Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.
Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.
This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, weâve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.
Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

What is VoxCoin?
VoxCoin is a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency with a distributed, decentralized public ledger similar to Bitcoin. VoxCoin uses a proof-of-Work system and is open-source.
Voxcoin is the result of some of us who joined together on Discord in an effort to create a new real alternative currency similar to Bitcoin & Litecoin. We wanted to make a coin that is faster then Bitcoin.
Many Altcoins have come and gone. Some brought innovation, but they all had problems.
We want the best innovations of Bitcoin and other currencies to create a coin with all of their benefits, but without any of their problems.
Proof of Work
VoxCoin will use "Scrypt" proof of work. Using Scrypt allows one to mine VoxCOin while also mining Litecoin.
Premines
VoxcCoin will come with "0" premined coins.
We believe a coin needs to be released in a fair manner. Having one person (or a group) control a large amount of coins that can be used as they see fit is against the decentralized vision of Bitcoin. Yes, it is true that without a stash of premined coins, we will not be able to afford to pay for bounties, but we believe people will see the virtue of this coin, invest in it as early adopters, and will be willing to spend time creating services to make this coin better.
Fast Transactions
Although we know that fast confirmations are not necessarily as secure as Bitcoin's slower confirmations, they are very convenient for small merchants who don't need transactions to be super secure. The average VoxCoin block takes 2 minutes, one fifth of Bitcoin's 10 minutes. So if merchants wanted to be as safe as Bitcoin, they can wait for 4 times the number of Litecoin confirmations as compared to Bitcoin. But most merchants can readily accept 1-confirmed transactions for small amounts of litecoins.
Difficulty Retarget
We will keep the retarget block the same as Bitcoin's 2016, but because blocks are found 5 times faster, difficulty will retarget about every 3 days. The combination of fast retarget times and Scrypt proof of work (VoxCoin will not compete with Bitcoin for miners) means we do not expect to see the sort of problem that many coins encountered; hashing power that leaves more suddenly than it came, causing a high difficulty slog for everyone who stayed.
Coin Generation
Miners will generate 50 coins per block. In light of our faster blocks, to properly mimic Bitcoin's generation trajectory, we needed to change the blocks at which coin generation is halved. Bitcoin generation is halved every 210,000 blocks. VoxCoin generation will be halved every 740,000 blocks. For those of you doing the math, VoxCoin is scheduled to produce roughly 3.5 times as many coins as Bitcoin, about 74 million VoxCoins.
51% attack
The problem with alternative currencies is that the network hashrate is likely low when the coin starts up, making an easy target for any potential 51% attacker. With a little hope, and good luck, a lot of hype, and due to our fair release, we hope a large hashrate from minute one. We believe this will deter any attackers from targeting this our chain.

As far as my opinion is concerned,sudden rise in the prices is just another pump which is a no big deal.The coin's going to fall down soon.

Bitcoin is always going to be in first place, No BCC nor other bitcoin altcoins will overthrow BTC!!
Ethereum haven't really moved in a long time compared to the BTC increase. What can be the reasons for this? Are people not as enthusiastic about Ethereum as they were, or is because of new scalable projects on the Bitcoin blockchain?

1. Neo is my most favorite coin because i get free Gas. So for example if you keep 10 Neo in the wallet, you will get 1.2 Gas in a year.
2. Dash is 2nd most fav among the investor, they will give you 7.5% interest , but only downfall is you have to have minimum 1000 Dash.
3. okCash, you will earn 10% interest just to keep okCash in the wallet, no minimum coin required.
4. Reddcoin will give you up to 5% interest for holding the coin, no minimum coin required.

You should focus on smaller name Altcoins as well. The big name altcoins are expensive. Small coins have more margin!!!

Etherdelta is very popular but their service is not what it should be, with first hand experience i had several issues with withdrawing my ETH and had to wait quite some time before their support was willing to help.

there is a real blame game going on here. Both have evidences. ETHP is already officially listed on etherdelta whereas the ethereumplatinum.org has not listed it on any exchange. only 5 tokens were distributed to each member as airdrop and total coin supply is 20 million. they are organising pre sale in ether delta. I wonder who is legit here?

He saw that EPL ETHEREUMPLATINUM.ORG created a ANN on the 26 Oct and later that day he went to register the same domain name ending with XYZ, and copied the site content.
2 Days later Token holders from ETHEREUMPLATINUM.ORG discovered his site and warned the real ETHEREUMPLATINUM.ORG team about it. EPL team posted a warning on their ANN, after the warning post was submitted this same user jimbobape the cheater started to harass the real EPL community and now posted this big fat of a lie thread.
