Hi everybody,
I'm new on this forum and in the bitcoin adventure and i would like to try trading
It's seem to be an exciting world that i would like to know.
So i already found some site to survey the value of BTC. Found some platform to sell/buy BTC (even if i don't know yet really how to proceed). But i still need to find a site or addon or program or whatever to keep me informed in real time of the news about BTC. Some times ago tradingview did that but apprently the module doesn't work anymore.
Someone of you have an idea ?

Yes i know ... it's a newbie question but ...Study blockcain read forums but you have to have ability to filter out all airheads.

Register to Local Bitcoins and after you have set up empty valet in local bitcoin .
Try to buy some for cash (dont worry you are safe if you use escrow) protection of local Bitcoins. The crowd following this new industry is generally intelligent since they respect personal freedom. Nobody will try to trick you since you have right to rate theres credit (at yours LocalBitcoin account) after transaction. Therefore pick someone with at least 5 trades and spotless history. I typically do trades in coffee shop and have time to ask a questions and discus opinions.
Once you fell you master concept you move on . I recommend to learn how to store you coins off the computer good is to start with paper valet. Dont move to fast. The only security is your judgment. It is beautiful feeling to be free, but it comes with a lot of need for common judgment.

First MtGox disapears with an BTC fortune and then Neo Bee. Besides them, there are countless mining companies that never refund their clients on empty promises. Sadly, in generall there is to much scamming going on in the BTC to get this mainstream! Noone want to get ripped off. Especially on his/her first encounter with BTC. And sadly, right now, too many people encounter a scam as their first encounter with BTC.
That is why is good time to buy in spring 2014. no guts no glory.
we are in The price drop as was foretasted by majority. Just keep buying. Bitcoin 2 is in the last stages of development. Then all this manipulation by wall-sharks,managers and bankster will be way much complicated!!! For now just support small local s exchanges make it more diversified. LArge exchanges are best for manipulation.
The price is not the problem it is natural effect by manipulation (shake the tree) on the big exchanges in my opinion. Big boys are buy when little guys are scared :-)
I thing we should concentrate on bitcoins only and minimized inflation like effects by supporting all startupcoins any more.
altcoins are/( were) good for development, but best is stay in 21.000.000 unit limit, all benefits of altcoins are coming into bitcoin2 this will operate on many parallel chains and each with different benefits.

I'm Chinese, and working in a bitcoin website, which famous in Chinese bitcoin community. I want to talk some about the ban to bitcoin price.
First, let's forget the China. before Nov. 2013, there is few(very few) bitcoiners in China. Most Chinese knew bitcoin from TV after the price sharp rise in Nov. In Apr 2013, the price of btc strongly fluctuated by other factors including MTGOX hacking. (oh,fxcking mtgox !)
When I decided to invest in btc, I considered this factors, including value storage, international transfer, and anti-inflation needs, but not illegal usages. If give btc a market cap as Visa or Master for the transfer functions, it means 100 billion USD. If give btc 5% mkt cap of Gold(6000 billion)，will be 300b USD.
It is a great value, and not considered any Chinese or Russian issues. We know, Just in United States, there are 300m populations. even 5% of them have 1 btc each, it need 15 million btc, and the BTC only have 21m.
So, the need of US and Europe is very enough to keep the market cap of btc, if btc can really meet their demands. DO NOT need the extra demand from China or Russia.
The trading volume in Chinese exchanges so large is because they provided FREE TRADE. actually, it is not so many trades. And in my view, 99% Chinese "investors" is speculating in short-term trades. And in China, it is no use of bitcoin except speculating. Of course, it is caused by gov banned business to accept btc.
Only I'm worry about is that gov arrest miners and ban mining.(Yes, it is possible in a totalitarian state) But I think it is not possible now. And even they do that, because miner equipment replaces fast, We can deploy new miner machines in other place.
Just do the right thing, and keep btc safe... Don't consider China anymore, If they ban btc, they have no right to decide the fate of btc.

No one can do much about Bitcoin, that is the reality, just keep buying my friend. Some time I might fell like media tools of paper money industry is winning, but reality is It is same like bit-torrents protocol.
More they hate it more it grow. It is just like dogs barking on the Train.

Russians begin to sell off US bonds on the large scale since Friday. I think price of Bitcoin will reflect it soon.

It is insult of the intelligence. There will be more of this A s . I guess we have to do something about users of the blockchan like this. Might be grand them status of let say Bankster that will upper each time they log in .

Just took a look at bitcoincharts under "markets" - where is the volume? It has completely disappeared. Bitstamp, the go-to exchange, is only averaging around 8300 in btc per day average. btc-e and bitfinex add a combined similar amount. Wow!! btcchina at less than 3000 per day! Maybe this isn't that unusual, but I would think extended low volume is not good.
What happens when the miners, who mine 3600 new btc every day, start to sell?
Miners rather keep it. There is no interest for miners to sell and affect price down . Miners are guys whom believe in the concept enough t invest in the mining gear.What happens when the miners, who mine 3600 new btc every day, start to sell?
I thing Few rich Guys from wall street, whom like to get a deal are bluffing in the main stream news. I read it like good sign.
I've put a bit of thought into how I would sell a large amount and have decided it's best to wait for someone else to put up a significant bid wall and eat it quickly - that shouldn't affect the market too much. These large walls go up surprisingly often (manipulators I assume).
I would be really interested to hear other peoples opinions on the best way to do this too. Advice for genuine sellers / buyers who don't intend to day trade - simply buy or sell a large amount.
I'm buy during day for last 3 days. I have posted add in Local Bit.. for only 2% lower then real floating rate I have reasons to believe there is some Bankster minded activities going on to drop the average price. It is LocalBitcoin so majority I can say 90% deal during 9-5
My advertising to buy is near best offers (-2%) some time the best priced offered. People don't sell to much lately. That represent pure market behave.
But at night or 4-5AM some one like to buy 10% 12% UNDER PRICE . I don't thing it is natural behave, I think it is some smartass "uncle Sam".
