Re: The most trustworthy International Exchange ATM... (Or international retailers).

Bittrex and Binance have proven themselves as some of the best crypto exchanges currently. Binance is returning their lost funds through the SAFU fund proving their reliability.

If you are looking for a P2P exchange, I suggest LocalBitcoins. Trade only with high trust traders.

Will Bittrex and Binance buy BTC from International clients ?... what's your opinion about Coinabse ?...

thanks,

Maybe that's just your opinion about exchanges or retailers that they won't buy your BTC. I think as long as the exchanges are profiting with fees in different trading pairs/markets that they have, there would be no problem with that. As for retailers, if the owner is a believer in BTC, I think they would be happy to accept it and price it according to BTC price, with that, I think it would be no problem.

That's just the problem with some of the people here, and they do not believe completely with BTC. For some, it's only a possibility to profit, not completely adapting to what it could be in the future, where it would be the medium of exchange towards different people and maybe governments. We will see.

its not just my opinion, go ahead google it, maybe ur less informed ! when BTC spiked to almost 20K over a week MANY of those international exchanges refused buying your BTC in exchange for FIAT, that was just what i read and i wouldn't be surprised, maybe u r LESS informed !...

So what is ur plans guys and what r some of the most trustworthy International Exchanges where we can sell our BTC ?? Any thoughts on retailers too who accept BTC for payments ??

Good luck all !...

which traders to sell your BTC IF BTC prices spike again ?...
by
aliitp
on 25/10/2018, 07:02:09 UTC
I am quite speculative whether all traders will agree buying your BTC spikes again anytime soon, say it hits 35k or even more at any moment, from the current price around 6k, do you really think any exchange website will buy your BTC ?... i know many will say Yes because at the same time many people will be buying BTC at that same point so exchanges would be doing a lot of profit (which I doubt it) so i came across this article online:
https://www.investopedia.com/news/what-was-behind-bitcoins-insane-price-moves-dec-7/

Quote
As if the ricocheting price movement was not enough, several prominent bitcoin exchanges reported outages or delays in trading. For example, GDAX had a “minor service outage” while Bitfinex, which claims to be the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, said it was investigating a Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack. The UK’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, IG Group, suspended trading briefly after bitcoin’s price surge. (See also: Best Ways To Protect Bitcoins.)

“It’s beyond abnormal, it’s unprecedented. Every other commodity has natural sellers,” said Walter Zimmerman, a technical analyst, in an interview with the Financial Times.

something tells me this can happen again and most traders if not all will refuse to buy our BTC If BTC spikes again !...

Did anyone think about this ?... And what are you planning to do in this case ?... just sit and watch when it goes down again to sell ?? Smiley we are all here to make money out of BTC so we are Holding to sell, i just hate to see anyone get scammed or not fulfill his goal at that point of time :S...

Re: Is it safe to give your details and documents out in the name of KYC?
by
aliitp
on 12/09/2018, 11:53:11 UTC
If you're talking about airdrops and ICOs, I would definitely not recommend giving out your KYC information. Who knows that those projects would do with your information? I know there are reputable ICOs and airdrops out there, but I personally wouldn't take the risk.

If you're talking about KYC for exchanges though, I'd probably consider it, but it still completely depends on how bad I need the service and if there aren't decent alternatives.

Kyc is important to identify our details. The main purpose of KYC solutions is to prevent unqualified people using a service that they are not authorised to use. Examples of such people could include minors, undocumented immigrants and people with criminal histories.
This, and also to prevent people from taking advantage of airdrops and such.

I couldn't agree more, the question whether you TRUST that company or not !...

Taking your concerns into account (yes, everybody says that price doesn't matter, but we've seen how the regulators in many different countries have started moving when the price climbed to 19k, haven't they?) I would register in more than one big legit different exchanges.

I don't know which ones are the best taking into account your nationality, as I don't know the regulations there neither, but some international legit ones are bitfinex, kraken, bitstamp... you can also use localbitcoins and/or hodlhodl, and many other platforms like bitcoin.de for german and european traders, but in your country/continent.

Good luck and I hope it goest to 100k so we all can celebrate. I hope I helped.

TBH i got 0 experience trading or even using the trading platform, i was looking for a simply exchange website (internationally trusted) but if not i guess ill stick to the local one we have here in the UAE ...

Of course they would do.

What's the difference of selling bitcoin $100,000 and at $19,000? you are selling and the price just increased.

added to ma Favorites, but TBH they are selling BTC at very high prices, the lowest i found 8k$+, and that's when trying to buy in USD !!!...

also why when paying with CC or PayPal they charge these ridiculous amounts ?!?!?...

Which Trusted International Exchanges should I deal with to sell my BTC in exchange for Fiat ??...

I am from Dubai, we have here a website called Bitoasis, but am hesitant, I have a feeling that many exchanges will refuse buying my BTC for real cash WHEN BTC hits huge numbers 30-100k $...
when bitcoin price reaches $100k meaning there is quite high market demands
it's not whether there will be a buyer for it, but how you are going to cash out that sum of money
the problem arises when you are requesting transfer to your fiat bank account
any exchange/business will request for KYC verification to comply with local regulations
and with that kind amount of money, they would do it very cautiously

I am pretty much gonna deal with a Registered business here in the UAE, also am not doing anything wrong, say i became a millionaire over night because BTC price jumped so high, is that my fault Huh  Huh

https://trezor.io/resellers/

That's the official list of Trezor resellers. There MUST be a few who do Paypal. One of the UK ones is on Ebay.

I'd still try and obtain BTC and buy direct myself. Fuck using Paypal to do it. You must have other options.

Thanks a lot i did order one thanks to you  Wink

also how to use the wallet to send funds to a BTC address, do i have to manually write it on the screen or what  Huh Sad

It doesn't look like you got your answer for this question specifically. They have desktop software (which you have to download, of course) for sending out transactions and you use it pretty much like any other wallet while your device is plugged in. You don't have to type anything manually on the device itself. Here are step-by-step instructions:

Trezor:
https://doc.satoshilabs.com/trezor-user/settingup.html

Ledger:
https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000617934-Send-and-receive-crypto-assets

As another user mentioned, and this cannot be stressed enough: do not buy from resellers.

Much appreciated ! I am set to buy the trazor, but since u said do Not buy from re sellers now now suspicious of every single reseller out there even reputed ones on ebay !...
Problem is i need to pay with PayPal and original trazor website wont accept paypal Sad

Any recommendations where to buy (reputed) with paypal support ??...

i am new and need something more secure than bitcoin core to store my funds, what is a better option for me trezor or ledger nano ?!...

also how to use the wallet to send funds to a BTC address, do i have to manually write it on the screen or what  Huh Sad

I personally think that the Ledger Nano S is more user friendly, as it supports more coins etc, but i think it really comes down to personal preference, and how much you want to pay. Ledger is ~120$ vs Trezor being ~100$, so there's really not that much difference there..

Read some reviews about the two maybe? https://blockonomi.com/trezor-vs-ledger/

What exactly do you mean? From the wallet you currently have to your trezor/Ledger? You could just copy & paste the receiving adress for said coin on your hardware wallet ( ledger/trezor), and use that as the "send-to adress" in your current wallet.

(Always check if you copied the right adress, there have been instances where people lost their coins due to clipboard malware!)

I think ill have to read more to understand how on earth can i send money from my ledger wallet to another address...

Some people pay 0.082 kWh (converted to USD) and Local people pay only 0.02$ kWh which is dirt cheap, if you dont believe come to the UAE or ask someone who lives here...

id like to experemtn by downloading bitcoin core to my main daily backed up PC (but who knows what could happen) and a redundant laptop, i have downloaded the initial 150 GB+ to my main PC and received a test amount and got that fine, i was trying to redownload bitcoin core on my laptop and use the same account there of my main PC isntead of redownloading a copy of the blockchain into the laptop again and creating a New Wallet, is it possible to view the same wallet on both the PC and the laptop and have redundant access to my wallet on both machines or not ?...

It might help if you tell us your country though.

Try out Abra[1]. It's a decent alternative. Used it in the past with no problem. Transfers from Abra -> bank just might be a bit slower compared to when using Coinbase.

[1] https://www.abra.com/

Sorry am from the UAE (Dubai), so i only wanna buy with VISA and HODL, not gonna sell ATM...

You can purchase using Abra. Was just saying that if you're planning on transfering FIAT from Abra to your bank, it will take days.

Would YOU buy from them ??...

Of course assuming ur not living in Moscow since it seems most of their clients are russians !...

I'm from South-East Asia and a decent number of people here use Abra's service.

so abra creates for your a passphrase and seems reliable as u can restore your wallet if you loose your phone but can still have your passphrase (something bitcoin core does offer, u need to have wallet backup + passphrase) do u think abra is reliable to store your money or is it an exchange and not trustworthy ?...

thanks,

Binance, Bitfinex, Bittrex... are all fine. Poloniex used to be really popular, Kucoin is now, IDEX is decentralized and probably not what you're after but is actually a quite decent exchange. If you have any specific demands, like, you have a specific card you'd like to purchase with, that would be the direction you'd be looking at. So "exchanges that accept X card". And that would narrow your search a lot. Or if you have specific country demands, search by looking at that. All exchanges actually work and are not much risky if you withdraw money after your trades. Even the largest exchanges used to get hacked/collapse, and it will happen again. Just avoid that risk and you should be good.

binance seems nice and from your words seems trustworthy and reputable !... and of course our One and Only Local exchange the infamous Bitoasis  Grin

Bitfinex is a platform for professional traders. If you are new to cryptocurrency trading, please consider another, more straightforward platform first and return to Bitfinex later.
