Because its creator is so great. Bitcoin invented with unique concept and came first than the other coins. In other words it came to digital world as Genesis "the beginning" of new innovation. Because of this it has inspired many coins.

The fall and rise of altcoins has a connection to the value of bitcoin. But not all depend on bitcoin because some coins are not affected by its fluctuation.
The market's slump of most altcoins is alarming and their progress is slow.  The birth of many ico is also a cause.

If every blessing that we receive has the purpose of helping the poor, I believe that the poverty will be reduced.  Anyone should have the heart of helping the world to become a better place to live.
 

Far from the fact that bitcoin will reach $1500. From my review in bitcoin graph its hard to come back to the lowest at its first price.  I believe maybe at $ 3,000 half its price now can be.

That's a good idea but make it sure that the ICO have listed on exchanges.  The difference is you cannot avail big discount during ICO than to finish one.

Not all coins get dumped when reached exchanges. My friend had regret when she sold the full amount of her bounty token. When  listed in exchanges suddenly got a lower price but partnerships came to that project and it gradually increase up to now.  She had learned, she saw the potential of the project to increase its value, next time she will patiently wait or hold and will not sell the whole amount. Communication and peace of mind is important.

In my researched and observation choosing a good ICO takes a lot of time. Need to know who are behind the project. Are they with expertise or has a good crypto experience? Are they trusted person? Can recognize also by constant communication.

If I have enough capital for investment I would choose to invest in bitcoin and ether (70% bitcoin, 30% ether). This two giant coin will definitely increase on this coming September to December. Both coins are good and potentially have a chance to get higher than before.

What has been done by scammers can be a major impact on altcoins fall. Many scammers stolen a million dollars from investors around the world. Some investors may 'be afraid to trust and invest again or making an adjustment on how to recover from lost.  As long as there are scammers, altcoins will continue to fall. So doubly cautious and avoid the crook.
