i think 250m is too much for ico.

I don't think that 250 is, technically, an achievable realistic number in such a short period of time. However, anything they'll raise is fine by me - even a billion! It will help spread the word and i'm certain they'll put it into good use (e.g. high % back into the Smart Contract and the community). Also, let us not forget that this is the first ICO that uses Time Cap rather then Money Cap to allow all of us to enjoy this opportunity. In short, its a great team with a beautiful solution at the right time!

Its so different than bancor.
Can you use omega to trade low volume & liquidity community token ?
Omega rely on exchanges.

OMEGA-who? It might be a good solution but I don't think that you can even compare it with Bancor. The beauty of Bencor is that it cuts the middleman and, for the first time, allows direct convertion to/with a/the smart contrat (...... Bancor smart token). It is first-to-market and its revolutionery. Besides, the combination of the Bancor solution and the team will surely prevail.

Think about it, why would I want to pay an exchange if I have a FOC solution?

How will it prevail if it yet to be unveiled - there is nothing there, yet!

I am planning to invest 3 eth into this project but we all know how the BAT ico went.

Will the Bancor team team take action against this and help the small investors or is this project only for whales?
i really think that the market cap of the ico will be big. if it is big all of us will have the time to join

Likewise - this was just posted on the Bancor Protocol Telegram group >>> Sergai Kuza, [04.06.17 18:34]
Hi guys, I just managed to communicate with someone at Bitcoin Swiss. I inquire as to my application which is yet to be processed, especially now that the ICO is next week.I was told that they get over 200 applications a day and that they are making all efforts to approve and release the applications as soon as possible.

WOW, 200 applications a day! I don't know what to make out of it but it is very impressive. My biggest fear is that it will be over before it even started, like BAT. They have said a number of times that they will give enough time for everyone to participate and I hope that this will indeed be the case.

Tempers are getting heightened with the delay.. Wink

yes, I don't know why the team can't come out and address the situation, 2 days to the precious date but I think that is not feasible again. A lot of us have prepared for this ICO but the uncertainty around the start of the ICO is getting me annoyed.

In their Telegram Bancor Protocol group (https://t.me/bancor) they posted the following yesterday:

Guy of Bancor, [28.05.17 22:26]

Hi everyone, we hoped to publish terms by end of this weekend but will need some more time, and for good reason! We've signed a deal with Consensys to undergo a final security audit of our smart contracts and crowdsale mechanics, and we want to let this fully play out to ensure we are running the most air tight process possible. And for those of you concerned re: timing, we hear you loud and clear and are working on a feature that will ensure everyone can participate. Thanks for your patience, stay tuned, and we'll continue to answer questions here about the Bancor protocol.

I can understand the delay mostly because he's clearly saying that there will be enough room for every one to invest 'working on a feature that will ensure everyone can participate'.

I think the ICO will be largest and fastest in history .

i fear you might be right - it is a great project and a major game changer, i wish they'll find a way for all of us to participate - it be like buying Apple or Intel at $2 a piece.

Yes the manager of the bounty very quickly helps to solve the problem, I made some mistakes but I went to a meeting and helped to decide everything while there are no complaints

Same here - very helpful, prompt and always provide a solution.

I hope BTC direct investment in the ICO will be an option.

It won't be. If you want to participate in the ICO, exchange the amount you want to buy from BTC to ETH.

Are you sure?

Any updates regarding ICO Date?

nope

I am looking forward to join this amazing ICO

Same here - are the going to announce the exact date this week?
As well as some re-messaging for greater understanding?

on the first page is written, the ICO may 30, the launch was moved? how did I miss that new date...

read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1789222.msg19171180#msg19171180

is there a speculation of when the ico details would be released?

Galia mentioned the end of the week for an update

End of the week or over the weekend?

Taken from >>> https://t.me/bancor (...... brilliant group suggest you'll join)

A quote posted by Galia recently "We know everyone's awaiting on the big announcements and we're getting everything in order for a proper reveal later this week. Please stay tuned and in meantime any discussion about the protocol, use cases, questions, partners, ecosystem developments etc. are more than welcome..."

Only 9 days to ICO and we still know so little about it. Will it be daleyed?

The ICO date has been postponed but the new date is not official, waiting for the new date. I hope the structure of the ICO is made public, I want to make plans for this ICO.

What do you mean by 'the structure of the ICO' - terms and conditions?

It is indeed a big news at this stage just before the crowdfunding go live in few days. Let's push this news more far by re-tweeting everyone. I also am looking forward for exact date for ICO and hopefully it will be decided in next few days. Time is perfect for running crowdfunding with such solid ideas now.

I agree let's push this news and also check out there slack room at  https://bancor-slack-invite.herokuapp.com

I spend some time there, and in a few Telegram groups, and I'm now certain that this is going to be huge!

Just please, do not fuck up the ICO with capping it too greedely. I agree with people saying 6-12 million is acceptable price range. You will see, that if you set it insanely high like 20 million or more (or make it uncapped) you will not gather even half of that and you will not create decent community helping you promote your project, which is priceless.

Yeah thats true, 6-12 million is acceptable, I don't want them to push it too high or worse leave it uncapped. Nevertheless I have high hopes for this coin. It's one of those I'm keeping a strong watch on, and participating in its bounties Smiley

I actually fear that it might not be enough. This looks like a mega project that is likely to be a major game changer. If executed well, it has the potential of solving a lot of trading / liquidity problems. I, for one, am very likely to use it for my personal gain in the hope that it will help me trade out of my past endeavors. In short, I'm all-in and I don't care much for Cap.

AC

PS - to be clear, when I say that i'm all-in, I mean big time as I really want to see them make it fly!

I hope this won't be like wings ICO last year, that was postponed for many months and ended up raising 2000+BTC. ICO is all about timing, the team need to get this right

You're making a very valid point. I call them 'The Missing Link' and it will be sad to see such a major breakthrough undervalued.
