Re: T-Rex 0.11.0 NVIDIA GPU miner with web monitoring page and auto-updates

I see something strange with the newest 0.11.0:

This only happens to 1080 Ti, but on all of my rigs. They are slightly overclocked, but 100% stable since over 1 year. Every 5-15 hours (completely random) 1-2 cards are fully crashing and then they look like deactivated. The watchdog want to restart the miner in a loop, but cant because of the "deactivated" cards. I have to reboot the system and everything is fine again. (If they would crash for real, these cards would have the stock clocks after reboot, but they still have all the settings. So its definitely not a real crash of that cards for sure.)

I dunno when and why, its completely random. But this does not happen with 0.10.2. Switched few rigs over and they run fine since 2 days without any failure.
Any guess what this could be? Already testing the intensity, already switched off the watchdog, but right now waiting for the next crash. But maybe you already have an idea.

Same thing with my 1070s: one rig died this very same way on SMOS, t-rex-v0.11.0-cuda9.2 - had to re-flash SMOS to bring it working again

Also there is a bug with t-rex-v0.11.0-cuda9.2 (in different SMOS versions): when i change overclockig settings and restart miner program it starts hashing in half speed literally. Only rig reboot brings back hashing speed, miner program restart doesn't help.

Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4

Thank you for the great product!

Could you please assist with this trouble? I run v0019-1.3 with no issues, 10x 1080, all cards stably giving 550 sol on zec with zm. Then I've installed fresh v0019-1.4, applied my OC. Now hashrate and POWER consumption bounces on several of 1080s and overal hashrate decreased significantly. I've rechecked the configs, tried to turn off temp control, played with power mizer setting. But no result. Is it some known issue? Maybe related to driver update from 384 to 387? Could you please point me to the resolution if there is one? Thank you very much!

Have a look at page 245 and 246
Should be the interrupted Nvidia driver upgrade problem

Thanks for quick response, it works!

Pretty sure this is something really simple...but I can't get a login to the desktop Sad
I get a prompt with either m1 or Guest session and the password miner1 doesn't work for me at all.
It seems to take it but just jumps back to the login screen again

I have very same issue on 2 rigs. They both worked. Then suddenly my pool reported they stopped mining (maybe there was some reboot but I dont know). I connect to them via TeamViewer through unattended access that was setup earlier. TeamViewer works and shows this login screen. Either reboot from this screen or power-off-power-on gives the same result. System boots into this non-loginable login screen.

One rig is 7x1070 evga on asus z270-a, usb3 stick, it worked flawlesly for maybe 10 days.
Another rig is on gigabyte 970 ud3, hdd - also worked for several days after last OC tuning. I've reinstalled system yesterday to fix this but it appeared in less than a day again. Is there some resolution?

I'm running without monitor, build v0019 on both. Will try to update to latest v0019-1.3.

Update:
Crtl+Alt+F1 shows terminal but it needs to reconnect TeamViewer to see this. Logged in in terminal, rebooted with 'reboot' command but it shows same login screen
. Will try to update packages as it suggest after the login.
