 03/02/2019, 19:12:45 UTC
I guess ethereum platform is very easy to launch a project compare to other platform if that is what you mean, ethereum has made it easy for anyone to launch a project at any time.

That's not true, for example waves is much more easier than Ethereum and even cheap. The main point why most projects pick up Etheuem over the others is because of its popularity, reputation without forgetting there was a big hype that ethereum could end up superpass bitcoin in some point in future which is unlikely to happen now.
Ethereum has really gained great popularity, and it is more popular than the same Waves, but this is not casual, and I think this is well deserved. the only problem is that many projects accepted ETH when conducting an ICO, now some of them sell eth , which affects the price reduction.

Re: No Regrets in cryptocurrency
by
adolf512
on 03/02/2019, 10:25:13 UTC
Due to the volatility of the market and the possibility of missing out in great profit, we tend to regret our decisions and wish we had made a different choice. We all have reasons to regret, but it's best we appreciate every move made. I've come to realise that every disappointment is a step towards greater success. Every experience is essential towards getting a wholesome knowledge about the industry. Success won't be appreciated, if nothing like failure existed. We need to be knowledgeable on all sides and appreciate every opportunity and experience the cryptocurrency space has to offer. Let's enjoy the ride in its entirety.
Well said, but now there is no reason for joy, there is only hope that the situation on the market will improve and prices will rise.

Re: Opinions about the emergence of new Coins
by

At the moment, projects are not in a hurry to conduct ICO and generate their tokens, because everyone is waiting for the improvement of market conditions, so there are practically no new, really useful technologies / projects. But if there are new projects, they have no effect on Bitcoin.

Re: All ICO driven altcoins will drop to zero in the longterm. Just by logic.
by
adolf512
on 02/02/2019, 08:44:06 UTC
It´s completely clear that all Coins/Tokens will be valued zero. Why?

1) Because they are not securities. You don´t own any shares of the companies. You don`t get any dividends from their gains in the future (if any of them has the capability to earn FIAT money in the future).
2) ICO ... Initial Coin Offering, it´s just an other form of crowd funding. What´s the main problem with this approach? You finance the companies business operations. They must sell their tokens to sustain running their business. Or do you think they earn money other than in cryptocurrency? No, they don´t. It will last until all tokens are sold, then this companies are down and out. Simple. You sit on worthless tokens. Scams are just the rapid version of this process. Would ever a venture capital company invest FIAT into their business? Zero price is inevitable.
3) Point 1 and 2 are not clear for many users here ... It´s a big pump and dump scheme. Greater fools theory, not more not less.

Now I want to hear your opinions. We don´t talk about Bitcoin here, just about altcoins.
Based on your logic, those coins that we buy or get in some way, you need to sell and hold them does not make sense, because their price will be equal to 0. I do not think so, because each coin has its own value, thanks to its technology, which is supported and enhanced by developers.

It is interesting to read reviews about this exchange, as soon one of my tokens that I have will be traded on this exchange. As far as I understand, this exchange has both positive reviews and negative ones; accordingly, it has advantages and disadvantages, like most other exchanges.

Of course, I am not happy with the situation when the market panic and the prices of our coins falls. but I try not to sell my coins in such cases, but also to buy, too, because I prefer to keep my coins when the situation improves and prices will rise.

Re: Can Bull run bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead Altcoins?
by
adolf512
on 31/01/2019, 19:18:36 UTC
Hello forum members, this question of "Can bull run or bull market bring about the resurrection of good ICOs and also help some good altcoins that are almost dead gain their ground and run their project smoothly?"

How feasible is my reasoning? Kindly shed more lights. Thanks
It is difficult to answer this question, because the cryptocurrency market is very unpredictable, and, as we have at the moment, no predictions lead to anything good. But I still hope that investing in ICO projects will be profitable as before, after the market recovers.

Re: Reasons why ICOs fail
by
adolf512
on 30/01/2019, 20:15:23 UTC
If we take into account the current situation with the reasons for the failure of projects, they can be associated with an unfavorable market situation and, accordingly, with the lack of activity of investors. Also, one of the main reasons is the lack of clarity with the regulation of the market for ICO projects.

Re: Is ETH pursuing an XRP position in the marketcap?
by
adolf512
on 30/01/2019, 19:39:41 UTC
In my observation, ETH's market capitalization is getting better. Maybe in the next few days, ETH will catch up and take the 2nd position occupied by XRP. What do you think about this? Please correct my opinion. Thank you in advance.
As we can see at the moment, XRP still occupies the 2nd position, ahead of ETH, but this is not the most important event to which attention should be paid, since the overall market situation is negative and Bitcoin has fallen below 3,500 dollars. I very much hope that the market situation will improve and ETH will overtake XRP by market capitalization.

Re: Be prepared

Prepare for both sides ,for better or for worse ,I've seem friends jumping up already as if 2019 would bring amazing smiles to everyone's face ,I'm not saying it may not but be prepared even if bakkt ,ETH 2.0 and ETF happens doesn't really mean we will moon ,just be prepared for both, either it goes right or wrong.
Exactly. Next month there will indeed be several important events, but this does not mean that the market will immediately recover and prices will rise (although this is very desirable). It seems that to change the trend in the cryptocurrency market, it will take more time.

For me it has been nearly everyday once for years now.  Grin
Despite the fact that the market is not as volatile as before, and the prices for my coins practically do not grow, I still visit CMC several times a day and check all prices. This is already a dependency  Grin

In February, we expect several important events, such as the launch of the bakkt platform, hardfork Ethereum, and the SEC should resume their work as usual, but to be honest, the market doesn’t react to the news as it was before, so it’s hard for me personally to say what news may affect market recovery.

It's hard for me to say under what conditions I will invest in projects ICO, but at the moment, projects set their own rules, both when conducting an ICO and when conducting a bounty campaign. Most likely, the market for ICO projects will not be the same.

Re: Crypto's worst nightmare
by

One thing I have come to understand is that some projects actually make it through no matter the up and down in the market. The strong will remain strong while the weak will fall apart
You are right, even in such market conditions, some projects continue their development and try to attract funds to create their project and develop technology, but you need to take into account the fact that not all projects / coins remain on the market, some will cease to exist. But I am sure that in the near future the situation will improve, and investing in projects will again bring us profit.

Re: bitcoin dominance is it the END ?
by
adolf512
on 26/01/2019, 22:07:52 UTC
https://prnt.sc/j8ij29
as we can see the bitcoin dominance is getting lower and lower and  i think on long term ethereum will end the dominance
As we see at the moment, ETH dropped to 3rd place, and this means that the dominance of Bitcoin continues and no one can claim it. I hope only that ETH will regain the 2nd position and its price will grow, after the launch of the harforka.
