I'm sure that bitcoin will stick around for a while. I'm even more certain that other coins will come out that will be close to beating bitcoin like etherium.
But to be honest, I believe that Bitcoin will still stay on the top. At least for now.

Of course, it can help universities in terms of research, but it really depends in what.

Finances are the obvious choice for this, but I'm not too sure about other things.

When I first got into crypto I thought that holding was the way to go.

After a while I realized that with the investments I had  (which were quite small) there is no point in holding. But at that time it was already too late.

Nowadays I trade quite fast, but I still have some wallets in which I hold emergency funds.

The only way I see this working out is by some sketchy dealers selling bitcoin on the street with high exchange rates.

I honestly think that humanity will have something better than crypto at that time.
Just take a look at how fast technology has changed throughout the past centuries.
I'm sure something more innovative will come out after a while.

The first time I remember hearing about bitcoin was during 2015 I believe.

I remember talking to my buddies about putting some money in it, but of course we didn't. Kinda sad.

My biggest regret is holding onto my etherium wallet when it was booming.

I still regret it every single day. But, I have learned from my mistakes.

Luckily, it seems like that its growing.

To be honest, I don't think that any government should have anything to do with monitoring or controlling cryptos at least for now.
But of course, China is China and they will do what they want.

To be honest, this one feels kinda sketchy.
Extremely sketchy.

Well you first need to have the proper capital to do that.
You also need to know the risks of course. This is where my main way of thinking comes along: only invest as much as you are willing to lose.

I have been an average user of bitcoin since 2014 and here are the pros and cons that I have noticed.

Pro - I guess the anonymity and how you can purchase basically anything online.

Con - The fees and the waiting time of purchases.

I wouldn't really trust your sources. If for some reason they were to do that the price of bitcoin would plumit.

That's true in some aspects I guess. But for me, holding has made me lose 50% of my portfolio, which sucks.
