I am sorry, given the number of chips that have already been sold (around 500'000) i no longer believe this investment is worth it for me. Therefore I am retracting my offer. Best of luck to you all!

Sorry for the inconvenience.

[....]

Seriously, Josh
If you would have taken all the time you wasted on these forums and put it to good use, (like I dunno... developing a working product), i'm sure a lot of your customers would already have their units and all those discussions would be pointless.

Please show a little respect like the mature guy you are (..or are you?), especially for the hundreds/thousands of people that trusted your endeavour and invested in your product.

Stop wasting time on the forums and get to work. There is still too much to be done on your part to be here publicly playing with customer emotions.

I'm excited by all this, but I realized that between the 1st and 2nd order# from Zefir, there is already 200 other orders in between !

That makes 20 million ASIC chips mining Bitcoin in a close future.

Any speculation on difficulty / profitability ?

Zephyr,
I don't understand, you say you will not take reservations but yet your last sum of orders states about 4800 chips as "reserved".

I just made the mining calculator parameters persistent, as long as you do not clear your cookies.

Wow! Works perfectly ! Thanks!

I think it's more than a scam.
I actually think they have a few real working products, but think about it: Why whould you ship a 150$ product to a customer (who's already paid months ago for the device), when you can keep it for yourself and have it mining for months at a few thousands dollars, just by saying: "The product isn't ready yet, be patient" ?

Anyone who's ordered will NEVER see their ASIC, and if some do, It will be because it is not profitable anymore.

Re: 4 x 7950 Rig

I also had a few "Dead" GPU states after a couple hours of mining on my 2x 6950 rig... I guess the Intensity 18 is a little on the line for my rig.

I was able to reduce those occurences after increasing my memory clock to 1050 MHz. (stock clock is 1300MHz, I had previously underclocked to reduce temperature).

You might also be interested in downloading this little gem called "CG Watcher". It can control your CGminer entirely and also restart the miner with failsafes such as SICK/DEAD gpus, low kHs threshold, etc.
Haven't used anything this I got my hands on this, also the developer seems friendly and active on his project.

Yep, I've seen youtube videos with them, they are similar to IDE cords, you just plug the one end in the PCI slot and the other to the gpu. granted you have to do a little ghetto riging to get all of them going, but that's the process. Altho the guy at the computer store I goto said trying to run 4 GPU's on 1 PS is impossible, 3 max, but that would work for me.

The 7970's only use 1 of the slots, but they are so thick that it blocks the other available port. I could possibly remove the cover off the card but that voids the warranty, and if these burn out then I'm stuck.

It should also be noted that when connecting more than 3 GPUs on a MB, you need "powered" risers, soerboard. that your GPUs grab their BUS power from the PSU instead of from the moth. Otherwise you could end up frying your MB or GPU.

Does the restrictions have changed or are they the same as the ones shown on the first page of this topic?
