I have 8 5700XT
My Red Devil & Sapphire 5700XT does not respond to fan commands in phoenixminer nor afterburner with the latest AMD drivers. is there a solution or workaround for this? Can’t use Radeon software as it resets fancurve if the computer crashes and I’ve tried going back to January drivers (20.5.1) where Phoenix fan commands work but NiceHash crashes the computer upon startup and there are other problems with using Phoenix directly.
I’ve read about the core temp limiter to downclock to avoid overheating but the problem is memory temps that reach beyond 96C due to the low fan curves without option to adjust them.
Is there a solution or fix in coming versions for this?

Afterburner 4.6.2 works just fine with saphhire 5700xt pulse and driver 20.8.1

The problem is amd driver, you can mine a 30mhs in linux with claymore 14.7 and hive os

can you tell me about the best setting strap for R9 390 (not 390X) 8Gb memory
i used 14.7 but only get 19.9 Mh/s for all my cards

you must mining altcoin with low dag-epoh - Expanse(EXP), Ubiq(UBQ), Dubaicoin(DBIX), ect.
old card 39x and 79xx decrise speed with each epoh low and low.

your miner not working for r9 390/390x and fury... even old tahiti with awesome miner
This miner normal work with R9 270X. Therefore it will work this 390/390X, fury and tahiti.I dont know about V1.6.9, but V1.6.8 does not work with R9 390 but it works with Fury(she with HBM memory! If someone worked on optimization for R9 FURY, she would have performed very well on all CN algo!

What is the clock speed and the hash rate?

Well, i am using the latest 17.1.1 on windows 10 on a rig with moddifieds rx470 from sapphire, nice gain 0.5mhs on eth, just intall it your card will have the yellow mark, run the pixel patch 1.4.4, and restart, that's it you are done, running nice an easy with watttool

Testing new MSI 470s cards..
Miner has problems to read FAN speeds, also it reads them wrong.
It makes miner unstable and cards easily crash!
gpuz also hangs on fan readings so must be drivers problem not miner
Setting tt to 0 fixes it.

Hi, can you tell us your hashrate with the 470 from msi, i know they come with 6.7ghz memory

Hello guys, i was using starminer for the last 2 months, now runing minera 0.3.2 with cgminer dmaxl, so far this problems
1. I am runing 5 furys, they start correctly only when i add --zeus-clock option
2. if i enable logging option the miner doesnt start at all
