Siacoin, funfair and of course deeponion is most of my portfolio at the moment.

All of them I think bring something new to crypto.

I like a hardware wallet cause it just feels secure. A paper wallet is ok but easily lost.

Just what ever you do dont leave it on an exchange. People leave a small amount on there that they are willing to lose but that's only if they are day trading.

I am not really sure how they can. The same problems always exist. It's too slow, the fees are too high and it's not getting main stream adoption.

The main stream adoption I see as the biggest hurdle and for that to be overcome we need an easier way for people to get involved. Too many scam stories and websites have scared off the common user.

Cryptopia has been getting worse and worse. Ever they don't care and that's why things are going down hill or its a warning significant their incompetance. Either way I am now trusting it.

Especially with coins like DeepOnion when we have a very good reason with POS to get the coins in your wallet.

Probably a few years ago from the dark net and various documentaries. The wife only let me invest last year though and finally got it sorted and come in at £2468.

Always had the plan to just hold for 18 years for my daughter. So not really been fussed about the resent "crash".

Still recommending to everyone but that conversation is becoming harder now.

I know of at least 2 big dumpers in recent weeks.in fairness they dumped at over $15. What our price would be without them dumping I don't know. Most of our price loss I believe is because of BTC devaluation. Maybe they did the right thing at the time?

DeepOnion I think will recover well compared to other coins. How high that will be will be largely dependent on BTC recovery.

The shop does ship to Europe and used to take some time but I believe they have a new shipping depot in Europe now so you don't have to wait for it to ship from the states.

It's an alternative to the current banking system. The current system in some countries is manipulated by big companies with hidden interests and in others it's on a trust system that you just hope the government is doing the right thing.

This is what people don't understand and this is why ripple should never be allowed to succeed, people need to be educated about the people behind the coins.

Real tough choice on the MVP this week. Who you got?

I have known a few of them for a while and it's a real tough choice for me. I area few of them really trying to give back to the community in all different ways.

Amazing the work a few of these guys have done and some have only been members for a month.

If BTC reaches 20k it will bring a lot of alts up with it. BTC to 20k is 2x. Some of these alts will do alot more in the same period of time.

ETN is looking really for 2018 and DeepOnion is POS and has airdrop going on for 12 more weeks.

Ask yourself why you brought the alts in the first place. If they have amazing tech and will really have a place in the market then stay where you are.

No one really knows where the bottom of this will go but why does it matter.

If you are trying to buy today and sell tomorrow then maybe it does matter but you should be in this long term. My belief is that most sensible investments in crypto that if they go down hold for longer. Bitcoin may go down tomorrow but if your holding 3 or 5 years why does it matter.

It's like buying a TV today but tomorrow it goes on sale. Who cares what it costs tomorrow, only care about 2 things..

1 are you happy paying the current price

And when you have purchased it

2 are you happy to sell it at that price.

Anything that happens between 1 and 2 is pointless thinking about and definitely silly thinking of anything before 1.

I hear from some people that when selling a large amount of Bitcoin and having that money hit their UK bank account,  the bank has froze their money or notified them they will close their account.

Other people say they had no issues and no one has said anything.

Have you have any problems and more importantly who gave you the best rates and was the least hassle to deal with.

I think most people are only into these coins as a gateway into other alts. Eth is my preferred for that reason. If I had to choose between the two for investment I would choose Eth.

Given the choice I'd choose many other alts before if choose these two. Sia.coin, Deeponion and po.et. I think all have very interesting tech and could easily give getter returns than these two are capable of.

10k a coin I would not call dead. Its beating every other coin. Just at some point it went mainstream and Joe public invested and probably has been burned. I think they probably wasn't made aware of the risks and how volitile the market is.

Some manipulation of the market occurred, Chinese New year, panic selling and now we are stable ish.

Now its back to normal. Its just not amazing anymore

It depends why you brought them in the first place. I buy for 3 main reasons

1/ short term hold and a quick buck. You did this well done

2/ long term hold. I brought a few thousand dirt cheap and I will forget about them for a few years and hopefully get plesently suprised.

3/ sort of the same as 2 but also because I believe in the project. Things like sia coin, po.et and Deeponion could radically change the way we live our lives and I would love to see that happen and be apart of it.

I have not seen any of these and how can it even be a thing when the fees are so high. I something think that places that have the sign that says we accept bitcoin are just trying to be trendy and they really would prefer not too.

The problem is that Bitcoin seems to be the face of all crypto at the moment and educating anyone about other better alts can be very hard work.

I have always been a long term holder so anytime is a good time if you are in long enough.

With the resent news about Korea it's taking a bashing and I think it's at a good price to get in at the minute. Just don't be looking at getting out in the next 6 months to 2 years. It's going to be rough times and you are not going to get your quick returns like you can with some of the alts
