Re: GDPR data protection act also in BTT?
by

I just read an interesting article in nytimes:

https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/03/06/business/economy/user-data-pay.html?smid=fb-nytimes&smtyp=cur&referer=http://m.facebook.com/

basically it states what the world could have been if google, facebook and other massive organizations would pay us for the data they harvest from our use of their services and being sold for advertisers.

new GDPR regulation starting in may obligate all data harvesting companies (mostly in EU countries) to get a consent from their users. this is a real revolution in the data world. until these no publisher paid any attention to the user. now the user most pay his consent in order for the organizations to use it. and also the user can own the information and remove it or sell it.

so after all of these my question is in regard to BTT is if the keep any information about us and if so will they ask for our consent after May?

thoughts?

GDPR concerned every data controller, which processes personal data of EU citizens or on the territory of the EU, so it also related BTT. I think there is numerous personal data, for example IP addresses (IP is considered to be personal data by court decision).
correct.

i really wonder if they comply since you know, this is not the most established organization in the world.

there are a lot of companies keeping our data from fintech to commodities almost everything we do online is monitored.

that's why so many blockchains are so important as the keep us anonymous.

Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN
by

I read some news that Ethereum will get back to 400 dollars.

Do you think these rumors are real? I tend to think yes and I think this will happen soon.

To be well understood, I believe in Ethereum's potential (even though so far I have lost money investing in Ethereum, but I notice that it is still a good project and this will makes it to explode one day) and I still believe that by the end of 2018 it will have an increase of thousands of dollars, but at the same time I feel that it will drop much more than it is now before starting the growth again.

the problem is that no one really know what will happen except for the growth we see over the years. try not to invest anything you can't lose. i do believe in ether as well and i really doubt it will drop to $400.

Re: What is your favorite ICO at the moment?

Hi there,

There are a lot of ICO's on the market everyday. Which of the ICO's is/are the best for you at the moment?

Kind regards,

I really like Liberdy.io

this project team is coming from the advertising world and it's goal is to disrupt the advertising market and give the Data back to the user. as you know probably Google and Facebook keep our information and sell it to advertisers. Liberdy wants to use this information in a segmented way that keeps the user privacy and rewards it for the usage of it's Data sold to advertisers in the advertising world.

i recommend you guys check it out.

Re: 2018 bigger year for ICOs?

Hi

i think this market will keep booming, there are so many new companies with great ideas.
i think that the matters solved by blockchain application will grow and affect our lives more and more and the way to fund these projects will be through crows funding.

for example i just heard of a new project called Liberdy which takes your data from google and facebook and pays you for it. information those companies keep track of will be now available for us to sell. those kind of ideas are the ones that will keep [Suspicious link removed]panies and ICO's alive this year in my opinion.

if the people actually got their coins so there us no scam.

but lot's of projects disappear after they raise ICO. if you git your coins it's your business deciding when to cash it out.

the company has too much control of XRP they can raise him up or sink it completely. they control the entire process there.

I hope all of us remember the sudden surge in the value of Ripple in December then again it throttled down but if you notice the chart from few days again ripple is gradually gaining value so do you all think it will go through one more similar pump which occurred in December ?

there's a lot of FUD  around it these days... it's possible...all kinds of corporations..
