so a follow up,

In order to send transactions im having to rescan every time I start up armory, im not sure why but the issue when im trying to do a transaction and it freezing when I click send and then coming back happens consistently,

any info on why this could be?

Been having an issue the last 2 days where I try to send a transaction but the client just gets stuck for a moment before working again but it doesnt let me click the send transaction button. I was able to send out coins 3 days ago with no issues however this started the day after,

using most current version of armory and core client 0.13.2

going to get these coins graded, to beneficial not to, will be back up in the future once they are back from anacs

alright, i was aware of that but the new thing to me was that the overview tab is not showing any of my transactions and 0.00 balance in both pending and available,

is that normal with this version of this client?

I have just recently updated my computer and had to reinstall my OS and thus the bitcoin client

after importing my wallet the overview tab shows 0.00 bitcoin balance when it is indeed much more than this, it also shows 0.00 pending
 
however in the transactions tab i see all my previous history listed as conflicted transactions when i hover over with my mouse

Blockchain says my bitcoins are still safe but it is a bit alarming as this is the first instance ive encountered of this situation

are my coins still there? the blockchain is still downloading and is 4 years behind but will my coins show up after the block chain is caught up?

I figured out my problem, in case anyone is having similar problems in the future ill add in how I fixed this

I am using linux Mint and for me I had to right click desktop and then select Create Launcher

After this all I had to do was select the Bitcoin QT file located in the tar.gz I downloaded

after it created a desktop icon which launched the Bitcoin Core client

I have run into some issue with my Bitcoin Core Client v.0.9.1

when I download the tar.gz file through Bitcoin.org the file looks like a word file and not an executable, when I try to open this file it reads the following error message,

"Could not display .... Bitcoin QT

there is no application installed for shared library files, Do you want to search for different application to open.."

Just wondering if anyone could offer some advice on how to fix this issue and why it is happening? a few weeks ago when I first downloaded the client nothing seemed to be wrong and when I tried to open my wallet today this happened,

just wondering if heartbleed is any cause for concern regarding changing my wallets current password, I have never used the 0.9.0 client still on version 0.8.6

will downloading the newest version 0.9.1 fix any of the data leaking concerns/possible theft of bitcoin?

after toying around with the cold storage function I should have made the leap sooner,

Bank transfers and wire transfers cannot be reversed unless the sender says it was sent to a wrong account number, while its plausible that I could get scammed using this type of money transmission I will say its doubtful that someone could make the mistake of sending around a quarter million dollars to an incorrect account number

This is why I am also looking for well respected forum members or buyers with a long standing record of being legitimate, it is also in my best interest to do this deal in person at a bank branch and make sure that there is no way for the money to be reversed prior to sending the BTC.
