Re: Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme
by
ambeo
on 15/12/2018, 19:39:11 UTC
I don't know if I am the only one that is not worried about the market and feel it is doing fine?
I see different posts about people saying different things like "it is the end", "crypto is dead", "I lost it all, it is time to get out" blah blah blah and I get pissed off. Most people don't do a proper research before FOMO into crypto and confuse it for a get rich quick scheme.
I definitely know the bull run will come but I am not expecting it soon. We just saw a massive bull run about 13 months ago and I think it is too early too see another, because there needs to be room for market correction, which is presently happening. Last year the price of Btc increased by about 1000% and has only reduced by about 600% which means there is still room for more correction. So do away with the fantasy that bull run will occur every year to get you rich and face the reality.

It is only the weak hands that are complaining while the wise are taking advantage of the market to get good altcoins at cheap prices.

What is you thought?Huh
i am sure that whatever is going on witht he market, has good reason and will have good outcome. nothing in this world is going to live according to our expectation, we have to adjust ourselves to this world

Re: WHAT TO DO ABOUT 2019?
by

on 13/12/2018, 14:35:37 UTC
2019 is not far from now and i think we might have seen the worse in 2018 because 2018 bear market came more like a surprise to all cryptocurrency enthusiasts and before we could realize the whole thing the market could not recover which have forced most of us to become holders of some altcoins and different ICO's token that ain't worth holding and now we are almost there in 2019. During the bull run a lot of analytics predicted that Bitcoin could reached $50K and above and now the reserve is the case throughout the year 2018. This year have taught a lot of us different lessons on how to cope during the bear market. May i know your own opinion on how you were able to scale through and survive during this unexpected 2018 bear market...

Thanks Guys
this year was a great teacher, you are right. how could we missed the signs, though... i didn't survive, or rather, i had my loses all right. but it wasn't as painful as it could be because i knew the market was unstable

Today’s event about ripple and Etherum has just shown to all that in crypto currency, prediction is not totally allowed neither is it the best resort.

We can only focus and do our research works
The risk is inevitable

hope I get more ideas from replies
yes it is really difficult to predict the movements. and the decision is to keep going and make the choices according with our desires. we are the only responsibles for what will happen to us

I need to know if the coins like early in the year will start to inflate prices. However, I think this way the market will not rise. Say your ideas.
i think many of us would like to know the question you have asked Wink we can't know for sure if the market stays the same or rise or gets down. all we can do is make some plans. let's start before its too late

Kind time of the day, with every day in ICO we meet more and more fraud. It is clear that no one forces us to invest in these projects. But the idea of a cryptocurrency does not imply any regulatory department. What do you think that could help in solving this problem? I just see only that the advisors were responsible, or they took a pledge from the projects they are entering.
you think that we should find responsible? i guess it's us who are responsible because it is our decisions. it's up to us to investigate what is fraud and what is not, don't you think so?

Etherum is having a very bad situation now. Nearly 50 percent reduction only occurs in a few weeks. Of course this is a very difficult thing for anyone who suffers from Etherum. This is a direct loss, but when we can think more openly, we must know that the price of Etherum is very likely to increase. The quality of Etherum has been recognized by everyone and therefore Etherum has gained a very good level of public trust.
So it's not impossible that the price of Etherum will increase again.

well as we can see there's no such thing as impossible, it's only lack of faith or determination. ethereum has all the chances to restotr itself as well as any other coin. and yeah, public trust means a lot

Re: Why deceiving others?

on 10/12/2018, 15:26:43 UTC
I always believe that everything that goes up will surely have is way down. And crypto makes me believe that things(price) can goes up and down and again and again.....

But why do people keep deceiving themselves by telling others to believe that this is the best time to buy? And what i think is that most of them never bought any because I'm much they also made thesame statements when Eth is at 500$-300$-200$ and now way below that.

Tell me what preaching will those people have for does who bought at $1200 hun?

your question contains an answer already, you see, you've written that they keep deceiving themselves and it happens to be one of the main reason for almost every misery in this world

A little discussion about the market. Do you have belief in this market? In my country, people are frightening when the capitalization is reducing dramatically, many of whom have drawn out from the market. And some experts suggest that people should only invest in 20 coins which have the highest capitalization, and stay away from the low-capital ones. What is your opinion about this?
i guess it is normal, such talks. let's begin wit hthe fact that people are really dim when it comes to crypto market. some absurd superstitions, some far-fetched theories. no wonder it looks fishy

A newbie will surely have is doubt about eth after reading all this.Do you think all these will have negative effect on Eth when bull run finally come for crypto market?
i think that it is normal that people are afraid of eth, look at the market, look at eth itself. not great, really. and those gossip about changes in the project, i mean, team members. let us hope it is all temporary

Re: Seriously guys, why?
by
ambeo
on 04/12/2018, 17:33:31 UTC
In my opinion, aside from it being incredibly obvious that all these alternative cryptocurrencies are made with the sole intention of making their creators rich (jealous of Satoshi much?), I think you guys should stick with one digital cryptocurrency, max.  Given its relatively short life-span and the number of unresolved problems associated with it, we can't even call Bitcoin a success yet, although I'm sure those who have profited significantly would be quick to call Bitcoin a success.  At least, it's not a success when compared to fiat currency which has its security and economy in tact.

Sometimes I wonder how often the members of this community realize how much they marginalize their selves.  Everyone's clients/miners/exchanges are ridiculously difficult to use for the average person, and if these issues still exist with the Google of digital cryptocurrencies (i.e. Bitcoin), how do you expect these other silly currencies with dumb names to work (town coin?  GTFO)?

I think all these cryptocurrencies give the Bitcoin community a bad name.  I think it perpetuates the 'geekiness' of Bitcoin -- imagine the average joe coming on here and then reading about namecoin, solid coin, IOcoin, selfish coin, nerd coin, haven't-gotten-laid-since-2009-coin...all these currencies give the impression we're all just a bunch of greedy fucks with no long-term vision of communal success.  If people put half as much time into stimulating the Bitcoin economy as they did devilishly programming their own cryptocurrency code, maybe at least one of these currencies would have a shot (again, i.e. Bitcoin).

Quit marginalizing the community.  Bitcoin is the only one that has a shot at mainstream popularity, so quit marginalizing the community with all this nerd crap like alternative cryptocurrencies, the word "troll" (Jesus Christ I hate when people say troll, and grandma does too), ridiculous clients and miners, etc.  People like simplicity. This complexity isn't cool.  It's chilly.  And chilly ain't never been cool.
hey, that's interesting suggestion! i agree that people tend to choose the least complicated way with pretty much everything, but they also love to have a choice or at least an illusion of it.

Re: The BTC crash is good news for Altcoins

https://cointelegraph.com/news/why-did-crypto-market-experience-a-27-billion-wipeout-experts-discuss-factors

Every situation has a bright side, you just have to look at the bigger picture!

According to Crypto Rand, a currency trader and technical analyst,

"We will have to wait some more months until BTC settle down its path through a potential reversal, but the alternative cryptocurrency market could take its own direction getting rid of the BTC influence. The big caps altcoin response has been amazing so far."

Further on, the article goes on to say,

"Institutional investors are focusing on products that provide investor protection and strengthen the infrastructure of the crypto market."

Such volatility doesn't mean anything. The true value of cryptocurrency lies in a strong foundation (which requires user-friendly decentralized marketplaces where we can use cryptocurrency, and added security in the form of escrow systems) which will be made possible with the upcoming ICO's.

They're not all scams!
that's interesting! if such things happens indeed, do you think alts will be able of forming some brand new market? i wonder who will be on top. anyway, it's fascinating to look at this situation from this perspective

The sowing season may not be a friendly and palatable season but every wise farmer knows it is the best season of opportunity to get prepared for the looming harvest. The present dip in crypto market is a fertile ground of opportunity for investors to lay hold on as many coins as possible at cheaper prices to store up for the bumper harvest that is imminent in the crypto market. This market dip is a blessing in disguise for me because it affords me the opportunity to buy coins which were before beyond my financial capacity. We must be determined not be distracted by the shout in the crypto market as regards the dip but rather focus on the great profit  we will get from the market .I will not quit investing because I don't want to stop harvesting. If we focus on the shout of the dip in market, we won't want to invest but if our focus is on the profit output from the market, then we will keep investing.

i think that when people follow the fake news they just too lazy to investigate for themselves. let's face it, those who are really determined, they do all that is possible and impossible too in order to reach their goals

A minor fall of BTC and stupid money goes panic selling.

Get it into your head:
-unless you have a really really really large investment in  BTC, BTC won't bring you as much profit as the best alts that have not already been too pumped up will
-BTC is not end all of all crypto. It is important but crypto does not depend on it
-crypto will not die, it will grow much much much bigger so stop panicing!
-if you chose good alts, you have nothing to panic for! If you don't trust you chose good alts, you shouldn't have invested in the firyt place
-buy BTC with FIAT!

exactly! i was sure i wasn't the only one who thinks the same way. especially about the fact that crypto is not going to die, and no need to cry our heads out because of a small change of the scene

Because even tho i got just $4 dollars he felt really good because i know if I could get any money out this, it means it can only get better and I could probably get thousands of dollars from it
you know, there is something really victorious about that feeling of geeting money from such thing as crypto. because it is mostly about mind working, not hands. isn't it wonderful?

I finally decided to create a discussion regarding the future of digital exchanges and I really need your help so I would love to hear your thoughts about it.

Do you think that the decentralised exchanges are going to survive or will be swamped by the non-decentralised exchanges? What's going to be the future of trading? Also, what's the meaning of decentralised exchange? Are they really fully decentralised?

It would be nice to make a list of the good one in order to help other people making a choice.
it is nice to stay in the shadow when you don't want your name to be seen while doing some financial activities. but since our world is not a holy land full of innocent minds, we can agree here it might be sensible to have some publicity

Re: Buterin is preparing to leave Ethereum.

The Creator of the second largest cryptocurrency on the market, Vitalik Buterin, claims that he will soon leave its community. On his Twitter, he said that the process of his” disconnection " from Ethereum has already begun. He believes that the project is not something that will survive, a will cope without him.
"I think Ethereum will not suffer in any way if I leave right tomorrow,” says a post from his Twitter.
The exact date of his departure is still unknown.
What do You think about this?
that's queer. there was gossip about it for a long time, some said it was just a trick, others said that at the last moment he would stay there and all of that needed in order to affect the market

During the last week I bought coins and they almost immediately fell by 10-15%, and today early in the morning I saw how they fell by another 15-20%. How long will it last?., and whether I should sell for what I have. I wouldn't want to be left with empty pockets. Sad
well, that's what we gonna enjoy for the next few months, and it's sort of normal reaction of some people to present situation. we jst need to be a bit more broad-minded in terms of investing our money Wink

Prediction for 2020 bitvoin is worth 100k usd according to John Mc Afee, some observers agree with what was stated, Crypto currency experienced the lowest decline in 2015 and rose in 2017 estimated at 2021 all altcoins will soon reach their peak, its still anyone belive it, well Im not  what do you think on this?
i think that such kind of predictions is a big question, because really, we have tons of it regarding this year and even this month and what's happened? we should research and make conclusions by ourselves
