so, youre looking for 30% profit per bet?
30% is a maximum profit we can get. But we take all the risks and pay for winning bets even if they are not equilibrated.
You can check a popular binary options, and you will see that they have in the best case the same rates.

Which one are you referring to? The popular binary options that I am checking limits profit to 15-20 percent. Only in the shortest expirations outside of regular trading hours requires a 30% edge.

That is the first bitcoin binary options site that I have seen. Will consider this if payouts end up getting increased. I will be loosing money hassle-free at a payout of 70%.

Re: good price to buy bitcoin on the stock market?

You missed the boat (and so did I). Very risky to buy bitcoins for $100, when it was was 30% less just a few days ago. Not often you see the same stock/currency do a parabolic run up twice in one year, although with bitcoin it seems that anything is possible.

Good luck trying to get 4 bitcoins in a hurry for less than the last traded price on mt. gox. If you really want this trade to take place then you should offer a better deal.

Re: will the bitcoin reach $1000 one day...?

I can see the fear starting to spread as the reality that we won't be right back to $100+ in the short-term. I can feel it myself as I have to convince myself to stay in and do my part for strengthening the ecosystem. It's interesting to be a part of this as there is a faith-based aspect which I don't exercise very often. We all hope (at least most) that the price will rise sooner than later, we just have to make due with what we've got right now.

If I was willing a few days ago to buy at $100, then I can only see this as a good thing.  I'm getting the bitcoins that I buy at a MUCH cheaper cost than I was already willing to pay.  How valuable they are to me is not dependent upon how valuable they are to the people who are buying and selling at MtGox (or any other exchange).  I know how much I'm willing to pay for them.  Anything less is a great discount.  Anything more and its time to stop buying and just hold on to them or spend them where possible.  I adjust my opinion about value based on their security, and utility.

It may very well work out for you, but be careful. This was the same philosophy that bankrupted many people when they were buying the high flying internet stocks and kept accumulating all the way down in 2000.

Strange. I don't have a chart pulled up, can you tell me how much bitcoin has declined for the year?

I was planning on picking something up around $40

The more I learn about bitcoin the more concerned I am about the potential. The average person can barely handle fiat money, but bitcoins will be a disaster in the hands of most people.

In the next 3 years, 1 bitcoin will be worth more than 1 oz of gold.

I don't think gold will drop that low.

Re: trading fiat for crypto can be a risk to bitcoins future

Large financials could use their financial largesse to buy up large quantities of the supply of bitcoin in order to undermine it by creating volatility, manipulate its price or reduce bitcoin liquidity. Bitcoins divisibility helps to offset the liquidity aspect for quite a while I suppose.

What do others think? Could this potential threat be combated as bitcoin becomes more of a competitor to the major established financial entities?

This is really no different than what they do with the stock market on a daily basis.

If they succeed they get richer and if they fail we print more fiat money.

There was just a thread the other day were the conclusion was that a USB miner is not going to make you any money unless you get free electricity, so stick with browsing if that makes you money.
