The site's working fine. A bit slow sometimes on the withdrawal sometimes. Other times it near instant. There's a lot of money to be made in this site. Personally, I'm all in. Reinvesting everything for 4.5 months, then taking the profits.

If I lose, I'm only down a bit. But if I win...

I've bought bittrex leonArdo copy and get an mail message that ask me re-download leonArdo. Then what should I do, where is the license key?

The key is built in to the program. So, re-downloading it should get you going.

Hello.
I have a question.
How long does it take until Kraken.com is supportet?

I would buy https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/ exchange, if it was supported too Wink

Noted, but if I am being honest there are a few ahead of that.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

Of coarse, I know you are workin flat out, just throwing it out there, Smiley
how is the testing going? I just bought an new computer, 16g of ram should keep it running longer Wink

I don't think the RAM amount matters. Seems to still be a Poloniex issue.

I have it running on 2 Servers. One with 8GB of ram, the other with 48GB. They both crash randomly since the Polo mess started.
Hmmm thx for the heads up, I just assumed with the memory leak it would take longer to consume it all

Interesting anecdote. I was running this on a desktop with 8GB of ram and it would take upwards of a week to crash. But on my 8GB laptop, it crashes every other day.

When I try to login with Poloniex API Key/Secret I keep getting this message:

"The private key you gave is not registered to this product"

After that the "Login" button gets disabled and never enables again.

Fun fact is the message shows so fast its impossible it actually hit any server. So I guess this is a client error?

Tried Google but didn't find anything related to this error. Any ideas what the heck does that mean, devs?

If I can't even login in the demo, how am I supposed to test it and throw my money (buy) it?

I don't think you're supposed to log in with your private key for the demo. You don't get a personalized copy until you pay for it.

waiting for email reply..

They're in (Germany, I think?), so it may take awhile.

Devs: I had a crash and now upon restart my SC candlestick chart only goes back a few hours. None of the other coins are like that. Is there a way to force it to fetch chart data?

I just downloaded the demo, and so far I don't really get how to set it to properly for it to make a lot of trades playing on the up and downs in high volume markets.

I gave it a try with digibyte that is currently going through the roof and still managed to loose my trial "fake" money!

Is there any tutorial made by someone not tied up with the company (I understand you can't give trading advice) or someone that could explain how to set it up to make profits? Or can anyone that uses this bot explain their strategies for information purposes only?

I'm totally willing to buy it (TODAY BTW), but if I can't make profit on the demo version, well...

Another question: Is there a community who uses this bot that share insights and trading ideas?

Thank you for any insight!

I wouldn't suggest trading when going to the moon or floor. You want it to be stable when trading.

Personally, I find the margin maker a bit...meh. It works. But there's a lot of variables you have to adjust to make sure it's optimal. I like setting up simple ping-pong bots within a certain range that the coin is trading in and watch it make small amounts of money constantly. It does take a bit more work to get started, but generally once you have the framework for your ping-pong bot down, you can start making money.

Again, don't try it on something like SC that's currently shooting to the moon. lol

ANyone care to share if they are using the BOT on auto or are they manually trading?

I have been trading manually (through leo) for the most part the last three weeks because of how crazy the markets have been. I have had the margin maker bot running here or there using about 10% of my total balance for generating faster, small profits which I don't have time to do. I am going to be testing it over larger time periods and much bigger percentages for a couple weeks to see how it does.

The trading interface alone makes this app worth it.

This is what I've been doing. I just use it now mostly to monitor my holdings.

Overall, the thing which upset me the most is that the software crashes. C++ library.

Would it be because I am running so many bots? Is there a limit to the maximum number to run simultaneously?

It has nothing to do with number of bots.

I do see it more often when Polo is fucking up, though. I think the bot isn't handling something properly when Polo is wonky. I don't know if it messes up on other exchanges.

Thanks for your swift reply.
So, everything is to be addressed on Polo...

No, there is something wrong with the bot - it's not handling something correctly. Polo is just exacerbating it. They know about a memory leak. That may or may not be the cause of this problem. But they are working on it.

I'm running the bot on Poloniex. Why the bot stops and does not run 24/7?
My internet connection is pretty stable.

Suggestion:
when the bot runs in Ping Pong, assuming it starts with a buy. Once it makes a successful buy and a successful sell, would it be possible to make it do a sell (assuming there is enough coins in the balance) and keep it running this way? In other words: buy --> sell --> sell --> buy --> buy ....
Sorry if I am not really clear

No, but you could set up opposite ping-pongs.

Wallet still in maintenance on Polo.
Hoping this gets fixed so people can transfer over some coins. Volume still at Zero on Bittrex.

It's out of maintenance now.

May I make a much-needed feature request?

On the margin maker bots, could we have a reset button that makes it forget what the last trades were? Say I don't use the margin for a week and then re-start it, right now it's still constrained by its last trade. I literally have to delete the bot and start a new one. That's a bit annoying.

Thanks!

My feedback for leonArdo.

I have been using leonArdo for one day and seems quite intuitive in the way you need to set it. It does trigger nicely and does the job.
Some cons:
- no possibility to save strategies (?);
- very basic, only two strategies implemented. As one user said, it requires too much babysitting. Whether a crypto moves away from the set boundaries, the bot does not trade any longer and level reset required.

I fully understand devs will give user to make their own custom rules, however, more "basic" strategies are needed to make the bot one level up.
Keep up with the good work!

...and sometimes crashes.
Please sdvise

They're working on it. I can't even trade on Polo tonight.

Thanks for all the information guys. It really is a help.

I am going to be honest with you and say you are going to have to bear with us for a few weeks. There is no quick fix as the changes we have to make to leonArdo to fix the memory leak run through the entire code base of leonArdo which means we need to change more than ten thousand lines of code.

While we are fairly sure we have found the solution, this is an incredible amount of work to get through and we are very light on the ground.

What does this mean? You could say fuck it, I'll wait until the fix comes in and hopefully Poloniex is back to normal and then continue using leonArdo. Or you are the braver sort and will push on through the current pain.

I really appreciate your patience. You guys are the best!

We will reward you with incredible new features and future bots.

Best wishes,
Jonathan

My chart keeps damaged.

And LEO is crashing left and right on multiple PC's with Runtime errors. It's barely even running a few bots.

Woke up to this. They really need to fix this error.

I'm having the same issue, too.

Which issue?

Leonardo crashes randomly after an hour to a few hours. Seems to be that it crashes more as I make changes to orders and bots in quick succession.

Exactly this.  It gives a runtime error.  More specifically:  "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.  This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way. ..."
Win7 64-bit, 32 GB RAM.

To reproduce the error:  Change orders or bots rapidly, without leaving enough time to get all confirmations from the exchange.  Poloniex is particularly prone to that, as it is very slow, but it also crashes on Bittrex.
Example:  Start a bot.  Before it finishes to place the order, cancel it.  (You don't need to be in a rush, Poloniex is slow.)
Or move a buy or sell order from a bot.  Before the order is completely replaced, stop the bot.
I need to place and mofidy orders very slowly, otherwise I make leonArdo crash.  Not easy when I need to react quickly.

My guess is that leonArdo gets some kind of API reply it wasn't expecting and that's making it crash.
Bittrex's API was returning some weird HTML code for a few horus the other day ("Object moved here", or something like that), and it continuously made leonArdo crash.

For you all to know, my experience is that when leonArdo has a Runtime error, if I do _not_ yet click on the "Ok" of that Window dialog, I can still interact with leonArdo, save my strategies, move some orders on some markets, and even manage to close leonArdo gracefully.  So that's very useful to save anything before leonArdo needs to be closed and restarted.

I was asleep when mine did it, so it's not just manual intervention.

Agreed with the single run-time error. You can ignore that and proceed. Don't even have to shut down. When the crash happens it spawns a dozen or so msg boxes.

And the bot NEVER recovers after a re-boot. I watched it the other night and it failed over and over to recover, something about trying to place a 0 coin order. I have to manually close every order and re-start each bot by hand. With lots of ping-pongs that can take awhile.

I haven't encountered that. What system are you on? I will have to try to recreate it.

It's a run-time error that pops up a lot of error boxes and crashes the bot. It's usually when it gets over 1 gig usage (I have 8 ).

I haven't encountered that.

Which OS are you running?

Can you say something more about your setup? How many bots/pairs/markets etc.

Thanks a lot!

Jonathan

Quickly, as I'm leaving in a few moments:

It's a 64-bit, win 10 laptop with 8 gigs of ram. It doesn't really matter how many pairs I have as it'll do it regardless. Right now I have 1 margin bot and 1 ping pong bot (with about 10 orders). I have 4 coin tabs open and 1 exchange (poly).

It doesn't do that very often. But it does chew up memory something fierce and the whole program will slow down incredibly.
