hi dok, i have some rigs w vegas 64&56, and when i use srb i have 10-20% of rejects 0_o , and with the same overclock settings, nothing changed, using trm i have only ~3% as i can see in stats... cant understand this thing...how it can be, what i'm doing wrong?)
and i can see it by profit, cause i'm using nicehash, and i get smaller profit using srb with that too many rejects...

The problem is that the driver might be in a corrupt state, and the miner can't shut down cleanly. On my own rigs, I need to reboot anyway in 99% of these cases.

That said, my experience is that the win driver(s) recover somewhat better for Polaris cards. If you know you'll get a clean shutdown and always can just restart the miner, I would define a watchdog.bat file in your miner dir that (1) sleeps for 20 secs or so, (2) runs your normal startup procedure (resets clocks for all gpus, start the miner, etc). Last, you also need to add the command line arg --watchdog_script when starting the miner.

The procedure when a dead GPU is detected is that the miner will both execute your watchdog script and then shut down. The 20 sec sleep in your watchdog should catch any unexpected wait times during the miner exit.

dont know why, but after some time one of gpu's dies, it is always fifth cards, and i just close trm and start again, and it starts to mine normaly, but then it happens again after some time...( cant understand why...

you can use polaris bios editor, it has auto timing option, so you can mod your bios and then get some more h/s. i have some old cards rx 480 with 8gb, and they both does ~1000h/s on cnr and ~30mhs on eth, both with bios with moded timings by PBE.

can you write your rig setting for example for vega64, i cant mine normally with your new srb versions, my rigs are very unstable...they freeses and reboots...tried new version 1.8.1, at first there was 0 on some cards, after some reboots they work but still no stability. im already tired...i was runnig gminer before on my vegas rigs and it was stable for weeks...cant mine with srb...dont know why(

Try to set it 104, 112, 118. Your card can more. 71 - is not optimal for 8Gb card. I'm use TRM cause it gives +50 h/s on one of my RX 588 cards. You can try it too.

dok, having a problem with srb, the miner closes itself, have the same problem with 3-4 rigs...it closes randomly at any time, no matter what cards or driver, it closes on vegas 56/64 and the same on rx550...can you do something or recommend ? never had this problem before 1.8.0, and its a very disappointing thing, lost a lot of time without rigs working especially at night...

No it's not intensity related, pool just isn't sending you the block height parameter, and without that miner can't work with cn/r.
If you could give me a part from the logfile from 2019-03-10 00:20:44 it would be really helpful

you can but it's not a must because miner will recognise it's a nicehash pool and it will enable that parameter automatically.
Ok, so that happened only once? Since then that machine is working ok ?
it seems now its ok, i set my old intensity parameters for my 480s cards, because auto was 71/1, now i set 68/8 and for some time its mines ok, i will sent you log file if it will be one more time.

whats the problem? it mines some time than i see this and miner restarts, also sometimes it restarts and shows this message right after start...

Which coin are you trying to mine and on what pool?
It looks like you want to mine with cn/r or cn/wow on a pool that's not for that algo.

its cn/r on nicehash, other rigs mines fine, maybe miner set wrong intesnity again?

hello, who have rx550 2gb cards ? what best intensity settings you find on new v4 ? please share your settings.
mine is 26/32 with ~460hs

Give more info, "just freezes" isnt too much info, you must admit that..

already tried new version on 2 my rigs, all are on rx550s, i edit v4 to v8 in start.bat, miner starts, compiles kernels but then just freezes and rig goes to reboot...should i edit something else except v4>v8 ?? i have 18.6.1&18.5.2 radeon drivers and win10 1803.

my rig just freezes and reboots with the new version 1.8.0...cards are rx550.
it works fine with 1.7.9

hello, who can help with my problem, i have lower hashrate on my vega's 64, even i cant reach more than 1900...
i'm using 18.6.1 driver with atikmdagpatcher applied, 1.6.8 srb miner, computemode on, all settings with overdrive tools with average common settings to 64 vegas.
and still i can see this hashrates on 2 my ferms:

please, can someone help me, what intensity and other settings i have to use for rx480 8gb?
i used uber3.1 timings for 2000, memory set to 2100. tried to use autointensity, but it doesnt work properly, so now i'm using 64/8/1 in srb 1.6.6, but this settings gave me only 860h/s, what i'm doing wrong? amd drivers 18.6.1&win10.
