[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

Re: Hydrominer is making a smart mining farm in Alps

I can gladly say it's not a scam. For now at least. I got in the ICO so maybe my point of view is not very objective but there are a couple of things that i want to underline.
1- Powerplants are real and basically they consist in various mini hydraulic plant, mostly of private property, spread out on the Alps.
2- They lease a certain amount of power, with an option to buy, which otherwise would be sold to the local distribution grid at ridicoulous prices not very convenient for the producers.
3- It's water. Clean. No need to burn coal and gas and other shit.
4- About the token: you basically buy kwh and not H/s for mining. And this is the thing that attracted me. We all know about the difficulty adjustments hence the decreasing ROI over time.
5- Once you buy kwh, tokens are burned. Sustainable business model.

Re: Message from Ripple employee

I don't see anything enthusiastic or exciting in this message, contrarily this is not a good sign for xrp.
Of course they are working hard like as every other team. What is this to do with xrp? ripple is different than xrp and this guys admitted it in his message. they dont care about xrp price, they just want to service banks using their ripple network.

I think you misunderstood the message. They are focusing on Ripple now, attracting more members (banks) without taking their decisions based on XRP value which can be overvalued or not. XRP will recorrect its value in future since it will be just a mirror or a measurement unit of Ripple network success.

About Factom: I'm buying it regardless of pumps and dumps, because I believe it offers real world solutions to real world problems that companies or businesses deal with.
I agree with your price analysis but I'm trying to find the coins with an underlying real value.

About OmiseGO: although they have a very good dev team and they have Vitalik behind, I still don't understand well what's their purpose.
Could anyone give me some clarification about that?

About NEO: Seems very promising.

About ETC and EOS: Can anyone explain me details about pros and cons?

About SONM: I took a look at the project and I found it extremely promising. Opinions?

By having 2 exchanges open and simultaneously buying on one and selling on the other one. It requires you to have deposits on both though

I am not including BTC for now simply because I don't have the money to buy a significant amount
of it in order to make profits. I still have a student loan to pay so BTC is too far right now for me.

I'd like to diversify among a bunch of coins without giving up on depth and BTC won't allow me to do so.

Personally, I believe more in platforms than in currencies. Let me get this straight: in order to get cryptos into
mainstream adoptions, you need to attract companies and retails to use blockchain platforms to provide their services or
products for customers. Only then people will be encouraged to use cryptocurrencies to purchase services and products.
This process will further fuel mainstream adoption and legalization.

But for now, real economy sees cryptoworld as a no man's land, as a mysterious bubble where you can only lose money.

I'm in both for profit and for sustaining decentralization.

What do you mean by low liquidity? A market cap under 10 million USD?

I would suggest you'd reconsider about adding Bitcoin in your portfolio.
You don't need to add a whole Bitcoin, but even smaller amounts could make you a very decent profit in the long term.

I personally do not invest in anything that has to do with ETH.

Thanks for feedback. Well I never rejected it as an idea but I postponed it till graduation when I'll have a much higher revenue ( hopefully ).
Either way, why are you so suspicious about ETH?
I find ETH technology much smoother and helpful in rich countries than currencies.
By this I mean that currencies like BTC and others need some legal feedback from authorities which complicates the whole process imho,
meanwhile, say a company, could adopt any of ETH born platforms for its own business without major legal authorizations and stuff like that.

I'd go all in on STR or XRP (have to choose one) and hold for x10.

About XRP: an x10 increase would mean a market cap of roughly 70 billions. Do you believe it's realistic?

Creazione portafoglio Altcoins
by

Salve a tutti.

- Monero
- Ripple/Stellar
- ETH
- ETC
- Augur ( credo molto in questo progetto )
- EOS ( gradirei saperne di più )
- Litecoin

Per quanto riguarda potenziali futuri "boomers":
- WAVES
- FACTOM
- NXT

Che ne pensate? Grazie in anticipo e buon guadagno a tutti.

Newbie portfolio advice
by

on 11/08/2017, 06:17:14 UTC
Hello everyone,
I've been following the forum for some quite time now and I'd like to slowly but regularly enter the market.
I'm a college student and managed to raise up around 1000$ for a crypto portfolio.
That said, I'm looking for a mid-long term investment since I don't have time for daily trading.
Considering I'm an entry level and the fact that I have a really low budget, I was thinking to create an altcoin portfolio,
excluding thus BTC and ETH for now.

Are there any tips for a newbie ? I already have a financial base training (terminology, wallets ecc).
These are the coins I was thinking at:
- Monero
- Litecoin
- Ripple and Stellar
- ETC
- Augur ( I strongly believe in this project )
- EOS ( I'd like to know more bout this )

As for potential future "boomers" I was thinking at:
- WAVES
- FACTOM
- NXT

Any suggestions are welcome. I wish you all good earning, lads!
