@miningpoolhub

I`m unable to cash out my coins.
amont and address fieds are gray. (any coin type)
what`s a reason?

thank you.

Did you look on the left side under auto payout? That is where you enter the address and it will populate the right side after you save it. If you want to always manually cash out leave auto payment amount at zero.

thank you!
it`s a thin, i`m forgot about!

I'm not sure, but it can be due to old MOBO BIOS.
My old MOBO started with G1840 only after i'm change BIOS to a new version.
Also look at manual to be sure that DIMM 1 slot is really the #1

Whats about "dual" mining on Nvidia and AMD cards at the same time? Is it possible?
And if anyone have GTX980, how much mh/s it has?

MSI GTX980 Gaming = 22-23 at a stock bios

in most other algos gtx980 is near (+/-) to gtx1060 6G (except power usage, of case, he-he)

New with RX480 cards...need some info/help.

I tried to mod rom, copied 1750 strap to 2000 strap. After reset I got the yellow exclamation on the card...so I must disable driver signature.
Is this the correct way to do it:
Code:
bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on
or:
Code:
bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

Card is XFX RX480 GTR 8GB, Samsung memory ( http://www.xfxforce.com/en-us/products/amd-radeon-rx-400-series/rx-480-gtr-8gb-dd-led-rx-480p8dfa6 )
I'm using WIN10 Pro X64 & latest AMD driver

Maybe someone wants to share already moded .rom for this card?

Thanks, cheers y'all  Cool

Try older drivers
16.11.5 works fine

Good time for all

What swap must be set for 1070 cards?
i have 4 card rig 980 + 3x1070
Dual miner can work with any 2 cards from a rig
if more, i see a mistake like "CUDA error, can't allocate big bufer for DAG"

Win7x64 Claymore 9.3
swap 16-32-64 = same

Hi

i don't neet to setup from zero...
only a few problem

the most important it help with Bios on my GPU

thanks  Smiley

Try to look Bios at:  https://anorak.tech/t/anoraks-vbios-collection-optimized-settings-for-performance-power-saving/13

There you also can find Bios Editor and how to Flash your cards
but pls take in a mind that new AMD drivers don't recognize flashed cards (can see only stock bios)
so u will need old drivers, but think it will be no problem for EthOS, (ask support)

Re: What's the recommended PSU wattage per rx 480 in a GPU rig?
by
alrami
on 07/03/2017, 11:40:34 UTC
Just to be safe I would use 200W for each card (spikes..)

Think even 250W must be for a safety, case i saw up to 224W spikes in GPU-Z

I use this:  CHIEFTEC A80 750W PSU.
One card consumes 120w.

Check not average, but MAX power spending
You will be surprised when you will see 250W

As it was said before, looks like a power supply problem.
By the way, what risers you use?
And as i'm understand, your rig works for some time and then suddenly fall, yes?

I got 155 sols/s with Nvidia GTX 980 ref card / win 10 64bit / nvidia driver 375.63 and the latest Nicehash Miner v1.0.2d
Power draw at the wall 180 watts for the whole system.
Trying get cpu (i7-5960x) mining working on the same pc , i got a error , for each core : "Unable to alloc locked pages (err=1314)" , but hashing speed increasing with 30-35 sols/s using 8 cores... power draw at the wall going up to 258 watts / us 120volt

So-so, but not bad for GTX 980
As for CPU, you got your 35 Sol/s
Error message: It's common issue, all, trying to use CPU, see it. But it's like just a message, no real problems follows. So Relax and Forgot. ;-)

Re: New H81 Pro MB will not post - New Build
by
alrami
on 06/12/2016, 04:11:14 UTC
I have built a good number of these, but I have one brand new board I can't get to even boot to the setup screen.
When I start it up the PSU stutters twice then on the third go it runs.  CPU fan turns, I hear the HD click, but no lights on internet connection, not video.
I just pulled the PSU off a working rig so it's good.
I have changed out the memory and currently have just one stick in.
Unplugged keyboard and mouse.
Reconnected CPU power.
Have tried onboard video and GPU's, but I can't get a light on the board at all so I don't think that matters.  Currently no GPU's connected, just onboard chipset.
Monitor, PSU and memory are all off a Z77 Extreme 6 I was using and I just wanted to replace the MB.  Brand new cpu.  But I did take it out and examined all the pins.  Reseated it.  Appears fine.

Been through this already :
http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1893016/post-system-boot-video-output-troubleshooting-checklist.html

Any suggestions - bad board?

EDIT - only message on the monitor is "HDMI in Power Saving mode"

Try to clear a MB BIOS. Once upon a time it helps me..
In another way better to change a MB, if it can be easily done.

edit: message - mean monitor see no signal

Re: 5x RX480 + asrock h81 pro btc

Hello Wink

I have 5 gpu rx480 with motherboard asrock btc.

I plugged 4 card on pci-1 with riser xsource (powered)

It works very well.

Waiting to receive my 5th riser, I wanted to connect my 5th gpu directly on the pci-16 of the motherboard.

But that if is not recognized by wattman or claymore. Roll Eyes Huh

You have an idea why my gpu is not detected?

thank you in advance

At some Asrock MBs pci-e x16 must be connected with pci-e x16 raser, not with pci-e x1
it can be powered or not - no diff, a cheap one will be ok

edit:
you can check even without a riser - just put a GPU in PCI-E x16 directly
if problem will be solved, so - use x16 to x16 riser to connect

My OS is Windows 10.The photo of the error:

https://postimg.org/image/7sd78g4sz/

As i see, you forgot to disable CPU graphics!
Disable it in a BIOS
Also, if CPU graphics set to "Auto", so use x16-x16 riser in a first slot (meet same at my Asrock Anniversary)
I'm use the cheapest non-powered one case MB supports one card freely

P.S. Asrock noted that in multi GPU system user need to install first card in x16 slot and only than install other cards (may be not need, but i'm follow a note)
