I'm working on a mining pool as this has been the source of many requests and frustrations. The pool will charge a 1% fee just simply to support server costs. The pool should be up in several days. I'm sorry I didn't take this on earlier.

I've made some optimizations to the pool and it should be rock solid now, it should be able to handle up to 1 Kh/s. And I've increased the share rate to 1 share per 100s.

Although the difficulty on the network is crazy high so you might get annoyed for days without blocks, so probably a pool is better.

just merge mine with Litecoin stop being retards or get 51% when you're block rewards halve in 10 days and even more miners leave.
Merge mining with Litecoin puts a really high sell pressure on Dogecoin, effectively guaranteeing a low price forever.
Not to mention Coinotron does not breed a lot of confidence.
I agree that switching to PoS or a hybrid PoW/PoS would be better than being merge mined.
I am biased though because I think PoS > PoW all day long... that is until electrical efficiency and wasted processing power can be worked out with PoW.
Anyways... you guys should figure it out fast before the incentive to secure the Dogecoin block chain is gone.
If you're still holding onto doge then you're quite a fool. It is textbook fad and people got tired of that meme. POS or POW is a false dichotomy. Dying coin or up and coming coin is the real question.
Litecoin was somewhat interesting as long as it stayed GPU only. Now it is just a version of Bitcoin without the first mover advantage.
Ltc will surpass btc with mass adoption soon enough, not many serious investors will risk an anon dev especially with such a large stake, thats the huge advantage ltc has over btc.
LTC will surpass BTC in the same way that Mark Sanchez will surpass Peyton Manning
